Miller House is a beautiful place to stay in a great location downtown Mahone Bay. Very walkable to shops , galleries and restaurants. Lovely Rail Trail nearby where we biked 10km to Lunenburg. Margaret was so welcoming, friendly and had great suggestions on what to do in the area. Our room was large with a very comfortable bed. The shared bathroom was close by and never a problem. Breakfast was delicious with coffee, fresh fruit, breads, muffins, croissant, yogurt, granola and eggs if you wish. Chevy, the sweet pup was fun to have around. My wife and I enjoyed our stay. The place is exceptionally clean and comfortable. I loved the fact that we could sit outside on the balcony and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. It was a treat to be greeted by a young deer on the front lawn to start the day. The breakfast was exceptional .

The room was nice. Nice view of the water Garbage was left in cans by previous person. The hallway leading to room wasn’t tidy items piled up such as buckets and unused chairs Microwave didn’t work in the room Screen broken leading to deck

Glenn and Elizabeth are wonderful hosts! And their house is in a great location, walking distance to the middle of Pictou, with a nice view of the waterfront. Their house is lovely and quiet and we would definitely stay there again.

Everything was great. The only suggestion would be install a mirror or something at the end of the laneway to see oncoming traffic to pull out and cross the road safely.

A sweet little gem of a place with the best host! Plus a super comfy bed and wonderful breakfast.

Self check-in, check-out, no staff, so surprised. The room is fully equipped and can bring your own food to cook. The only quilt is that the blanket is heavy and damp. No breakfast is provided and there is no charge, but there is an ice cream shop around the hotel where locals go to eat.
