At the beginning it is hard for me to choose even the review is positive, but when I arrive and check in, I totally change my view. The surrounding is cozy, the room are clean with no cigarette odour even they provide ash tray in the room (suggest owner take away the ash tray and put a notice smoke at provider smoking area out side the premises), toilet are bright and water pressure is good (but hope the owner can make a little bit changes for the wiring system of the water heater), the food is tasty and size are too big for solo traveller (suggest to owner set a price for small size for not wasting food), the owner parents are friendly and always give the good service. At night, surrounding is quite and good to rest. it is a walking distance to Jing shang ling tourist center but if planning to do the sunrise walk the owner will provide a transfer service to the entrance at 330am. Overall it is a good choice to stay here.

The room is clean and well-planned, perfect for a family of five. The owner is very friendly. We arrived 2 hours early and left 1 hour late without any extra charge. The indoor kitchen, laundry and other facilities are complete, which can meet the needs of guests who cook their own food. The underground parking space is free. The hotel can have breakfast, 98 yuan per person. In fact, it is more cost-effective to buy meals from the supermarket in advance and eat them in the room.

This is a whole suite with a yard, which can easily accommodate three families. The room is clean and hygienic, and the facilities are modern. There is a kitchen and three bathrooms, and a large yard filled with all kinds of fruits and vegetables (the boss is definitely an expert at growing vegetables!). It is only ten minutes' walk from the gate of Jinshanling Great Wall, which is very convenient. The boss and his family are very, very kind. Compared with the attached five-star Jinshanling Great Wall Hotel, the conditions are better and the price-performance ratio is super high.

We chose this place because there is only a couple of hostels in this area that takes non-Chinese visitors. The room is spacious and clean with a huge bed (it’s a hard mattress, not soft). Shower is a bit weak but enough for our cleaning need. A very short walk to the entrance which allowed us to view the sunrise. A huge menu to choose from for lunch and dinner - you can pre-order and let the host know when you want the food to be served. Free breakfast that was well-balanced and filling. Can drive you to Gubeikou Station to catch the train back to Beijing for a negotiable fee. Overall we had a great 2-night stay!

The neighborhood is very nice and green. Lawson is right outside the hotel. The whole house is full of branded home appliances. But it's funny. Good brands can't be used. The faucet of Haier's washing machine is faulty. I couldn't wash my swimsuit after taking a hot spring bath. It's basically just a decoration. The most speechless thing is. In this weather, the water temperature is uncontrollable. The air conditioner is uncontrollable. The water temperature is just over 30 degrees Celsius, which is hot water. You'll freeze to death if you take a bath. The hot spring water temperature is the same. This room rate is not worth it at all. It's very pet-friendly. The service is also good. It's just that the hardware facilities are really... I don't know how to evaluate it.

Foreigners should be aware that checking in will only be smooth if you have a local number and a Chinese bank card!! I had neither… however the owner was very accommodating and helped to come up with a solution for me. They worked so hard to make me comfortable and help me with anything I needed. Thank you to my sweet hosts for making me feel so welcome :) The room was gorgeous and the washing machine is a huge plus!

A fantastic homestay in Nuanquan Village. Helpful proprietor, fantastic service. The room was exactly as advertised: 2 kang beds, spacious and warm. Great value. Only a 10-15 minute walk to the 打树花 performance. Highly recommend.
