This was by far the best hotel I stayed at during my ten-day trip to Northeast China! Mohe was my last night on the trip, and I had been quite disappointed by previous hotels, so staying here really cheered me up. The owner was super nice, even helped with my luggage, and clearly pays great attention to details and creating a good atmosphere. The room had an instant hot water dispenser with adjustable temperature, a humidifier, and a truly beautiful view. Besides regular towels, disposable ones were also provided. Mohe was right outside the window. The price was also much better than other guesthouses I'd seen, even those with potentially nicer decor. And the toiletries were L'Occitane – that was a pleasant surprise I definitely didn't expect! I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Mohe in winter.

Bringing my elderly parents and kids here was the best decision! The guesthouse is super spacious, giving the kids plenty of room to play. There's even a slide and a ball pit in the room, which totally freed up my hands and kept the kids entertained. The entire place is smart-home enabled, and there's a huge projector screen – it felt amazing. The front desk even had kids' slippers and toothbrushes. The attention to detail is just perfect!

Excellent! This is the most comfortable and best value-for-money apartment hotel I've stayed at in Harbin. Plus, it's on a high floor, so I got to see varying depths of snow every day.

The environment was pretty good, and the kids had a blast. However, the top bunk was a bit warm, especially with the heating on full blast in winter – it's best to open a window slightly. The water heater for the shower wasn't great; after one person showered for 10-15 minutes, the water would turn cold, and the next person had to wait. So, the bathtub was pretty much useless.

Mohe Youran Mountain Residence — Youran? More like “You’re-A-Relative” This old dog padded in expecting a stay… and somehow got adopted. One step through the door and the wife hugged me like a long-lost littermate. Tail wagging commenced immediately. 🐾 If warmth could melt Mohe’s cold, this household would be climate change. My downstairs room? Small. A little dim. Chosen for my sister’s convenience rather than my royal canine standards. But here’s the thing — when hospitality is this generous, the light comes from the people. I ate every meal at their café not out of laziness, but loyalty. Why brave the Arctic for repetitive food when home-style comfort is already waiting with a bowl and a smile? Youran lives up to its name: unforced, gentle, human. It felt less like a hotel and more like visiting relatives who keep refilling your bowl because you look “too thin.” This became the perfect launchpad for my Harbin expedition, three nights of settling in, warming up, and learning that charm travels better than luxury. Now, the honest bone (every good dog buries one): I’d give this a 4.1 stars if decimals existed. Since they don’t, here’s a conditional 5-star — contingent on tighter cleanliness under beds, chairs, and in the toilet. I raised this directly with the boss because I’d happily recommend this boutique stay to my pack… once the floors behave. All in, Mohe Youran Mountain Residence didn’t just host me — they claimed me. And this dog? I don’t forget who treats me like family. #Dogevangelistauthor #patiencechee #BoneofLoyalty #BoneofBranding #AdoptDontShop #DontBuyAdoptADog #ResponsiblePetOwnership #MoheStay #BoutiqueHotelChina #HomestayVibes #WarmHospitalityColdClimate #TravelWithHeart #HonestReviews #OldDogNewJourneys

Big thanks to Sister Qiu for always responding to our inquiries and to the boss, Hongbo, for the warm hospitality and care. We had a very comfortable and fun four-day, three-night stay (Dec 27-30) in Snow Valley. The warm beds, hot meals, and enjoying all the entertainment activities in Snow Valley and Snow Village gave our group of four an extraordinary winter experience. At Xiongling in Snow Valley, we tried snowmobiling, snow tubing, skiing, and snow drifting (super thrilling!). **Friendly reminder**: Please wear sunglasses, a mask, and a snow hat. This will help prevent the cold snow from hitting your face when you're snow drifting. The snow hitting your face is incredibly, unbelievably cold! For the Yangcaoshan itinerary, I recommend buying tickets for the horse-drawn sled and taking the snowmobile all the way up the mountain. Hiking would be a very long and time-consuming distance. For the second half, we opted to hike down to Snow Village, and the snow scenery along the way was absolutely spectacular, perfect for photos. You can also buy a small sled to enjoy some exciting mini snow runs on the way down. **The only drawback**: The shower head in the bathroom had low water pressure, so it took a bit longer to shower.

Yabuli's Hidden Gem B&B! An unforgettable, heavenly experience once you've stayed here✨ Choosing this high-end, owner-operated B&B was the luckiest thing that happened to us on our Yabuli ski trip! The property is the owner's own, and you can tell a lot of thought went into its creation – the decor is incredibly tasteful, modern minimalist yet with the cozy warmth of a Northeast courtyard. All the furniture and appliances are top-quality, with smart toilets, underfloor heating, and a high-definition projector. The facilities are so new they look like they've just been unboxed; it's even more comfortable than a star-rated hotel. A special shout-out to the landlady! She's an absolute godsend for germaphobes; the cleanliness is impeccable: the bedding smells like sunshine, is sparkling white and completely wrinkle-free, and every corner of the bathroom and crevice on the tabletops is spotless. Even the toiletries are brand-name products – attention to detail is evident everywhere. The landlady is incredibly thoughtful, asking for our arrival time in advance, proactively sharing ski tips and local food recommendations. She responds instantly to any requests, providing attentive service throughout without being intrusive, making it feel as comfortable as staying at a friend's house. Getting around was also incredibly convenient! The owner provides dedicated shuttle service, whether to the ski resort or for the return journey, always on time. The driver even helps with ski equipment, saving us the hassle of waiting for taxis. The B&B's surroundings are fully equipped, with supermarkets, farm-to-table restaurants, and ski rental shops all within walking distance. You don't have to go far for food or shopping, and the local businesses' prices are very fair, with absolutely no gouging – excellent value for money. This Yabuli trip was twice as enjoyable because of this B&B. I've already recommended it to friends who came with me, and I'll definitely stay here again next time! Highly recommend it to all fellow skiers – you can't go wrong, just book it without hesitation~

Highly recommend this hotel, the location is excellent, very close to Harbin Sunac Paradise, travel is particularly convenient, saving a lot of time on the road. The hotel is decorated in a simple atmosphere, the public area is clean and tidy, the room facilities are complete, air conditioning, network, toiletries are all available, and they are very smooth to use. The service staff is gentle and polite, and the response is timely, which makes people feel very comfortable. The soundproofing effect of the room is good, the rest is very quiet at night, and the quality of sleep is very good. There is no need to say about the sanitary conditions. When you enter the house, you feel refreshed and comfortable, without a sense of perfunctory. For tourists who come to Sunac Park, this hotel is impeccable in terms of location, environment and service. It is an ideal accommodation choice and worthy of five-star praise!

The facilities are excellent and the B&B's style is absolutely gorgeous, far exceeding my expectations! The hygiene is top-notch; an auntie cleans every day, making it a truly comfortable and clean stay. The environment is also fantastic, with a neat and pleasant little courtyard belonging to the hotel. The service attitude is superb – they answer all your questions and are thoughtful and warm! Located in a residential area, getting around is super convenient. It's just a few minutes' walk to the Chinese Baroque area, and there's a subway station nearby, so transportation gets full marks!

GGuest UserHighly recommend for anyone planning a trip to Snow Valley! Nan Nan Homestay has an unbeatable location, incredibly close to the ski resort. After a tiring day of skiing, you can just turn around and head back to rest. The owner is a local and an excellent guide, providing professional service. The attraction tickets they helped us book were cheaper than online, and they even arranged free shuttle service within the scenic area, so we didn't have to lug our luggage around. The rooms are well-equipped with private bathrooms and complimentary toiletries. The large kang bed can accommodate 2-4 people, making it perfect for family trips or traveling with friends. The 'tie guo dun' (iron pot stew) and 'guo bao rou' (sweet and sour pork) at the restaurant are super authentic, with fresh and flavorful ingredients – incredible value for money. We loved our stay so much, we didn't want to leave!

AAnonymous UserPros: 1. Very friendly and helpful host. She can speak English as well. Ready to assist anytime. We loved the attitude! 😍 2. Host helped to store our luggages at her house for 5 days during our road trip with charges but cheap. 3. Apartment is spacious with 2 super queen bed, clean and worth the price. There was aunty clean the apartment everyday. 4. There is washing machine (without dryer), so if you plan to wash the clothes, bring extra hanger and portable clothes line to dry the clothes. 5. Modern toilet bowl with bidet. Bath tub so big and nice but located outside of the bathroom at the dry and open area. So, a bit scared to use it in case we will wet the house. 6. There is aircond/heater in the house. The floor heated as well made the house it warm and so comfortable to walk around. We slept soundly, didn't even realize when it was snowing outside the building. Cons: 1. The building looks old and ran down. Inside the building was dirty and messy, not taken care of, not like inside the apartment. 2. People smoking inside the building and apartment next door. So the smells of the smokes travelled around, into our apartment. So annoying and suffocating. So we always kept the door closed and put something underneath the door to avoid the smell coming inside. Plus point: 1. There are few stalls opened in front of the building selling snacks - tanghulu, street foods and limited winter wear. 2. Baroque street 800m from the building, but too cold to walk there. So we just admired from afar 🥹 3. Zhongyang street only 1.5km from the apartment, we used Didi to avoid the cold weather. 3. Train station not far from the apartment but we never try as we used didi to move around. 4. There is halal restaurant not far from the apartment. Didn't get chance to try either, as we always back late and usually already ate. Fully recommended considering the kindness of the host and the apartment itself.

MM250700****While scrolling through Xiaohongshu for travel tips, I stumbled upon a photo of this place featuring motorcycle travelers – helmets hanging on the wall, group photos of fellow adventurers – and it instantly resonated with me. Driven by an impulse, I set off, and the moment I walked through the door, I wasn't disappointed. The walls weren't just adorned with photos of motorcycle enthusiasts checking in; there were also postcards and handwritten letters from guests all over the world. These messages conveyed sentiments ranging from the exhilaration of riding thousands of kilometers to the joy of seeing the aurora for the first time. It felt like stepping into a 'spiritual gathering place' for passionate travelers, where even the air hummed with the warmth of dream-chasing. Settling in, I felt even more at ease. Both the room and public areas were spotlessly clean and tidy. The bedding was neat and odorless, there was no clutter on the tables or floor, and even the smallest details in the corners were meticulously maintained. This cleanliness wasn't a forced orderliness, but rather a comfortable ease that instantly melted away much of my travel fatigue. What truly touched me was the human warmth here. The front desk staff were enthusiastic and genuine, taking the initiative to chat with us about travel routes in Beiji Village, sharing aurora forecasts, and offering photography tips. The hotel even provided free hot water and ladles, allowing us to experience the fun of 'splashing water into ice.' Everyone else at the hotel was also very friendly. Occasionally, when chatting with other travelers in the common area, the feeling of being strangers vanished instantly. In the biting cold winds of the far north, 'Motorcycle Enthusiast Home' wasn't just a clean and comfortable place to stay; it fulfilled my passion for motorcycling and allowed me to experience an unexpected warmth.

GGuest UserThis probably the best homestay you can get in yabuli or anywhere else. Why? Inform them of your arrival in yabulixi West Station and their driver will come pick you up complimentary. Once back into hotel, you can ask to go for activities or dinners and they are eager to send you there. Breakfast is also served complimentary everyday with different types every morning, just so good and delicious. Mr. Pang and Mr Li and their spouses are very friendly and helpful. You will never regret staying here. The rooms are heated from the floor, not wall so you can walk about with warm flooring. Window is facing small park and beautiful hill, very close to the ski centres. You will definitely love this place.
