I stayed for three nights. The hotel is located within the Tongtuo Muyu scenic area, which is small and not yet officially open, so there aren't many tourists, mostly local residents. The room was spacious, with the famous Chan River visible from the window. The windows were well-sealed; once closed, you couldn't hear the sound of the water. You can control the lights and curtains by voice, which is great for winter. The breakfast selection was rich, and the old lamb soup with bread (paomo) comes highly recommended (you need to go to the restaurant to eat it yourself). Both the staff and the cat were incredibly welcoming; the cat would even follow me to my room and actively ask for scratches. A small suggestion: the blue light on the smart toilet seat was a bit bright at night, and I couldn't figure out how to turn it off.

It was a really enjoyable stay: the location is very central and the subway line is only 2 mins walk away. So from the high speed line it will take you approximately 50 mins to reach the hotel. Taxi is sometimes not even fast - the price of the subway is unbeatable low compared to the taxi. The room was very clean, quiet and ideal for a couple of days. The owner was very kind and even helped with the laundry. Wi-Fi connection was top. Around the hotel you‘ll find loads of traditional restaurants, Cafés and supermarkets. A hidden gem, which I highly recommend.

The location is fantastic! It's about a 3-minute walk to Luoyi Old Town if you turn left out of the main entrance, and about an 8-minute walk to Shizi Street if you turn right. Big thanks to the guy at the front desk for helping us with our luggage. Traveling with a kid in winter means you can't skimp on warm clothes, so they really worked hard. Much appreciated! The room had heating, and there was plenty of hot water for showers. My biggest worry in winter is always insufficient hot water, so that was a relief.

For that price the hotel is quite good. I will tell you about pros and cons of this hotel. Pros: - amazing location in the center of the Zhengzhou, 15-20 minutes away from Zhengzhou railway station, 5 minutes away from subway station, lots of cafes and shops are located nearby. - scenic view from the room and big bed for decent price. Cons: - There was no hot water due to broken boiler, air-conditioner costs 15 more yuan to use. - Additionally, there was no hand soap, but i was provided with shampoo, shower gel, toothbrushes and 2 towels. In general quality to price ratio is good, do not expect anything extraordinary from this hotel for that price.

The B&B as a whole is very well-designed, showing the owner's dedication. I booked the two-bedroom courtyard room, the one that was 900+, and the indoor hygiene was spotless. The rooftop courtyard was also thoughtfully put together. The room has a 'Xiao Ai' smart speaker, so you just need to speak up, and it can control the TV, AC, and curtains without you having to lift a finger. The courtyard is perfect for photos and ideal for a small group of girlfriends to stay. You can gather around the fire for tea in the evening and snap some pictures. The overall service was also very warm and welcoming.

We arrived at the Longmen Grottoes a little after 5:00 AM that day. We added a friend on WeChat in advance, and he picked us up in the underground parking lot. Water and drinks were readily available in the lobby. Upon check-in, they were very considerate, giving us a small gift bag, even nail clippers. The service was incredibly detailed. After checking in, we went on a round-trip tour of the scenic area, which took about two hours. The walk was a bit tiring, so we ate at a food stall across from the hotel. The room had a bathtub, which we used for our child's bath. The bedding was excellent, and there was also a laundry service. This is definitely a top choice for a stay at the Longmen Grottoes. I highly recommend it.

Finally got to visit Kaifeng! Our stay at 'Shangheyuan Folk Culture' was an absolute delight, definitely deserves a solid five-star rating! 🛏️ **Spotlessly Clean Rooms, Impeccable Details** The moment we stepped in, we felt incredibly comfortable. The room was thoroughly cleaned, the bedding was soft and white, and the bathroom sparkled like new with no unpleasant odors. It's clear the owners put a lot of effort into hygiene, making our stay very reassuring. 🌿 **Elegant and Atmospheric Environment, Full of Ancient Charm** The guesthouse's design beautifully blends Song Dynasty elegance with modern simplicity. Exquisite decorations and calligraphy artwork are visible everywhere, and the courtyard is serene, with a beautiful view at every turn. Sipping tea in the courtyard at night felt like traveling back to Bianjing a thousand years ago – the ambiance was simply perfect! 👏 **Exceptional Service, Felt Like Home** From check-in to check-out, every staff member greeted us with a smile and provided warm, attentive service. The front desk attendant patiently explained touring routes and helped book tickets, always ready to assist, making us feel like part of the family. 🥣 **Amazing Breakfast! Auntie's Cooking is Superb** I have to give a special shout-out to the breakfast! The variety was rich, and the taste was absolutely incredible! Hu La Tang, steamed soup dumplings, Dou Mo, You Tiao… all authentic Kaifeng flavors. The auntie who made breakfast was especially warm, constantly asking if we had enough and if we wanted more. Her cooking was fantastic, and her warmth started our day full of energy! 🔧 **Brand New and Complete Facilities, Comfortable Experience** The smart appliances in the room, high-end bathroom fixtures, and the perfectly firm yet soft mattress all show the significant investment the owners made to enhance the guest experience. The Wi-Fi was fast, hot water was plentiful, and all amenities were of high quality. In summary, this stay far exceeded our expectations! Whether it was the location, hardware facilities, or soft services, everything was impeccable. I highly recommend this place to anyone planning a trip to Kaifeng – choosing here is definitely the way to go!

This hidden gem of a hotel was truly a pleasant surprise! The front desk staff were incredibly helpful and patient in resolving any issues. The courtyard is spotless and well-maintained, a perfect size that's just lovely to look at. My room was immaculately clean, came with complimentary snacks, and had a great wet/dry separation in the bathroom. I especially loved the lighted mirror at the sink – perfect for makeup, and it made for great photos! All the essential switches were voice-controlled. The blinds, while recessed and offering privacy, weren't completely blackout, as you can see in the pictures below. But overall, it was an absolutely fantastic stay, even exceeding my expectations. The minor drawbacks are easily overshadowed by its many positives. Just a heads-up for a truly objective review: when I checked out, the front desk even gifted me a box of flower cakes – a local specialty! If you stay multiple nights, make sure to eat the complimentary snacks they provide daily; there's a delicious surprise waiting for you! I highly, highly recommend this place; you can't go wrong booking it!

The owner was so nice, so nice! 👍👍👍👍👍👍 Very satisfied! Very satisfied! He even helped us carry and deliver our luggage!! There was WiFi, free laundry service, a working TV, 24-hour hot water for showers, and he even recommended delicious food. The bed was also made perfectly (we messed it up when we first arrived). There was air conditioning. There were two free bottles of water and electric mosquito coils! OMG! !!! The owner was so nice!! I stayed in a guesthouse I absolutely loved. Location: It's a 5-minute walk from attractions (Luoyi Old Town) and the subway station. Plus, there are supermarkets, pharmacies, and restaurants all around, and the host provides a detailed introduction upon check-in. Room facilities: The room is spacious enough, and the facilities are well-maintained. Disposable items (bath towels, face towels) are plentiful and of good quality. The air conditioning kept the room very warm in this weather. Cleanliness: Super clean, even better than some more expensive hotels. Service: They go above and beyond to meet your needs, big or small, and answer all your questions. They even gave us a fridge magnet as a parting gift. In summary, this guesthouse has excellent facilities, and the hosts (a brother and sister) are incredibly kind and 'professional' in every sense of the word. I'll definitely recommend it to friends visiting Luoyang in the future. May the scenery of Luoyang bring renewed joy next spring.
