Booked the Dream Island Treehouse series. Check-in was very smooth. You need to take a shuttle from the front desk to Dream Island, which takes less than 10 minutes including waiting and travel time.
The room itself had no strange odors. The interior decor felt like a budget hotel. As someone with rhinitis, I found the indoor air quality wasn't great and my nose was constantly irritated. The outdoor area, however, was perfect for photos. During activity times, small animals like red pandas and capybaras roamed freely.
Most people come here to see the animals, so the minor drawbacks are tolerable. Overall, a good experience.

I booked this place after seeing the great reviews on Trip.com, and it really lived up to them. It's super close to the ancient town's archway ticket gate, so it was quite easy to find after getting dropped off by taxi. The soundproofing is excellent; it was very quiet at night, and I slept really well. The room was also very spacious, and it was lovely to relax on the small balcony in the afternoon with some tea and sunshine. The owners, a couple, were incredibly kind. They helped us with our luggage both when we arrived and when we left, and even gave me a bag of local specialties. Their dog is adorable too! I highly recommend staying here when you visit Zhouzhuang.

This is a great Republic of China-era hotel, tucked away in a quiet spot yet still central. The courtyard is very unique, and the hotel's location is excellent. It's about 800 meters from popular attractions like Geyuan Garden, Heyuan Garden, Dongguan Street, Pishi Street, Dongguan Ancient Ferry, and Xing Street – all within easy reach. There are also plenty of dining options; the famous Erchun Fried Rice is right next door, and old brands like Fuchun Teahouse, Maopailou, and Gonghechun are all nearby. It's incredibly convenient for an after-dinner stroll. The service is excellent, and the rooms are clean and hygienic. Located at the entrance of a small alley, it's wonderfully peaceful and beautiful. If time permits, brewing a pot of tea and sitting in the courtyard to soak in the 'slow Yangzhou' vibe would be truly delightful!

This is my second stay here, and it's absolutely fantastic! The room facilities are excellent, and the bathroom is great with 24-hour hot water. The TV has a streaming service with membership, so you can watch any movie or show you like, and screen mirroring from your phone is super convenient. There's also a mini-fridge in the room, which is a lifesaver for anyone who loves cold drinks or has a small appetite – you can store leftovers! Plus, the front desk has a microwave available, which is a huge bonus.
The location is amazing with tons of great food nearby. You have to try Shenyang Chicken Rack (ask for the vinegar-splashed version!) and Tai Ben Niu (literally a few steps away). There's also Cha Yan Yue Se and Yogourt Family (you can order delivery or walk there, it's not far). It's very close to the subway station, making it easy to get anywhere, and taxis are cheap too. Highly recommend!

This mansion was built in the third year of Guangxu (1877) by Zhang Bingyan, a scholar of the Qing Dynasty who served as the prefect of Lianzhou and Zhaoqing in Guangdong. The name of the mansion comes from the idiom 'bing ou xue wan' (ice bowl and snow cup). The architecture is laid out along a central axis, forming a seven-courtyard complex. It once housed a printing workshop, storing engraved plates such as those for the 'Xiao Juan You Ge Fa Tie' calligraphy collection.

Location: The location is absolutely fantastic! The subway is super convenient right outside the hotel. The closest exit is Shanghai Road Exit 6b, and it's just a two or three-minute walk. There are also lots of great food options downstairs, making it incredibly easy to get to attractions. Plus, many delivery services are available.
Room Amenities: It's very clean, truly spotless!!! No strange hairs, no yellowed bed sheets, and no odor in the bathroom. A germaphobe's dream. The only minor thing is that water tends to get tracked out of the bathroom easily; perhaps a bath mat could be added. Next time I visit Nanjing, I'm definitely booking a room with a window! I forgot to take pictures of the room, but it looks exactly like the promotional photos. I just don't have a good sense of square footage, so I was a bit surprised by the size when I saw it in person, but it's still perfectly comfortable for one person.
Service: Both the owner and the cleaning staff are incredibly warm, friendly, and dedicated!

Next to the gate of Huaguo Mountain, it takes only two minutes to walk. The new homestay has been warmly opened. The rooms are clean and tidy, with transparent sunlight, providing you with a comfortable rest space. There is an exclusive parking space in the courtyard, and self-driving tourists can park without worry. In the morning, wake up naturally in the gentle and crisp sound of birdsong and start a pleasant day. The location is convenient and the environment is quiet. It is an ideal place to stay after visiting Huaguo Mountain. I sincerely recommend it to every traveler who seeks tranquility and convenience.

Cleaning service should be improved. When you arrive in the room it is clear that they do not deep clean between one client and the other, cause the floors are not clean, there is dust, spider webs and there is heavy dirt in the corners of the room and behind the bathroom.
Prp: the bed of the room I got was very comfy and soft. The room had a closet to store my clothes, and a big desk that was very convenient for me. The area around the building is very lively with a lot of restaurants and it's quite near the subway and train station (walking distance around 10-15 min).
Cons:They should decide if they want you to provide an apartment or hotel service, they are not very clear what their aim is since they don't provide hotel service for short stays (like daily cleaning, they only take the rubbish but don't cleam bathroom and floors) but not even apartment service for longer stays (such as dish soap or a pot to cook, or things to clean the apartment on your own). They provide kitchen and washing machine with no cleaning products or kitchen appliances, not even soap to wash the mugs they provide (that were dirty). The people who work at the reception are friendly but completely disorganised. The first day I was locked out three times from my room cause they could not provide me with a proper keycode and finally gave me a key which I had to sit on the floor to open each time cause it was the emergency key of the electronic dial thing that there is on the door.
One day I came back and the cleaning lady took out my electricity card even if I had food in the fridge that could have gone bad. They said that I should not use electricity and the A/C too much otherwise I should have paid more. They never stated this nor on the website or in person.
After not providing me with good service, theh repeatedly asked me to give them good reviews and send them a screenshot of a 5 stars review, instead of asking me how to improve their service.
Overall, when I booked the price was worth it but I would not book it again now that the price is more expensive.

The inn located inside one lanza just neside the canal. It takes you no time to go any places of the town. It's just nearby the three bridges where at night the light is beautiful. The plus of the in is that Jack, the owner, he gave me a great support when I stay there. Maybe he's the only in the town can speak English that made me very calm when arrived. He's also very helpful with his map on which he draw a route recommended. This is also the only one does this since I had been in 2 others old town before but none of them have a map for the guest 😞. Very recommend the inn. And Jack! Pluss my room is very beautiful & spacious with a tea table beside the big windows looking to the tiny & cute gate of the house.

We planned a holiday trip to Suzhou with our baby this May, making it his first ever travel experience. Pingjiang Road was our top choice for accommodation, and this guesthouse popped up on Ctrip's app, looking great, so I booked it. The actual experience was truly fantastic.
From the subway station, I called the number sent by Ctrip via text to arrange a pick-up. After getting off the subway at Xiangmen Station (Line 1), Exit 3, the shuttle bus was already waiting across the road. We enjoyed the scenery on the shuttle for about 5 minutes before arriving at the guesthouse. There's a doorbell at the main gate, and it opens automatically with a press.
The guesthouse is decorated in a New Chinese style. Upon check-in, I saw guests in Hanfu taking artistic photos, giving me the illusion of stepping back into ancient times, which immediately melted away much of my travel fatigue. The front desk staff were warm, meticulous, and thoughtful. The room facilities were complete, the environment was clean, and all toiletries and daily necessities were provided. There were free drinks in the fridge, and shortly after checking in, a fruit plate was delivered. In the evening, they even offered tremella soup, which was much more considerate than typical hotels. Breakfast the next day was delivered to our door promptly as requested, and the portion was generous, suitable for those with a big appetite. We even received a bag of snacks upon check-out.
I'd love to stay at this guesthouse again next time I visit Suzhou, and I'll definitely recommend it to my friends.

GGallleyaThis is the best hotel we stayed in during our trip to China. We lived in a separate house. It's quiet and cozy there. The air conditioner works well for heating.
The hostess is very friendly and kind. When we got lost during check-in, she herself came for us. Also thanks to the man who helped us when leaving the hotel.
Comfortable bathroom, good beds, spacious room. I highly recommend it!

LlschungDuring our recent stay at this wonderful hotel, we were exceptionally satisfied with every aspect of our experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly by the hotel staff who came out to meet us at the scenic area entrance and assisted with our luggage. This level of service set the tone for our entire visit.
The hotel's décor is stunning, creating a serene and visually pleasing environment. Our room was spacious and beautifully appointed, providing a restful haven where we enjoyed a comfortable night's sleep. It truly is a fantastic place to relax and unwind.
One of the highlights of our stay was the delightful afternoon tea, particularly the grain snacks which were so delicious that we requested the hotel staff to help purchase and courier some to Shanghai for us to bring home. Their willingness to accommodate our request added a special touch to our experience.
Breakfast at the hotel was another standout. The porridge, in particular, was so delectable that the hotel kindly gave us a pack of the rice used to prepare it. This gesture was much appreciated and spoke volumes about their commitment to guest satisfaction.
Overall, our stay at this hotel was nothing short of exceptional. We wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a comfortable and pleasant retreat. If we return to this area, we will undoubtedly choose to stay here again.

GGuest UserThis guesthouse has a charming, antique feel. The location is fantastic, just a short walk from the Humble Administrator's Garden and Suzhou Museum, with plenty of great food options nearby. The owner is very artistic and thoughtful; they contacted me in advance and proactively shared travel and dining tips. After a tiring day of sightseeing, the owner's father even made me coffee. I was very satisfied with my two-night stay, definitely a five-star rating!

YYaoxiaomiParking nearby is very convenient and inexpensive. The room is incredibly well-designed, and from the master bedroom balcony, you have a direct view of Nanjing South Railway Station. The small tea room is thoughtfully equipped with a complete gongfu tea set, tea leaves, and bottled Nongfu Spring water.
The common area features a large calligraphy desk with brushes, ink, paper, and inkstones, perfect for scripture copying, enjoying incense, or savoring a cup of tea. You can also relax on the sofa with a book. It truly is a versatile aesthetic experience space. I found myself working at the calligraphy desk in the afternoon, basking in the sun with a cup of tea, and my productivity soared. When I felt tired, I'd just recline on the sofa, and if I was sleepy, I'd take a nap. The surroundings are incredibly quiet, which is a huge plus for a light sleeper like me. I'll definitely choose this place for my future business trips.
There are also plenty of dining options nearby, including local specialties like duck blood vermicelli soup and chicken broth dumplings. Lele Street offers a wide array of bubble tea and dessert shops, as well as barbecue stalls and other snacks.
