Staying within the scenic area was a brilliant choice. It allowed us to explore in the evenings and early mornings when there were fewer tourists. The guesthouse, which is uniformly managed by the scenic area, exceeded our expectations. It was clean and tidy, with all amenities thoughtfully provided (like disposable bathtub liners and toilet seat covers). The butler service was excellent; they contacted us via WeChat two days in advance, and after check-in, promptly and proactively sent us various information and even arranged exclusive activities. On the day of arrival, we joined the butler for a photoshoot in the rapeseed fields, and the next morning, we strolled through the ancient village with them, listening to stories of old houses. During both activities, the butlers were incredibly enthusiastic and attentive. They paid special attention to elderly guests and those who loved taking photos, ensuring no one got left behind, and frequently reminded us about the slippery stone paths on rainy days. Other staff members at the guesthouse were also very proactive and pleasant. The only minor inconvenience was that the guesthouse rooms were quite spread out, making the walk to the breakfast restaurant a bit far.
Sanqingshan Fengshen Homestay | Fengyin Mountain Residence, I fell in love once I lived
A treasure homestay that must live in Sanqingshan! Fengyin Mountain Residence just opened in February, newly renovated, super complete equipment, petty bourgeoisie and style, the boss is attentive to operate, and the experience is full.
✅ Fairy Service (the boss is super invincible nice)
- unlimited free shuttle to Sands/Hong Kong's first cableway, wind and rain, responsive, answer all questions, no need to worry about travel.
- Warm and attentive, caring like a friend, the whole butler service is too safe.
✅ The hardware is awesome (the new homestay is incense)
- There is an elevator, it is super convenient to go up and down, and luggage/elderly children are friendly.
- The room has a projection screen, and I watch a movie in the house at night. The atmosphere is absolutely amazing.
- The whole is clean and tidy, the decoration is tasteful, and the living is comfortable and healing.
✅ Food Fengshen (Auntie cooking yyds)
- Auntie's cooking is closed without stepping on thunder, saving you the trouble of looking for food everywhere.
- Push taro beef: beef tender sprout teeth, taro entrance is instant, we even eat the side dishes!
✅ Leisure super complete (not boring on rainy days)
- There's a chess room, and friends are playing cards.
- Tea in the atrium is super pleasant, the boss will make coffee (pay), and the taste is great.
✅ summary
This is a small-capital hotel with temperature and taste. The boss operates it carefully and the details are full. Next time I come to Sanqingshan, I will definitely come back! I wish the boss a prosperous business and a wealth of money!

My stay in Jingdezhen was a delightful surprise, especially at the Chuan Shang Hang Hotel, which offered a serene and artistic ambiance.
The hotel's architecture blended seamlessly with the natural landscape. Wooden corridors wound around preserved camphor trees, creating a tranquil 'coexistence with nature' feel through the interplay of light and shadow.
The guest rooms were simply designed yet cozy. Large floor-to-ceiling windows brought the lush greenery and distant mountain views indoors, and the lounge chair on the balcony was perfect for an afternoon nap. The room's furnishings were also meticulously chosen; from the tea sets to the fruit platters, every detail showcased thoughtfulness.
Furthermore, the hotel thoughtfully provided a personal photo shoot service, allowing guests to capture exclusive memories while enjoying the aesthetic design – a truly special touch.
It started raining as soon as we got up the mountain, and it was so foggy we couldn't see a thing. We trudged along, heads down, soaked and dispirited, feeling exhausted. Suddenly, I saw an inn ahead. I looked closer and thought, ”Wait, isn't this the Goddess Hotel I booked?” I asked inside, and it was! What a relief! We quickly went in to rest, planning not to leave the room until the weather cleared up.

Jingdezhen Xingshan Shiwai Dongliyuan | Under the Phoenix Trees, Stealing Half a Day of Leisure
If you're looking for a getaway in Jingdezhen, Xingshan Shiwai Dongliyuan is definitely the top choice for escaping the world. Staying in the 'Wutongying' (Phoenix Tree Shadow) room takes relaxation to a whole new level. Every detail showcases the ingenuity of Chinese aesthetics, leaving a lasting impression.
The private courtyard and flowing water are the biggest highlights of the room. The vegetation is artfully arranged and meticulously maintained, with gurgling streams flowing around the greenery. Opening the door reveals a vibrant, living scene of a Jiangnan garden, both tranquil and healing. At night, you fall asleep to the croaking of frogs, and in the morning, you're awakened by the crisp chirping of birds. The natural white noise is gentle and soothing, ensuring a good night's sleep.
The spacious indoor tea room and living area truly captured my heart. In the quiet of the night, burning incense and brewing a pot of tea, listening to the sound of flowing water outside the courtyard, you can cast aside all worries. It's so comfortable you won't want to move. There are also two free tea rooms within the resort, with the 'Yuesu' tea room being particularly elegant. Its serene environment makes it a perfect place to calmly enjoy tea and clear your mind.
My favorite part was going to the top for the view. As night fell, climbing the steps, I looked up to see a bright moon in the sky. The moonlight spilled over the mountains, creating an incredible ambiance – a romance unique to this place. In the evening, there's also a live band at the bar. Enjoying a drink with the music creates a wonderful atmosphere.
The overall environment is tranquil and elegant, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, yet it doesn't lose its charm and local flavor. Whether you want an immersive relaxation experience or to savor a Chinese slow-paced life, this place couldn't be more perfect. If you're vacationing in Jingdezhen, choosing Xingshan Shiwai Dongliyuan is definitely the right decision. Highly recommended!

We had such a wonderful stay at Wangxiangu Cliff Homestay. The views are honestly unreal. Waking up right by the cliffs felt so peaceful and special.
What really made the difference for us was Xiao Xu, our personal assistant. She was incredibly helpful from the start, always responsive, and made everything so easy. She helped arrange our transportation and our hanfu photography experience, which turned out amazing. She even sent us welcome fruits and snacks upon our arrival, which was such a thoughtful touch. She was always there when we needed anything and so kind throughout. We truly felt taken care of.
The breakfast was amazing, and they even upgraded our room to two bigger beds to comfortably accommodate the four of us, which we really appreciated.
Overall, such a memorable stay, and we are really grateful for Xiao Xu. Highly recommend.
This B&B has one word for me: Awesome! Two words: Awesome!
Due to a shortage of rooms, I couldn't book a single room for three consecutive days, so I ended up staying at the Feilin B&B, which is closest to the scenic area. I won't comment on my first day's experience there. On the second day, I decided to move to Yinlu. The housekeepers were so welcoming the moment I walked in. They even cut us some watermelon 🍉😄😄😄, which instantly made the heat feel less intense. Since the room wasn't cleaned yet (we arrived too early to escape), they even arranged a car to take us to Shangqing Ancient Town 👏. When we got back, the room was cleaned and the air conditioning was on. I felt completely refreshed. The arcade game console was especially nostalgic 😄. I heard there's a pool upstairs, but we didn't bring swimsuits, so we didn't even want to see it, hahaha. Throughout our stay, the housekeeper frequently brought us watermelons, which was a delight. Since the hotel doesn't have a kitchen, they recommended the nearby Lao Liu Farmhouse Cuisine (the owner was also very supportive, saying the food was fresh and delicious, though the selection wasn't very extensive). It was a truly thoughtful recommendation, offering excellent value for money. 👍
The B&B is beautifully appointed, clean and elegant, and every staff member greeted us with a polite smile. They were incredibly accommodating to our busy family with children, and the stay was excellent. The toiletries were L'Occitane, and they even included laundry detergent, which was a thoughtful touch. Breakfast was simple, but clearly well thought out. The beef bone broth noodles were delicious—light and tasty, and the food was limited, but of excellent quality.
I thoroughly enjoyed my two-day stay and was a little reluctant to leave. 😆
There were some downsides: the rooms seemed to lack a refrigerator, and the Wi-Fi wasn't always the most reliable (perhaps due to the mountain location, but it was much better than the first one). These weren't significant issues, and I highly recommend it. 👍

The environment here is lovely! I happened to visit Jingdezhen when it was raining, and sitting in the room watching the rain was just perfect for an introvert like me. The hotel's back entrance connects directly to the Taoyangli Scenic Area, so I could wake up early and take photos in the completely empty area. After exploring, I went straight to breakfast. I've been to Jingdezhen many times, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time.

Very Good
LLaowanClean and hygienic, the boss is very enthusiastic, can park, can wash, slippers are generally in the four-star five-star hotel to appear in the proportion of high, the homestay has such hygiene and supplies is very good, the price is so close to the people, it is recommended to stay. Driving to the scenic spot for ten minutes, eating a street at the door.
MMarianaVWe were very welcomed by the boss here in this place!
The hotel is very clean and the breakfast is delicious.
They provide free shuttle to the valley and also serve dinner and lunch for a very good price.
We had dinner there when we arrived and the food was very tasty.
The boss and her family are very nice and friendly. They also help us get a shared car back to the train station.
I highly recommend this place!
Yyihonghu****We arrived at Huangling in the evening. The winding mountain road had no streetlights, and we became increasingly confused as we drove. Luckily, the landlady came out to wait for us at the parking spot, which gave us the courage to continue driving uphill. The landlady's service was excellent; despite her small stature, she was incredibly energetic, picking up our luggage and climbing the stairs – amazing! The hotel is located near the rice terrace cable car, making it very convenient to enter and exit the scenic area. The rooms were spacious, with balconies, and the bathrooms had separate shower and toilet areas with strong water pressure, making showering very comfortable. We also had lunch at the hotel; the portions were generous and the food was delicious. They even gave us mooncakes for the Mid-Autumn Festival – such a thoughtful gesture! They also gave us a bottle of rice wine before we left – so considerate! In conclusion, this hotel offered the best value for money. I would recommend it to my friends.
MM278890****The family room was very thoughtful, equipped with children's picture books and even a swing. My kids loved it! The room was also clean and hygienic, and the owner was very warm and welcoming. It also has a lovely small courtyard with beautiful scenery.
GGuest UserWe had a fantastic time and highly recommend this place for tourists (including foreign tourists). Nancy and the staff were so kind, helpful and friendly - they shared recommendations on where to visit. The food was absolutely delicious; we recommend ordering lunch and dinner there too. The room was lovely; the view from the balcony was stunning and very peaceful. We recommend hiring Master Yu as the driver; He drove us around the various villages (Wuyuan is his hometown, so he knows all the good places to visit). He is so thoughtful and took our picture many times! The afternoon tea was also very special. We had a wonderful trip!
GGuest UserThe room was spotless, and the bathroom even provided disposable bath towels. All the smart appliances could be conveniently voice-controlled using Xiaodu. However, the absolute highlight was the owner. He/She was incredibly kind and went above and beyond, even helping us with our luggage up and down the stairs. Their service was exceptionally patient and genuinely warm. We also had access to the guesthouse's electric vehicle for quick trips to and from Wangxian Valley scenic area, which was a huge time-saver compared to driving.
GGuest UserWhen visiting Wangxian Valley, this hotel is super close to the scenic area. The owner is really nice, and the hotel is very clean. It would be even better if they could offer breakfast in the future. I would definitely choose to stay here again if I come back to Wangxian Valley.
UUseràThe room was very nice and clean, and the accommodation is just a few minutes' drive from the entrance to the scenic area. There are plenty of restaurants along the same street as the property.
The only downside was that from 5:00 AM on there was a lot of noise and people talking in the stairwell and at the reception.
YYuenWe came for a biking holiday. We stayed 4 nights. We left every morning on a different biking route. Lots of roads and villages.
We each had a guest room. I was disappointed that I had the smallest room but they thought I wanted to be on the same floor as my friends. They moved me to the 2nd floor and now I had the same HUGE place as my friends. In the sitting room, is an L-shaped couch. It pulls out as a bed. So I guess this room could fit up to 4 people. The shower is huge. There is plenty of space to wash our bikes. The sauna/hot air thing was great for drying our clothes too!
Had we been more people, we probably would have rented one of the bigger places and shared instead of getting our own guest rooms.
It's fairly quiet. Breakfast was served in a separate traditional building. Normal Chinese breakfast, but asked for the noodles with the fried eggs! The kitchen staff were very accommodating when we asked if we could have breakfast at 7 am. Also, we asked for a late check-out because we wanted to shower after our ride. They let each of us have our rooms till 4pm at no charge. It would be great if the stone tiles could be power washed as it was quite slippery when it rained.
I didn't have my driver's license but I needed to go pick up my friend and his broken bike. So I went back to ask the manager if he could drive our car 35 km to pick up my friend. He was happy to drive me!
The sign to the guest house was not installed but if you look for the castle-like building, you'll find it. It was tricky getting to the hotel because we arrived late and it was absolutely chucking down with rain.
This is a great, gorgeous place if you want peace and quiet. My room had a river view. Great for relaxation. Highly recommend this place.
