The hotel is right by a forest, so the air is super fresh. It's just a few minutes' drive from the North Gate of Changbai Mountain Scenic Area. They even have a dedicated shuttle service to the scenic area, which is really convenient. Everyone at the hotel, from the owner to the staff, is very welcoming and helpful. Especially the big brother who drove us to the scenic area – he kept reminding us about safety precautions for Changbai Mountain on the way, which was very thoughtful! 👍

This stay exceeded my expectations, and I have to give this hotel a 5-star rating! I especially want to highlight the service and hardware facilities. The front desk staff were very patient during check-in, the process was smooth, and they proactively introduced the hotel amenities and local travel tips. Every staff member we met along the way greeted us warmly, and requests were handled very quickly. The butler was attentive and thoughtful, helping us coordinate solutions while striking the perfect balance without being overly intrusive—it made us feel comfortable and relaxed. The guest room was exceptionally well-maintained, spacious, and meticulously clean. The bedding was soft and clean, the soundproofing was great, and we had a very peaceful sleep at night. The bathroom had stable water pressure, and the toiletries were of high quality. The public areas were kept very tidy, and the breakfast offered a rich variety with fantastic flavors. Overall, it lacks the flashy feel of over-marketing; it's a genuinely high-quality vacation experience. Solid hardware, heartwarming service, and thoughtful touches everywhere. It's perfect for both leisure getaways and short trips. Highly recommended! I will definitely choose to stay here again next time and look forward to my next visit.

We chose to stay at this hotel again on our return trip because we had such a great experience during our first visit. This time we stayed in a different room, and once again we were very impressed. The room was clean, modern, stylish, and very comfortable. We especially loved the smart features: the automatic curtains, beautiful lighting, and the intelligent toilet with automatic flushing and a heated seat. Everything felt modern and well designed. The room also included complimentary bottled water, a kettle, tea, shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and many other useful amenities, so there was no need to buy anything extra. This room also had a refrigerator, which was very convenient and something we really appreciated. Another nice bonus was the free drinks at the reception. Guests can enjoy coffee, milk tea, and orange juice at no extra cost, which is a thoughtful touch. We would especially like to thank the receptionist. She was incredibly kind and helpful. We needed a European power adapter, and she immediately lent us one. Thanks to her help, we were able to charge our phones, and we are very grateful for her excellent service. The only small issue was that the room only had Chinese power outlets and did not have a built-in USB-C charging port like the room we stayed in previously. Without the adapter from the reception, charging modern devices would have been difficult. If you are traveling from another country, we recommend bringing a universal travel adapter just in case. Overall, we had another wonderful stay. This hotel offers excellent value for money, outstanding cleanliness, modern facilities, and genuinely friendly service. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Yanji.

This B&B is just a few minutes' drive from the North Slope visitor center. It's quiet, elegant, clean, and hygienic. The owner's detailed pick-up instructions were a lifesaver for someone like me who's terrible with directions. The owner is warm and thoughtful, with both the meticulousness and cleanliness you'd expect from Korean style, and the straightforward, hearty nature of a Northeastern guy. Friends, if you're coming to Changbai Mountain, choose this B&B! It's like a cup of coffee after a long day, warming your hands, refreshing your spirit, and softening time itself.

I had a great time in Yánjí since I planned a lot of border excursions. I can speak both Korean and Chinese comfortably to navigate this region, which is also known as the Third Korea. The location of this place was great since it was in the city center across from Yanji University. (I was assigned room 1206.) I'm not sure which photos they're using for advertising, but my room looked far more beat up and outdated. I also killed a lot of small cockroaches that were roaming around the kitchenette area. Again, this was not a big deal for me since they weren't ginormous, but one huge cockroach did appear one day near the bathroom. It's one thing for the room to look somewhat different from the advertised photos, but please at least keep the space much cleaner. (The laundry machine was bonus, but I had to buy laundry soap next door at the convenience store. This should have been provided considering there was an empty soap box on the floor next to the machine.) The reason why I booked this place was to do frequent laundry rather than stay at a hotel... I traveled from NYC, so it wasn't like I was an average Chinese tourist from a domestic region. This was my first visit to China since 1996.05 and I used my 10-year China visa for the first time since I applied back in 2017.08. Note: I checked out the other rooms on the floor and they were much nicer than what I booked. I'm guessing those were listed on WeChat and the less attractive rooms are listed on here, etc. After I checked out by 12:00 noon, I stored my luggage next door at the convenience store for a few hours. They charged CN¥5/per hour… I paid CN¥15 since I knew 3 hours was all I needed before my flight.

Here’This resort hotel was the most satisfying stay of our entire 8-day China trip across Harbin, Changbaishan, Xuexiang, and Yabuli. We stayed in a family residence unit, which allowed all of us to live together comfortably under one household. The resort is extremely clean and well-maintained. Our unit even included a mahjong table and a private hot spring, which made the stay very enjoyable. Although the price is not cheap, it is definitely worth the money. The butler service was excellent — the staff were attentive and always did their best to accommodate our requests. Highly recommended. I’m confident you will have a pleasant and memorable stay here.

What an absolutely mind-blowing experience! 🤩🤩🤩 The brown, standalone three-story cabin had a wonderful, textured feel, and the interior space was unique and exquisite. The east-west orientation perfectly captured the morning glow and evening sunset. Facing west towards the mountains, there was an amazing floor-to-ceiling window, perfect for photos, with a sofa, floor cushions, and even a DIY craft area where you could make sachets and fridge magnets. The materials were even hand-picked by the owner from the forest (and that evening, I had a deep conversation with a fellow traveler I met, and we even exchanged some materials!). Outside in the courtyard, there were lounge chairs, a swing, a pond, and a private, leafy path leading to the pool-north distribution center (highly recommend the location – it's incredibly convenient, a 5-minute walk to the distribution center, and outside there's the Erdao Baihe river, with a less-crowded, beautiful waterside platform under the bridge). The landscaping was meticulously designed and picture-perfect, and I heard it changes with the seasons – in winter, there are Christmas trees and a fireplace. On the east side, there's a dining area with a very bright view and a comfortable, high-quality lounge chair. In the middle, there's a small bar (I must strongly recommend the complimentary afternoon tea – it's incredibly delicious 😋😋😋, with different cakes, fruits, and drinks every day, both beautiful and tasty!). Then, you take the spiral staircase up to the room (the super enthusiastic staff member even offered to help carry up two large suitcases 😭😭😭). The room was on the third floor, facing east, and had a scenic bathtub (after a cold day on the mountain, a hot bath is desperately needed for relaxation 😭😭😭 – and the best part is you don't have to go out and fight for space!). The room was very new, exceptionally clean, and quite spacious. The attention to detail was excellent, with mouthwash, makeup remover wipes, compressed towels, and toilet/bathtub covers all provided – making it very convenient and comfortable. 😍😍😍 And then there were the incredibly, incredibly nice staff! The owner seems like a young woman who absolutely loves life, coming from the south to Changbai Mountain to run this small but exquisite guesthouse. In her free time, she even goes foraging in the forest in autumn and creates many creative handmade ornaments (this is truly the life I aspire to!). She was also incredibly enthusiastic; when she heard we wanted to collect pine resin in the forest, she even gave us a spoon! 🥰🥰🥰 Although I didn't meet the boss, he also seems very nice. As someone from Tianjin, seeing the Tianjin 'Little Eight Delicacies' on the table right when I walked in was genuinely touching. The staff, both male and female, were all incredibly kind. Everyone was thoughtful and patient, helping us plan our itinerary and recommending restaurants. Perhaps we just clicked, but before we left, the guesthouse even gave us a small farewell gift! 🤩🤩🤩 I was truly overjoyed. Coming to Changbai Mountain during the National Day holiday, the autumn colors were in full swing. Even though we didn't make it up to Tianchi, experiencing the slow life in a small guesthouse in town, away from the crowds, was fantastic. And the value for money was unbeatable. I've stayed in many good hotels and guesthouses, but this place is truly a hidden gem, combining human warmth with excellent hardware design. Staying here made me feel incredibly lucky! 😋😋😋

Overall, we had a great stay despite a small hiccup with the pickup due to hotel staff turnover and miscommunication. The hotel room was amazing and super well designed with great amenities, it was undoubtedly the best accommodation we had during our 2 weeks in Dongbei. Even though we didn’t book breakfast, the boss gave us free breakfast to comepensate for the poor experience we had with the pickup from the high speed rail (I would strongly recommend giving them a call to confirm the pickup rather than communicating through WeChat). The breakfast was super tasty and has lots of different side dishes (not saying this because it’s free lol), would definitely recommend. We were there during NYE and NY, and seems like people in the neighbourhood really liked fireworks. We probably saw fireworks 8 -9 times during our 3 days stay (including one from our host), super lucky! The local restaurant the host recommended was very tasty as well (not touristy so be prepared for a raw experience), food was great and fried eggs is a must try. The only issue with staying in this area was transport if you don’t have a driver for your stay in Changbaishan (which is a well known issue for all hotels in this area). Getting a cab took about an hour… after constant failing, the boss was so nice that she tried to call all her friends to see if they were available to drive us to the restaurant and we got there at the end!!!! 谢谢老板和老板娘的烟花还有小礼物，我们玩得特别开心！

How can you visit Yanji without experiencing a princess photoshoot? Choosing Xueting Songluan Pavilion was a very wise decision. The guesthouse's location is excellent, just a five-minute walk from the Folk Village, which is incredibly convenient. The guesthouse also provides several sets of Hanbok for guests to use for photos. The guesthouse service is also very thoughtful. They helped with luggage, provided fresh fruit daily, offered a choice of three set breakfast menus, and even gave us Häagen-Dazs ice cream. The cleanliness was also very satisfying; they cleaned daily and replenished daily necessities. All in all, I was very pleased with every aspect!

After the Mid-Autumn Festival here, the moon cakes were very sweet, and I saw the fireworks, and the surrounding scenery was beautiful. I brought my parents to live for 3 days and the whole family was very satisfied! In the homestay, quiet in the middle of noisy, there is a small yard at the door, and a small vegetable garden planted by the boss himself. It is very warm and clean. My parents can drink tea and sunbathe there every morning. The boss was very patient and helped us plan a slow tour route that was not in a hurry. The location was simply excellent and it was very close to our attractions. The room is quiet, the layout is warm and distinctive, the furniture in the comfortable room is not sharp corners, the hot water is stable for 24 hours, and the water temperature is also suitable for elders. The hygiene is done carefully, and there is no dust in the depths of the wardrobe. My parents said that it is more comfortable than living at home! No matter the facilities, sanitation, environment, and service are impeccable in all aspects, it is simply the best choice for travel!
