Guest UserThis guesthouse came highly recommended, and I can see why! I initially expected a run-of-the-mill B&B, but I was absolutely blown away the moment I walked in. The lobby and courtyard feature a charming new Chinese style, complete with bluestone rockeries and the soothing sound of flowing springs. Its central location is fantastic; despite being right next to the bustling Furong Street and Qushui Pavilion, it boasts an incredibly quiet courtyard – truly an oasis of calm in the city. We stayed in a room with a private courtyard, and as soon as we entered, my child made a beeline for the swing chair and had a blast. The room itself was incredibly well-equipped: a comfortable king-sized bed, a large bathtub that my child loved splashing around in, and a shower with great water pressure. Everything was spotlessly clean, which was reassuring when traveling with a child. The staff at Courtyard No. 8 were exceptionally warm, attentive, and always ready to help, assisting us with our luggage and guiding us through the check-in process. We took so many beautiful photos in the courtyard during our stay. Absolutely fantastic!

Cher8888We were very impressed with our stay here. My child absolutely loved it! The location is excellent, very close to MixC and May Fourth Square, making it convenient for sightseeing, shopping, and dining. The staff were extremely helpful, friendly, and always willing to assist. The room was comfortable, and we had a wonderful experience overall. We highly recommend this place and would be happy to stay here again in the future. 😊

JuujuuHuThis is what the meaning of you get what you pay for. As little as the price can be, cannot have such high expectations on reason why you want the greatest of the great.
After reading reviews, many said location was convenient, assuming it would be on the main road but not, i didn't meant as in I felt unsafe, just wasn't what I was expecting (not a big deal). It's inside a building with other hotels. Waiting for the elevator was a nightmare, there was only 1 that goes up and then down, felt like 5min passed, but that's just an exaggeration. If you're in a hurry, make sure to set some time for the elevator run.
I came a bit early, and they accepted my early check in, which was lovely. The employees are very friendly, even giving tours to each new customers checking in. It's a small hostel, place was cleaned often, security was good. It's a bit funny to see the gym room right in the open of the entrance after check in. They had a shoe cabinet, so indoor was slipper only, I like that idea so the room doesn't smell like feet.
Bed was nice, love the shelving unit that can fit lots of stuff too. The lockers are nice, each installed with a rack, convenient to store lots of hangers, space is really big too, enough to fit a backpack in.
The issue I didn't like were the bathroom. I was very amazed yet confused on where do I store my clothes in the shower room, the only privacy being in tact was a curtain, it remains me of those Japanese onsen. Had to makeshift a space for my clothes and towel to be in the shower cubicle. Toilets reminds me of public toilets yet much cleaner and smells better. The sink to brush your teeth is very limited.
Being 4/5 for everything, meant that it wasn't an issue.
Everything was clean, service was great, you have everything you need, doesn't have to be top-tier. It was an experience for me and very budget friendly hotel.

Luck is super good, I booked the room when I met the peony flower, and I smelled the fragrance of flowers as soon as I entered the small courtyard. The design display of the small bridge and green plants in the yard is very comfortable; the service is very good, the front desk lady is very friendly and kind; Although the breakfast is not rich, it tastes very good. It is all based on breakfast to support my energy of walking up and down the mountain for 7 hours. The hotel environment is very quiet. The Red Gate mountaineering is also very close. It takes 18 minutes to get to the Red Gate ticket gate. It is equivalent to eating breakfast. Warm up; The comprehensive experience is super satisfied, I recommend everyone to come to the small courtyard in mid-April, it is really full of flowers in the garden ~

Guest UserOur stay at this hotel by Golden Beach was incredibly comfortable and pleasant. Its location offers excellent transport links and a wide range of amenities, making it super convenient for both getting around and settling in. The hotel boasts a fantastic spot right next to Golden Beach, allowing for an easy walk to the seaside – perfect for strolls and recreation. Getting around is a breeze with excellent transportation options; it's just a few minutes' walk to the metro station, which provides quick access to Qingdao's main urban area, the train station, night markets, and other attractions. Multiple bus routes stop right outside, and there's free parking for those driving, making it stress-free whether you're using public transport or your own car. The surrounding area is well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, ensuring a high level of comfort for residents. Downstairs, you'll find a variety of seafood restaurants, specialty snack shops, 24-hour convenience stores, and fruit shops, so you don't have to go far for daily meals or snacks. It's also close to a large commercial plaza and a seafood market, providing a one-stop solution for shopping, dining, and leisure, and making it very convenient to pick up daily necessities. The hotel itself offers comprehensive basic facilities, including laundry and luggage storage, meeting all daily living needs. The overall atmosphere is very vibrant, allowing you to take care of all your food, clothing, housing, and transportation needs without having to rush around. It's highly recommended for family trips and short getaways, offering great value for money.

Guest UserThe location is fantastic, just about 100 meters diagonally opposite the church on top. This is Villa Anna, and the owner was lovely, allowing us to check in early. The guesthouse itself has also been recently renovated. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay. It's not far from Metro Lines 1, 3, and 4, and you can even walk to Signal Hill and Zhanqiao Pier. It’s also great for eating out, taking photos, and exploring the surrounding commercial areas.

The location is excellent, the transportation is convenient, and it is convenient to travel. There are many parking spaces in the parking lot at the door. There is light music at the front desk, which is very nice. The room type is very good, the layout is reasonable, the bathroom is super large, clean and hygienic, and the mattress is very comfortable. Highly recommended.

Location: The location is fantastic! Right on the beach, and you can see the coastline from your room. With a metro station and a mall nearby, it's definitely the top choice for location.
Service: The young lady who hosted us at this B&B was really nice and proactively asked if we needed anything.
Cleanliness: Overall, it's quite good for a B&B. The room felt very cozy. If you're traveling with kids and concerned about hygiene, you might want to bring your own disposable duvet cover.
Value for Money: I stayed here on May 1st and 2nd and compared several rooms along the coastline. I believe this is the best value for money option closest to the sea. Being so close to the ocean at a reasonable price was great – when my child's clothes got wet, we could just head straight back to change.

I think the location of this affordable hotel is excellent, the seashore is close (with the beaches), the metro station and the skyscrapers are nearby, the market is just there to buy food including vegetables and fruits.
I read reviews that claim it's in a bad neighborhood. Not at all. What I saw is that the first building of the street is half abandoned nobody cleans that part of the street and that gives a bad impression. But you can just walk on the other side of the road.
This is the first time that I had a room, not only a bed. I booked a room without a window but the receptionist lady gave me a single room with window.
The room is normal (see photos), there was a mosquito net on the window.
The pillow was hard but it was good to my spine.
The toilet / bathroom was a mixture of a modern toilet and a traditional toilet you can clean up yourself using shower or little bowl.
There was cleaning everyday.
There was a kettle to boil water. I got a very big thermos bottle 2L to store the hot water.
It's easy to find the hotel because there's street number too and many photos show the hotel in reviews.
If the hotel is full the toilet / bathroom can be occupied but there's a park with large plastic flowers on the way to the sea where there's a new large toilet (see photo).
You can use that too.
