Staying at this hotel in Lhasa, I really want to recommend it to all my girlfriends! The location is absolutely amazing, super close to Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Street, all within walking distance ✨. It used to be the old Nepalese Consulate, so it naturally has a 400-year historical vibe. The courtyard is perfect for taking photos in ******* outfits! They offer a free ******* outfit experience + 10 free travel photos, and you can even get a direct view of the Potala Palace from the third-floor terrace! The rooms come standard with an oxygen generator and humidifier. The little basket by the bed even has face masks and makeup remover wipes – a dream come true for anyone who loves attention to detail 🥹. Upon check-in, they present you with a Hada (a traditional ******* silk scarf) and serve sweet tea. You can also experience tsampa making for free, making the check-in experience absolutely fantastic!

This youth travel is really pleasantly surprised. As soon as you enter the door, you will be wrapped in a warm atmosphere. The public areas are arranged in a stylish manner. Everyone sits together and chats and plays games, and is as lively and comfortable as a small family. The food is also very good, the breakfast is rich, the local specialty snacks are authentic, and I eat every day. The room and public restrooms are spotless, the bedding is clean and tidy, and it is particularly safe to live. The boss and staff are super enthusiastic, will take the initiative to share the surrounding play guides, and also help us solve various small problems. Staying here for a few days, not only feel the convenience, but also harvest the full warmth, it is definitely the first choice for accommodation here, has been recommended to friends in the same group!

Beautiful hotel that still preserves its historical architecture with modern luxuries. We enjoyed the heated floor (it's so comfortable to walk around) and the oxygen machine (a lifesaver when we just reached Lhasa!). Special thanks to Guest Service staff - 次塔 for coordinating breakfast and housekeeping with us throughout our stay, and for helping to safekeep our forgotten item when we checked out! Her warm hospitality helped us ease into the high altitude environment more easily! Oh and don't forget to try the Indian restaurant within the hotel - it's extremely delicious and the price is affordable! We hope to return soon!

Owner are very friendly & helpful to provide extra service to support my beautiful experience. When the couple is so kind to suggest the best available way to go to airport & make me save money. At the same time the suggestion me to go one hot spring which to me is an unforgettable memory. Before I left, they gave me gift (unscented sticks & post card is totally out of my expectation. Helping me to carry my luggage’s are completely 5 stars hotel experience….hehe….🥰 I felt the whole hospitality is so wonderful & unforgettable to be. So grateful for the owners & met beautiful people there too. 🙏🌹🥰

This Lhasa trip led me to an incredibly pleasant surprise: a hidden gem of a Tibetan-style hotel. It was a perfect, flawless experience! The moment I walked in, I was enveloped by a rich, authentic ******* atmosphere. Exquisite handcrafted ******* doors and windows, alongside handmade wool ******* rugs, complemented by the soothing aroma of ******* incense, created an elegant and solemn space brimming with ethnic beauty. The lobby was clean and refined, and every photo I took looked like it belonged in a magazine, offering a truly immersive experience of snowland ******* culture. The entire room was equipped with an oxygen concentrator, so there was absolutely no need to worry about altitude sickness upon arriving at the plateau, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The bedding was soft and gentle on the skin, the bathroom was clean and odor-free, and the 24-hour hot water supply was stable and ample. A humidifier and comprehensive toiletries were all provided. This hotel perfectly blends traditional ******* elegance with modern, high-end comfort, balancing both aesthetics and practicality.

This quaint Tibetan-style hotel is located just inside Barkhor Street. It is very convenient to the Jokhang Temple and the Potala Palace. There are also many delicious shops nearby. The proprietress is very welcoming. I originally booked another hotel, but because it couldn't accommodate people from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, I changed to this Babao Hotel, and I was very satisfied with the result.

Love the overall vibe of this place (I upgraded my room to Mountain View later on and it’s so good). There is also some sound-proof mechanism in the room and I was able to sleep so well ! (much better than when I was in Lhasa despite the increase in altitude). I was able to have great sleep and naps that prepped me very well for the day’s exploration and hiking. 非常喜欢民宿和房间的整体氛围（后来我升级到了山景房，太棒了）。房墙里还有一些隔音装置，加上这边都是山包围着的；很感谢能让我在海拔高的地方睡得这么好（比两天前在拉萨时好多了）。睡得好，自然进入很好的状态，上山徒步起来很舒服。 Now I know when I visit here again, there is a very comfortable place to stay (am planning to invite friends from Singapore over next year ::) Huge kudos to Mr Doje for bringing this place into existence in the Himalayas and organizing stargazing event every night. Hotel location is very good, it is convenient to take a taxi from the road. The decoration is also beautiful and distinctive. I didn’t expect that there is an elevator that is very comfortable. The room is also clean and furnished with Tibetan characteristics. I think there is one thing to pay attention to. The floor is not very good. There is a section of the floor (in the scope of the bed) that is made of thick wooden boards. I think it is a natural feeling. Suspense is good, but maybe due to the cost, these boards are very rough and there are a lot of nails left on them. If you like to walk barefoot, you may step on this. Some nails (the tip of the nail is in the eye, so it may be uncomfortable to step on the middle). These manipulating boards I don't know if barefoot will be a thorn. I suggest that the hotel pour a thin layer of transparent glue on these wood. I have seen other hotels do it with this women's toilet. This looks still very primitive, but there is a certain guarantee for customers. I believe the cost will not be expensive because it is only a small range. The main thing is more safe.

It's great to have a rest here! Although this community is far from the Potala Palace, it is very quiet here, and it is close to the Wencheng Princess Theatre. After watching the Qing performance, you can come back to rest soon. The room was clean, fresh and comfortable, the best place I have ever lived here! In addition, the staff and boss here are very good, they will be enthusiastic to help me, fortunately, if they have the opportunity, I will still want to live here.
