Homestays in Hessen, Germany

I have a little story when checking. But finnal get help from the staff and check in successful. This is NOT a hotel , there is no reception.

Von außen wirkt das Hotel sehr einladend: ein stolzes Gebäude mit altem frankfurterischem Charme. Auch innen hat es durchaus Atmosphäre, fast schon etwas Antikes, mit großen Zimmern und Möbeln, die teilweise an die 50er-Jahre erinnern. Wer so etwas mag, findet hier vielleicht genau den richtigen Ort. Mein Zimmer lag allerdings im Souterrain, erreichbar über mehrere Ecken und einen etwas düsteren Vorraum. Das hatte zwar irgendwie seinen eigenen Charakter, wirkte aber insgesamt sehr alt. Das Badezimmer fühlte sich improvisiert an, fast wie bei einer Familienfeier neu tapeziert. Mein größter Kritikpunkt war jedoch das Bett: so alt wie die übrige Einrichtung, mit einfacher Federkonstruktion und viel zu weich. Für erholsamen Schlaf eher ungeeignet. Vielleicht liegt es auch daran, dass ich sonst eher moderne Business-Hotels gewohnt bin. Fazit: Wer nostalgischen Charme und antikes Flair sucht, ist hier richtig. Wer aber Wert auf modernen Komfort und guten Schlaf legt, sollte besser eine Alternative wählen.

The Apartment is cozy great with kitchen facilities you can cook if you want and there is a grocery store nearby called Penny’s and takeaway options. The rooms were very warm with heating facilities It is quiet and safe and very convenient to catch the tram to the main centre. You can also go for walks in the parks nearby I would stay here again.

This hotel is a bit like a homestay, WiFi is almost not received, the front desk is completely no one, let alone any service, the only advantage is that it is close to the exhibition hall.

This is my first time staying at a self-service hotel. The experience was very good. The room was very clean, there was a kitchen, the tableware was complete and cleaned, and it was placed in the cabinet drawer under the stove. Oil and salt are available. The dishes are in the cabinet above, enough for three people. The sponge and detergent for washing dishes are on the edge of the pool. There is a microwave and a refrigerator. We bought vegetables, fruits and eggs and put them in the refrigerator. It was enough to eat for many days without purchasing them every day, and we saved money for eating out. The bathroom was bright and clean, Germany was dry, the towels in the bathroom were there, and they were dry at night. The hotel is located in the city center and the traffic at the door is very convenient. We took the bus to William Highland Park. Next to the hotel is the supermarket, it is very convenient to buy some daily necessities. This hotel is suitable for free travellers in Germany.

On the return from the holidays in Denmark to South Germany we made in the Hotel Station. It means that the nearness of the motorway was the crucial criterion for us. Located in an industrial area, you are still busy in the city centre. The parking house has many pillars, but with a normal car is in order. The reception was friendly and we could check in despite the early arrival, which we very appreciated after a long journey. The rooms are OK and clean, the bathroom is modern. A second head kit and a refrigerator (cold drinks in summer!) were saved. The room is noisy so we were dining in the city in the evening. Breakfast for 19,- Euro is varied, But: On the terrace of the hotel you can smoke (we could smell that in our room, so the window stayed long) and the smell is directly pulled into the lobby, where breakfast (mostly uncovered food) is built. The smoking possibility is frequently used, the staff also smoke there. That is not possible. The variety of breakfast is large, but hot foods (egg, spice, sauce) are not kept very warm, so only laudderly or cold. The fruit and cakes remain uncovered, the fruit flys happy. :-( Here it needs to be improved, it's damaging about food. Here would be a lot of potential. Let plastic flowers, for that the tables are finely covered. Summa summarized: OK for one night, but no to come back. Smoking is a co-criterium for us.

Room very clean and our room cleaner Milena very friendly and helpful. This is the 3rd time staying here. This time, we booked the Suite L, and we like this layout and size. Also, only this category has a microwave.

The room was very clean and well equipped. I liked especially the balcony and the kitchen. I recommend it in any case and I will like to book again at limehome in other cities in Germany.
