AAkkarpanLocation, location, location! Mohammed and Mustafa and staff are lovely and the best thing about this is location. Also, AC is great and hot water in shower, all really good things. Splurge and get the balcony, because if you get the $15 room, it’s an inside room - read everything carefully. But the balcony gives you breakfast with the pyramids. A couple of doors over there is heaven‘s lounge which you can get beer and alcohol at which is lovely to spend the evenings at with wine under the pyramids. You will get nothing of that here. I do have a bit of a bone to pick with trip.com because they didn’t do their research as there is no restaurant, there is no bar and there is no pool or gym in this place, which is why I downgraded the amenities. However if you were going to Giza for the pyramids, this is the place. Yes it is right behind the camel and the horse staging area so from 8 o’clock in the morning till quitting time which is 4 o’clock in the afternoon, you will have the authentic experience. If you do not like trash, if you do not like dust, if you do not like smells, you should probably just not be coming to Egypt in general! Because it is everywhere. However, if you want the authentic experience at the base of the pyramids, this is the place. Oh, and the Internet is crap… So just make sure you have a really good cellular plan because it’s no better anywhere else in Egypt either. From our experience, and we have traveled everywhere, the left over British colonies just don’t have a really great Wi-Fi infrastructure.

ЕЕлена001The hotel is located right next to the entrance to the Giza plateau, which is its main advantage. We booked a more expensive room with a balcony and a pyramid view. While you can see the pyramids, there's a construction site directly below the windows. This spoils the entire view, and it's quite noisy from the ongoing construction work. The builders didn't even stop in the evenings. There's also a lot of noise transfer from neighbors – constant slamming doors and conversations. The room itself is far from new, and the towels are very worn out. There are no slippers, but toiletries are provided. There's a kettle (which gives off a plastic smell when boiling) and two cups (which looked like they hadn't been washed, with tea stains). A big disappointment was the hotel staff. We had planned to have dinner in the hotel's pyramid-view restaurant in the evening. When checking in, we asked if a reservation was needed and were told it wasn't, just to show up. However, we couldn't get in because the restaurant was fully booked by a large group. One of the hotel staff members kept shouting that everything was reserved and wouldn't let us sit down or even look at the menu. When we asked for five minutes to choose a dish for dinner, he just repeated the same thing and shooed us away. We ended up having dinner in our room, but this situation severely soured our impression of the hotel. I cannot recommend this hotel. If and when a new building is constructed in front of the hotel, it might completely lose any advantages it currently has.

Llucila Del Rosario RomeroStaying at Phoenix pyramids View it filled me with great joy to be in this hotel, and share with all its staff. And it's super cheap. The fresh, nutritious and very varied breakfast. Since before my arrival in Egypt, they were very careful that everything was fine. The service from the airport to the hotel was completely free. Then upon arrival, Mr. Hany gave me a small tour around the area and introduced me to his friends from other hotels and businesses around, who kindly and as a courtesy gift gave me fruits and water. In the morning an excellent breakfast with the spectacular view and unique of the great Pyramids. The tours they offer are different places and you can feel in this hotel like your home and with your family. Thank you d do o much to Mr Hany (from Human Resources management) Hossam (the driver) and all the people who is part of the staffs. Shukran jazilan. Hamdoullah! I hope to see all of you soon INCHALLAH 🪴🙏

MM45823****A great value small hotel! We only booked the most basic room for one night, but every staff member was warm and kind. The front desk was friendly, and as soon as we got out of the car, a young man helped us with our luggage to our room. At breakfast, the chef saw we were about to leave and specially brought us some freshly fried meatballs to try! The room also had bright 4000K lighting, and the toilets all had sealed strips. The air conditioning was brand new and very powerful. Although the overall space was small, it was cozy, clean, and tidy! From the hotel's terrace, you can see the Sphinx and the pyramids, and as soon as you open the hotel door, the ticket office is just 10 steps across the street (no exaggeration at all). Then you need to go to the main road, and a small kiosk further up is the entrance. Across the street from the hotel are KFC and Pizza Hut (the BBQ flavored thin-crust pizza was tasty). If there's anything to note, it's that small hotels near the pyramids generally have poor soundproofing. If you're a light sleeper, you might want to bring earplugs from your flight as a backup. However, my partner and I, who are average sleepers, only heard some noise before falling asleep at 9 PM and weren't woken up in the middle of the night. Also, many hotels in Egypt don't provide toiletries, so you'll need to bring your own portable toothbrush holder, toothbrush, and toothpaste. Compared to similar hotels, this one is highly, highly recommended overall!

TThomas LesterFriendly and professional guesthouse with an unbeatable location (see the rooftop terrace pics). This guesthouse also arranges excellent tours with English speaking drivers and guides at a reasonable price. They are also helpful getting to and from the airport. Overall, Mr. Sheriff and his family made me feel well cared for and helped me to have a very complete Egyptian experience. I cannot recommend them enough!

AAbadiSpursThis is probably the most affordable hotel in this area but the service is the best. The staff, Abdul Rahman was so helpful and his brothers too. They never stop smiling and always there to help you with anything. It is near to the entrance of the Pyramid , you might just need about 10-15 minutes walking. The hot water worked well. The room was tidy and looked new. I’d recommend this hotel 100%.

GGuest UserI booked the hotel due to the short distance to the pyramids and because of the nice view from the rooftop. Both is indeed good. The breakfast is nice as well though it is the same every day and it takes ages to get it. The rooms are either dark and without window or noisy due to the horning of the tuktuks and cars around. It was o.k. but next time I would choose another hotel.
