The room I had at the hotel was good value for money and clean. It was also very quiet at night time and, after a day out walking and seeing the sights of the old city, it was the perfect place to come back to and relax. There are buses just around the corner that link to the city centre, and the nearest Metro is not far. The shuttle service the hotel uses is very reliable. The hotel staff will either book up a transfer with them beforehand or customers can do it themselves from an easily located desk at the airport. I found the wi-fi in the room was quite fast and always usable.
Metropolis Budapest Boutique Hotel

Excellent location, short walk to the opera house, basilica, Parliament is not too far away. Budapest is a very walkable city and this location aids that. Loved the lobby decoration and the building itself. Room small but does the job. Bed is comfortable and I slept really well. Shower hot and good water pressure & wifi is fast. Room has a safe, kettle, water, towels etc. Tea but no coffee which is odd. The rooms have a theme, mine was Ferenc Puskas the famous football player. Service is incredibly friendly and helpful. No breakfast which is unfortunate. It can be tricky to find. Look for Metropolis sign on the building next to the door. Cost was £48

I wanted to spend three nights in this hotel with a friend. The location is well, but you save the prices of the hotels in the city centre. The reception was occupied 24/7, the question of a furnace was also answered quick, but it did not work properly. But just before we wanted to go to bed, we noticed a small cage on our bed, which we identified quite quickly as a bed chair. We were equipped with photos and went to the reception at night against 2Uhr, which also immediately excused several times and brought us into a new room immediately. The room was located in the neighborhood, where the entrance door was not closed. Paranoia we also spotted the new room for bed chairs and unfortunately found there. In the end, we didn't sleep all night. We checked out as quickly as possible the next day, one plus point: the two nights we actually booked were fully refunded (only in Bar and Forint). When checking out, we have also reported the second incident with bed shirts, but there did not seem to be any great interest in this information. Conclude: Not recommendable, please don't book here!!!
Three Corners Downtown Hotel

The hotel has an excellent location, very close to the cathedral and the river. There are restaurants on both sides of the road downstairs. The hotel facilities are relatively new, but the room is too small, and the two single beds are too small, making it difficult for fat people to turn over. The breakfast is good, especially there is a juicer to make your own juice.
The Magazine Hotel & Apartments

Downstairs to press the password, the first time to press the door Ling no response, finally the phone press wait for people directly downstairs to pick up. The elevator is very old, the hotel is on the 1/2 floor, generally not very tired to go up and down the stairs. There are attractions downstairs, and there are many bar, Cafe, Gelato, convenient to go to attractions. Air-conditioning is independent

And it was not a clue, but a lot of sounds, for example, continuous water from somewhere, and the bath was leaking what they had solved with a pump. You had to shower in the bathroom no problem but the leakage and the shower was always really hot and cold. Between not fine. The water of the leakage that went to the pot was again before the toilet. Not really handy. The breakfast was ready the day before, which makes the bread not really fresh but there we had a broad toast for the last to park before the door. Come on in time or there is no place.
