This accommodation is in the center of Kanazawa, very convenient to travel to any part of Kanazawa.
Just 5 mins walk to the Omicho Market, 7 mins to the Kanazawa park.
The lighting inside the accomodation is pretty fancy, room is super comfort.
But our room supposed to have a washing machine, but it is out of order and we need to use the common one, and it is always occupied by someone even they finish washing but not taking their clothes out...
All receptionists are very friendly, we had parking problems and they are super willing to help!
Will stay again in the future!
Words cannot describe how great this hotel is. The rooms are spacious and clean, the downstairs common area is beautiful, and the food available is stunning. But nothing even comes close to the hosts. They are such genuine and lovely people, easy to chat to and proud of what they have. My first night I was somewhat anxious but the host was so warm and welcoming, leading to us having some lovely conversations over a nice glass of beer. Even after I had forgotten to return my key after checkout, the host offered me to drive me back to the station in order to get the train. This didnt feel like typical service, it felt like pure genuine kindness and pride for a lovely business.
If you're in Kanazawa you'd be doing yourself a disservice by not going here. Even if you're not staying, swing by for lunch or one of their extensive range of teas.
It is one of the biggest ryokans we have visited with a lot of amenities. Guests are mostly Japanese..giving a family/retirement village vibes. Our room came with breakfast and dinner plan - food was delicious and very fresh! One thing to note when booking on Trip is that there are many room types available, but the pictures shown are not accurate!! When I booked my room, the pictures showed an in-room onsen tub-lookalike..and the room descriptions seem to support it too, along with the price. However, when I arrived, the room I was given was not like the pics at all..with no private tub/onsen in the room. We really wanted a private onsen to end our trip on a high, but we were left disappointed. Could not help but feel slightly cheated. We wanted to pay for an upgrade,to get one with in-room onsen but were told all were fully booked.:( so be careful when booking your desired room type.
Very neat and clean place. The host Bungo was patient and detailed, provided recommendations to sightseeing spots and even helped me to reserve a visit that needed pre booking. I like his thoughtful touch of bookmarking the restaurants on the map and sharing them with guests.
The location was roughly 15min by foot to the station but it could also depend on the weather. Western showers available all hours and a private Japanese bath in the evening and nighttime slot. Close to the Omicho market and the castle park.
I tend to be someone that leaves behind something every place I go and they helped me to stop that. Thank you Bungo and the family!
Family-style hotel, good service, good breakfast, easy to travel to various attractions, the surrounding streets taste, like the city of Kanazawa, tradition and modernity coexist.
Good location, convenient key transfer.
Near Santo, supermarket, good sushi, temples. To station 15 minutes walk.
The air conditioner ”works,” but the temperature does not change.
The tatami are dirty, everything in a thick layer of dust.
The plums are all filled. The water in the bathroom goes very bad. (poured one bath all day).
Towels and shampoo are provided.
For the night two are fine. Thanks to the host anyway.
The large communal bath was comfortable with tatami mats. The cleaning was well done and the amenities were abundant.
The breakfast was also very good and the children were happy with the automatic pancake maker.
It is a hotel that I want to stay again.
I will also interrupt again as a reconstruction support.
Had a splendid stay. Although there was no parking, they suggested a nearby parking lot. Making it easy for us to take a 10 m walk to the station with plenty of food.
Was provided with very clear instructions on how to check in.
The rooms were very clean with nice furnishing. Tatami beds were very comfortable.
Maybe the only con is there are no elevators. So, if u have heavy luggages, bear in mind but they was a staff at the premise during our check in. He offered to help carry our luggages.

看看山看水看雲Very convenient location. Walk about 10' from the east exit of the Kanazawa station. Easy to find. The stairs are steep and the owner helped me to carry my luggage to the 1/F, where my bed was. When I was back at night, he showed me around and gave me the necessary details in person. Even asked me to take my shower earlier because the hostel that night was fully booked by marathon runners who were joining the race today (Oct 29). He helped me to clear my problems about the special traffic arrangements on the marathon day as well. What a helpful and friendly host!
The hostel is clean as well. Towels will be charged if needed.
EEinfachDillonThe hotel staff were very kind and welcoming, and we had no difficulties communicating in English. The hotel is situated in a beautiful area and has a convenient bus stop nearby. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable.
10/10 — I would definitely recommend!
カカレーのおじいさまI am a resident of the prefecture.
I used it after the drinking party.
Good location in front of Nomachi station.
The rooms are air-conditioned, but the shared spaces such as showers and toilets are not air-conditioned, so you will be sweaty when you check in or check out.
The price is cheap and I am satisfied overall ♪
Next time I will prepare well and want to stay.
CCHIU HANA little far from the station, 2km30min can be walked, is a Japanese-style old house, very tasteful, bathroom toilet only one, room available space is small, there are tableware kitchen utensils can be used, there is a microwave oven and oven water cooker, but also encountered three kind Taiwanese editors.
GGuest UserThe room layout is great for family trips; you can buy food, eat, and enjoy yourself there. It's super close to Kanazawa Station, and Omicho Market is right next door. Choosing to stay here was wonderful.
马马This is the kind of homestay where many people live together. There is only a separate space for three people, and the rest are public facilities. The hotel’s location is about 10-15 minutes away from the station. In a street full of restaurants, the convenience store is far away, but the izakaya next to it is very characteristic. There are more locals, the owner is very enthusiastic, and a large conch is also presented. . The owner of the hotel is very nice and enthusiastic, and patiently help us guide the way. It may be that we are used to living in an environment with a separate bathroom, but feel that the private space is too small and inconvenient. There is nothing in the room except the quilt. We are not used to it and can only go out and stroll around. If you don’t mind these, language communication is barrier-free, and those willing to interact with locals, you can choose here.
