Our sightseeing taxi driver seemed to misunderstand something. He saw the elevator sign and told us to go to the 3rd floor. Since we don't speak Korean, we went up without questioning. At the 3rd-floor front desk, I showed the lady my pre-printed reservation voucher (which had both English and Korean versions), but she didn't seem to understand it. She then called another colleague and talked for a long time. Luckily, the colleague on the phone spoke English. After a long discussion, we finally realized that we had already booked a room, but the 3rd floor was for couple rentals, and check-in should be done at the 4th-floor front desk. We then went up to the 4th floor and were able to check in smoothly. Upon entering the room, we felt a bit disappointed. We had high expectations because the photos looked so beautiful. Perhaps due to the camera angles, the room was smaller than we imagined, but still spacious enough for two people. It had a window with a sea view, and the cleanliness and hygiene were good. The hot and cold water dispenser was also convenient. Nearby is Anmok Coffee Street. On our check-out day, we stored our luggage at the 4th-floor front desk and went to find a coffee shop there. It was a bit challenging to find a seat with a sea view, though. There's also a famous fried chicken place nearby, but perhaps we're not used to cold fried chicken, as we found it quite ordinary. Anmok Coffee Street has a bus stop, making it convenient to travel to other parts of Gangneung.

Apartment was adjacent to a quiet park with no street noise. Kitchenette had all needed inclusions. Bed was comfortable. Air-conditioner is quiet. Refrigerator was adjacent to the bed and quite loud but could be turned off. If you want a sea view I recommend paying more for Sokcho Beach C or Le Collective (same owner and building) as all but the top floor at A+B is obscured by pine trees.

The glass table is low and the chairs are unique. There is an outside parking lot, so parking is easy. There is a convenience store and Norangtongdak on the first floor. You can call the first floor, get the room number by text, and just leave to check out. There is no toothpaste or rinse. The refrigerator is large and works well.

Overall, the condition is clean and there is a lighthouse beach nearby, so it seems like a good place to go. There is a parking fee, but you can park on the street nearby. I stayed on the 5th floor, and the wall was a view of the construction site, so it was actually nice! I recommend going outside to see the sky or the sea, and if you are sensitive to noise, wear earplugs and sleep. I didn't mind the noise from the accommodation itself, but I could hear the construction site noise from 8 in the morning, so it was a little annoying! And be sure to visit the coffee shop and burger place nearby! They are delicious. ㅎㅎㅎㅎ Have a nice trip! 👍

I had the best time at Gangneung Mulview Ocean View Spa Pension. The room was clean and the atmosphere was cozy, allowing me to rest comfortably. Above all, the ocean view was truly fantastic. The sea scenery visible through the window was so beautiful that I wanted to gaze at it all day long. The sunrise and night sea views were particularly impressive, and the photos turned out beautifully. Being able to see the sea while enjoying the spa made for an even more special experience. It is a quiet place perfect for healing, so I definitely want to visit again next time. I highly recommend this place as accommodation for a trip to Gangneung!

Great location, 15 min walk from Bus Terminal and buses to Seoraksan park, rooms facing sea and a small island, nice terrace, huge rooms with everything one can wish for. The only issue for me as a foreigner was that the pension catered only to Korean tourists as all signs were in Korean language that complicated finding the reception (it is in level 2, and you have to ring a bell to a room - likely before check-in time nobody will open). The owner, although a friendly lady, doesn't speak English and it took me long time to communicate my need to leave a backpack in the corridor before heading out for hike. I was offered to drop it in my room at once, which was super nice.

Self-service check-in and check-out were surprisingly convenient. The elevator was small and had only two elevators, but it wasn't a major inconvenience. Parking was convenient. It's right on the beach, with a view of Sokcho Ai, so the night view is beautiful. The interior was comfortable and clean, and everything was convenient. I forgot something in my room, but they helped me find it right away and sent a package for me, which was also appreciated.

The price per quality is not hotel strong point, we paid around 250 USD per night, which can only be attributed to hotel location as the rest is quite mediocre (both in terms of amenities and size of the room). Can be described as a basic 3 star city hotel with self check and check out. There are no coffee shops in the same building so you need to go outside if you want to get some nice coffee (or drink capsules coffee in the room). The check in time is 4 pm which is later than the standard time in South Korea. The view is good though.

The view was so pretty and emotional, so I was completely healed ㅎㅎ The boss is friendly and I am willing to come again next time I come to Gangneung ㅎㅎ !!
