After asking around in the past, I found that room rates in Luang Prabang are generally on the expensive side (compared to local prices). Although this hotel is not worth RMB 300 in China, considering the local conditions in Laos, it is considered to be in good condition, clean and tidy, with complete facilities (air conditioning). Be sure to remember your boss’s phone number or add him on WeChat! Because it is a B&B, there is no one at the front desk at night, so you have to contact the owner directly.

After seeing the reviews of this hotel on Xiaohongshu, I decisively booked this hotel, and it certainly lived up to my expectations. You feel at home and at home! On the day we arrived, the boss told us that he had a washing machine, free laundry, a drying platform to dry clothes, and a kitchen for cooking. He also introduced us to the morning market, night market and the time to participate in alms. In short, if you have any questions, the boss will help you. The boss is Chinese, so communication is very convenient for us who are not good at foreign languages. The exchange rate at his house is higher than exchanging money at the checkpoint or on the street. He also helped us rent a car to Xiguan Waterfall and the high-speed rail station. Try to help us save money on car rental. When we go to Xiguan Haobu, we rent a business car. The car can accommodate 7 guests. One car costs 70W kip. The boss helped us make an appointment for 6 people, which costs 12W per person. We also went to Dazhou on the way. I fed the elephants in the Elephant Garden, and went to the internet-famous Rice Field Coffee on the way back from Xiguan Waterfall. The location of his house is great. It's 1 to 2 minutes' walk from the river and 3 minutes' walk to participate in almsgiving. Get on a 40,000 kip minibus from the station, and the driver will drop you off at the roadside in front of his house. Don’t worry about not being able to find the hotel you booked when you go to Luang Prabang for the first time. The four of us are independent travelers who are all over 70 years old and are not good at foreign languages. It is very convenient to stay in his hotel in Luang Prabang. It is especially recommended for people who are not good at foreign languages and want to travel independently.

Great location right in the UNESCO heritage peninsula. Close to the night market, temples and most attractions you’ll want to see in Luang Prabang. This heritage house is well maintained and fully restored with modern amenities. Rooms are very clean, bed and linens are very comfortable, and overall there is a pleasant atmosphere . Nice view in the morning of the Mekong river from the dining area. Staff is friendly and helpful but still a bit junior and could use a bit more experience. Free access to two other hotels with swimming pool. Great place!

What a find! Away from the main street although easily walkable to the night market and bars and restaurants. Carefully prepared breakfasts which we both enjoyed. Rooms are large and individually decorated, cleaned daily. Really loved the beautiful decor. Service was excellent. Any query was answered fully and suggestions for activities and restaurants given if and when required. There was a lovely pool area with beds and chairs too. All in all I would thoroughly recommend this boutique hotel for families or couples.

Had a wonderful stay here -- it's a small, family run B&B-style hotel within easy walking distance from town. The rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated, although for a view you need to stay upstairs (downstairs rooms are a bit dark). Highlights included the friendly staff, amazing breakfast (which is included), free water (which was very helpful given the hot weather at this time of year) and efficient laundry service. They also kindly stored a bag of mine for two nights while I was out trekking on a tour. Would certainly stay again, it's a great deal for a wonderful hotel!

The facilities are a bit old, but it does not affect the use. The front desk brother service is very good, help us check the information and rent a motorcycle. The cost of renting a car for one day is 140000 Kipp. There are fans, air conditioning. Free tea and coffee on the terrace! The central location of the old city, next to the Mekong River, is convenient for travel. The first day to Luang Prabang is appropriate as a transition.

We spent 3 nights in this small hotel. The rooms are correct, clean but very spacious. The staff is very nice and despite the language barrier, try to satisfy us as best as possible. We have to order the evening if we want eggs. Otherwise we are a group of 12 people, the only on the hotel, and a certain lack of organisation despite the good will of the hotel. The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable. The hotel is located along a street, so a little noise but the location is interesting for walking, visiting etc.. correct stay

Quiet location outside of the main city, around 1.5 kilometres from the main town. The hotel doesn't show up on Google maps but it is where trip.com location shows. Staff don't speak much English apart from the nice lady who works in the morning she also makes breakfast, stayed 3 nights but had to book through hotel as with trip.com can only book 1 night. Would stay again. Thank you

Although the room is not big, it is very clean. There is also plenty of hot water for bathing. The boss can speak Chinese and is from Chaoshan, and he is also a social worker. If you have any questions, just ask the boss, he will know. This hotel is right by the river. When you go out, you can find many restaurants with beautiful scenery and sunset by the river. And it's very close to the palace, it only takes 5 minutes to walk. It is also behind Foreigner Street, so it is very convenient to go to the night market at night. His family also has a monkey. Maybe it was because he was naughty and was locked in a cage. There is also a public kitchen and washing machine that you can use.

There is a parking lot, the location is good, the facilities are old, but the environment is good. The boss is of Chinese descent. The most important thing is that he used to be the principal of the local Chinese school. There is no problem in Chinese communication. It is difficult to find Laotians with better Chinese in this place. People are very nice and helped me solve many specific problems. My son is still studying in China and my daughter is a beautiful stewardess. The family is friendly to the Chinese. The next time I come to Luang Prabang will choose to stay in their home.
