Homestays in Baa Atoll, Maldives

The hotel itself is beautiful clean, good rooms with everything necessary. To the beach 5-7 minutes of choosing.  All communications in the hotel via messages to Watts AP.  We lacked live communication. Tours are expensive compared to other islands. Also for food they collected 27% taxes in addition to the top accounts, such we have met at all for the first time in the hotel, although we were on 5 islands. But there will be nowhere to eat in addition to the hotel. The island itself is cool, on it only 4 gesta, on the beach we were alone.

This place is really good, clean, nice design. The Sri Lankan chef makes fantastic food. We had a bit of a misunderstanding with dinner as we had already paid through trip but it was cleared quickly. We used them to organize a whole day of snorkeling sadly we only saw a turle, due not being the season for mantas nor whale sharks. They took us to an empty island with white sand and crystal blue sea, it was lovely. I think the lunch could have been better but it was a great day. We also went night fishing, we only caught one fish but another couple caught four! Again it was nice being out in the seat night, we then went back to the hotel and the chef grilled the fish we caught! We were very happy with our stay!

Хозяева забирают с аэропорта на багги, это очегь милый вид траспорта. До отеля ехать очень близко. В отеле вам предоставят экскурсии на снорклинг со всем оборудованием. Завтрак - шведский стол, выбор небольшой, но голодными мы не оставались. Не хватает полочек в ванной комнвте для шампуня и других принадлежностей. Уборка каждый день, бутылка воды - всё отлично. Бесплатно предоставили 2 велосипеда, мы отлично прокатились по острову, насобирали множество ракушек.

Очень отзывчивый персонал, помогают во всем, вкусно готовят. Бесплатный гольф кар до океана и по всему острову. Показывали крабов и кормление акул в порту. Хотелось бы выделить Ньювена и Сангета. Они большие молодцы!

I’ve been fortunate to travel to many islands in the Maldives, but Baa Sand Hotel on Kudarikilu completely stole my heart. It’s not your typical luxury resort—it’s better. Traveling solo, I usually stay low-key, but here, I found myself chatting with locals, joining a sunset fishing trip, and even hanging out with the parrots at reception (yes, they’re adorable!). The room was spacious, spotless, and surprisingly well-equipped—great water pressure, big comfy bed, strong Wi-Fi, and daily housekeeping that rivals big-name resorts. I also loved the rooftop space and the peaceful garden vibe around the pool. The island itself is small and quiet, with a couple of local shops for snacks and essentials, and a calm beach just a few minutes’ walk away. I swam with manta rays on a half-day trip organised by the hotel and watched baby turtles hatch right on the sand. It felt like a dream. But honestly? What makes this place special isn’t just the scenery—it’s the people. The Baa Sand team delivers something you don’t often find anymore: hospitality with heart.
