Came across this hotel through a random search, but must say it was a very successful search. The place is really well managed, the staff is really good and the way they treat the customers is commendable. We had a room on the bottom floor which was nice. Well connected to the main areas, within walking distance from all the main areas. The breakfast was great, views of the hot air balloons were worth every penny and the stay was amazing. If in Goreme, please do visit them.

We got a huge room with 4 beds for 2 people! the room was in a cave shape with a very big bathroom which was well equipped with the toiletries. We only used 1 of the beds but since there was only 1 chair, the extra beds were pretty useful. The Since our room was massive, it was located on the ground floor so we did not get a balcony but we did get a huge porch kind of thing with a motor bike parked in it which was pretty cool. For those living on upper floors, there is no lift so be prepared to carry your luggage up and down the stairs. That's the case for most hotels in Cappadocia since they are built in caves and inside mountains. Toiletries included soap, body wash, shampoo, hair dryer, towels, slippers, mat, toilet paper and warm water. There were about 3-4 different small terraces with different types of seating areas which were pretty cool for taking pictures. All the balloons are very well visible from the hotel terrace so you don't have to go anywhere else to see them. You can get a good view of the entire city since the hotel is on top of a mountain. There are only 10 rooms in the hotel so it's not very busy and you can get your own space pretty much anywhere in the property. It was like staying at your grandma's heritage property and made us feel very homely. The road outside the hotel is partially paved with a maximum of 2 car parking spaces and couple of scooters since the street is pretty narrow. Breakfast was Turkish platter with fruits, cheese, dips, cereals, breads, olives, French toast, tea, coffee, juice and water. We did not have dinner at the hotel so cant say anything about that. Overall the stay was pleasant because of the authentic cave room that we got as per our expectation. Disliked: The room had everything except for the tea, coffee, water and water kettle. These were only available on the roof top restaurant for free all day but not in the room so we had to climb 2 stories every time to get a cup of coffee or water. The first water bottle provided in the room is free after that you can have from the restaurant or buy your own. There was 1 tiny window in the very big room so most of the time it was pretty dark, even in the day. We had to switch on each and every lamp in the room. Although that's expected in a cave hotel but then there was no view as from the room. In general our stay was pleasant but we felt that we overpaid for what we got. We would be much happier with the same stay if it was a little cheaper. We are making this comparison with other hotels in Turkey with similar facilities.

The breakfast buffet was excellent, with a range of food including cereals, coffee, juices and all the ingredients of a Turkish breakfast. What’s more, is it’s served on the terrace on the roof, which has a spectacular view over the town. 100% recommended.

We recently stayed at place for two days and it was a very warm and a wonderful Experience !!! The Hotel is centrally located and its a 5-7 minute walk away from the market. The Breakfast was the best we had in whole of Turkey. All rooms are very unique and has its own comfort and warmth. We were given 2 rooms on the lower deck since we were travelling with senior Citizens. The staff's warmth and helpfulness made us feel at home. The owner Mr. Salim Demir was very helpful and saw through that we were very comfortable. A small suggestion to travelers that you can book your balloon ride with the hotel where they will give you a better price . Ride. On the whole a really very pleasant experience and would highly recommend a stay at this Hotel if you are planning to visit Cappadocia.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Horrid hotel with thieving employees. Several medications were stole when we were on an excursion. The meds could only be accessed by employees who did not return them resulting in a cost of $245 for replacement meds and doctors appointment. When I complained to the manager who repeatedly said “No problem” to which I assured him it was a problem. There was NO SAFE in the room as pictured for meds and passport. The room would be less than a 1 star in the US. Most things in the room were either broken (bath fan, bath shelf, radiator, etc), missing (safe), wrong scale (lighting),etc. The staff would see us waiting in the lobby for assistance and ignore us standing out front the door smoking. Their English suddenly became almost zero when a problem occurred. RUN, DON’T STAY HERE.

Very responsive on WhatsApp. The hotel arranged transfers to and from the airport. Breakfast was amazing, blown away with the variety. The staff at breakfast are so lovely. Room - we stayed in the deluxe stone room. Wow, absolutely beautiful! The hotel has a terrace, perfect to relax and perfect views of the hot air balloons early mornings. Only down fall, I found the reception wasn’t open 24 hours. Morning of our hot air balloon ride I couldn’t find staff to enquire where our transfers were. Though transportation eventually arrived, it would have been nice if I could ask staff to enquire regarding the delay or whether we missed our pick up. Secondly, I had to ask for a receipt as proof of payment for all my excursions, which one staff seemed hesitant in issuing or wasn’t sure how to, after a bit of pressure I was provided with a receipt. Otherwise, staff have been superb and the hotel experience has been fabulous. We were provided with information regarding local ATM, recommended places to eat, how to navigate to certain places and provided tea when we asked, did wake up calls when requested. Thank you for accommodating me and my son, you made our stay very enjoyable. We wish all the staff the very best.

Not only is the hotel located in the best location in the city with amazing views and impeccably clean rooms it also comes with one of the best breakfasts Ive had at a hotel. The views you get tat this hotel are unparalleled. The hotels ambiance is to die for as it feels as if you are staying in a cave with all the amenities you could want. Besides the hotels amenities it is important to note the hotels staff. The hotels staff is one of the most professional and helpful people I have interacted with. Specially SERHAT, words cannot describe how helpful this man was. We arrived at the hotel with 0 plans. This man acted like our travel agent booked our whole trip for us. He was constantly in contact with us when things got canceled due to bad weather and would make adjustments for us to have something else to do that day. Just interacting with and getting the services from Serhat was worth the hotels rates, the rooms were just a plus. I cannot vouch more for this hotel, highly recommend to anyone considering visiting Capaddocia!

The room, bathroom is clean and smells fresh. It has windows so the fresh air came in ❤️ Breakfast is various, most important it’s delicious! Madam and her kids cooked it herself 🥰 feels like home The location is near to everywhere, to supermarket and cafes and to balloon ride places. The hotel itself has open rooftop which we can see the hot air balloon every morning, beautiful! I’m really impressed with the staff/owner, they’re really polite and kind to us foreigners 🥰 Thank you for your service. Hope we can back to your hotel someday ❤️

Breakfast had good variety, though hot food selection could be improved. Day2 served the exact same items as day1, so there is no day to day variety. Hot water wasn't coming out very well from the shower and the jacuzzi tub tap. On our checkout day, there was no hot water at all (did not bother asking reception as it was 1 hour to checkout). Water pressure was not strong enough for easy showering. On evening of day1 the jacuzzi jets were not working and the reception guy did not know how to fix it (day2 someone came to our room to flipped a switch to make it work). TV is only in living room, cannot view from the bed in a cave suite. I doubt I will return here if I come back to this area.

Travelling in Summer it’s nice to have air conditioning and a pool. When you’re in Cappadocia in summer it becomes a necessity! Cappa Cave Hotel has all that plus ensuite rooms, a shared deck with lounge and armchairs where you can strike up conversations with fellow travelers from round the world, breakfast with a breathtaking view over Goreme, a roof top deck to watch the balloons lift at sunrise and take in Goreme as it lights up like some magical kingdom at night. My favourite way to start the day (when not in a balloon) was to sit on the quiet deck with a cup of tea listening to the birds while watching the balloons float silently by. But even better than all that are the wonderful, kind staff who make you welcome and help you explore Goreme and Cappadocia. Sad to leave such a wonderful experience.

The most unforgettable experience in Cappadocia, the rooms are really primitive cave hotels, very distinctive, with heating and air conditioning. The owner Önder is very kind. He recommends different activities for us and makes reservations for us, from ATV to The hot air balloon and the red and green lines all sincerely provided his own opinions. Finally, we listened to his suggestions and it was true. The other line was boring. The hot air balloon needs to get up at 3 in the morning, and the boss thoughtfully prepared a blanket for us to fear that we would get up early the next morning. We need to go to Kayseri Airport at 4 in the morning on the third day. The boss also booked the express bus for us. I showed up at the door on time at 5:58. It was only 100 lire in a three-hour drive. We brought 4 large boxes, which were also transported free of charge. Every night we went back to prepare Turkish black tea for us to chat with us. The hotel is new, clean and run by family who were very nice. However, I did not know that this hotel has no air conditioning which is a must in August! I learned that some hotels in this area do not have air conditioning so we were hot until night time when it got cooler. The reception gave us a portable air conditioning unit but it was not enough. Another situation was with the WiFi was most of the time not available. Our room was nice and clean but it does not look like those very fancy rooms in the advertisement. I usually give good reviews, but the truth is that, based on the review comments I read, I thought this hotel to be something different. The hotel is pretty, new and clean, and the personnel is very attentive. it just does not have air conditioning or reliable WiFi. There is no safe to put away your valuables. In addition, they provide only breakfast, there is no dinner offered at night even to buy it.
