GGuest UserTremendous space & person! I arrived late (after 8pm) as a surprise for my Family Reunion & so after dinner. The caretaker met me kindly after I got into the door (clear & simple instructions were given) to help me to get my bearings, carry my 2 carryons to my room & lead me to my room. He also provided a cold bottle of water, MUCH appreciated! I found the place to be very clean, spacious & well-organized with simple instructions in the bathroom, kitchen & shared spaces. I appreciate the simplicity & cleanliness, while still giving me my space! TY again for this last-minute booking that turned into a true treasure for myself as an introvert needing space, cleanliness & simplicity. Mahalo & May ke Akua bless U always! Dawn

GGuest UserDespite arriving at night it was relatively easy to find the place! Very clean and spacious for 2 people. Though it doesn't have AC, being by the ocean meant nights were relatively cool. If you're wondering what the constant chirpy sounds that you'll hear in the area are they're coqui frogs!

煙煙燻紅鯡魚I went to Fern Forest Getaway after my visit to Volcano. It's kinda remote, and the road conditions are bad. But the landlord was quite friendly and showed us around the house. Facilities were quite old but expected as it's cheap. 4/5

GGuest UserThe hotel has no walls or wooden boards, it is just surrounded by anti-mosquito sand nets, and there are curtains around the bed. It's still a bit cold in January. The shower is outdoors, with a curtain, and it's a bit cold, so it's not convenient. The air in the forest is good and the chirping of insects is pleasant. Breakfast is very simple, bread, boiled eggs, and some fruit. I don’t like it a bit but I don’t feel full. The novelty is quite good, a bit like camping. Don't come with children, they are scared, and people here go to bed early and require quietness. The kids were bored and had to be quiet.

KKyleMeowMeowVery satisfied, the hostess is very enthusiastic, the breakfast is very delicious every day, the birds outside are very good, like living in the big forest, there is a feeling of beauty drama becoming a reality. GGuest UserVery warm homestay, good breakfast. The host and his wife were hospitable and introduced us to the food around us. Although they encountered bad weather, they still felt the enthusiasm of the host. Watching the sunset at the hotel was beautiful. The photos showed the sunset afterglow.

HharrymedTropical wooden cabin. Just a heads-up, it's a two-story building with no elevator. The facilities are very well-maintained, and the kitchen is great. The balcony is super comfortable, and the neighborhood is very quiet. At night, you'll hear frogs and insects, and during the day, birdsong. It's very close to the beach, just a 5-minute walk to get into the water. Be aware that there aren't many places to eat or drink nearby, so you'll need to stock up beforehand. If you plan to do laundry, make sure to get coins from the front desk upon arrival. The front desk closes after 5:30 PM. The owner is a very nice Vietnam War veteran. There's also a very friendly cat at the property. This place really gives you a taste of local life.

Found that the office is off at five o'clock
Late checkin needs to go to the office and call a customer service to tell you a password to get the room card
Anyway, it was resolved in the end
But there is still a little inconvenience for late checkin
The frangipani in the yard is very fragrant

チェックイン時間が８時を超えてしまいましたが、メールをしたら快く受け入れてくれました。
お部屋もとても広く清潔感がありました。
シャワーの水圧は少し弱かったですが暖かいお湯が出ました。ハワイ島にきたらまた泊まりたいと思います！

GGuest UserThis is a very distinctive homestay! A few minutes drive from the Volcano Park, the environment is quiet, away from the hustle and bustle, frogs and birds call, like living in the forest, the bed is very large and comfortable, and the sleep is very sweet!
