IIanThe hotel location is great, with the night market at the ground floor. The room is clean and cozy and the staff has been helpful. The only downside is there is no parking (and no complimentary) at the hotel. The recommended parking is an underground car park about 5 minutes walk from the hotel. However, I must say that the walk is a good way to feel the vibe of the city.

Excellent
GGuest UserWas a bit apprehensive from the outside as it didn't look very inviting, and was also called 大花 not 新大花 so I was worried I was at the wrong place. However, the room was fantastic with great facilities - couldn't really ask for anything better. There's construction work going on from 8am to 5pm, but there's a sign about it in reception and they will.give free earplugs. Ironically, apart from about 10 minutes of noise at 8am for 2 of the 3 days, it was quieter here than most other places I've stayed at. Apparently by next year, the lobby area will be completely redeveloped as well. Not mentioned on trip, but there's a covered walkway for almost all the 600m from Sankeng station, literally only the last 20m is outdoors. Perfect location for when it's raining! Only a couple of blocks from the night market, although the pedestrian crossings are annoying as the drivers get 2 minutes between each pedestrian cycle. Highly recommended!

Very Good
GGuest UserThe hotel is in a good location, you can walk to the famous night market but not too close where it is too busy. For a budget hotel this is a great option that includes breakfast. The Good: - Good Location - Check in was fast - Breakfast was simple but enough - Amazing water pressure in the shower (very impressive pressure) Not as good: - Room is small, just enough for a bed. I would not suggest to eat or do work in the room - Still using physical key (not a card) - The room does not lock when you close it, you have to use key to lock it Overall if you are on a budget this is a great option

BBokkie TruongA good, average city hotel for our 4 night stay. Our first room was on 4th floor, facing the harbour but low floors are behind another building with no light. We changed to a street facing, smaller room with a view. Harbour view rooms are on higher floors, and higher priced. Hotel is smart, clean and staff efficient. Breakfast is basic buffet with little variety. Nice freshly ground coffee.
Location is good for easy walk to Night Market, supermarkets or the bus/train station.
GGuest UserAlthough Beidu Hotel is not a novel hotel. But he maintains confidence and connotation like an old gentleman. The service staff is also professional. The room is cleaned very clean. Especially the toilet, many restaurants are clean because of the novelty. But Beidu's cleanliness is the efforts of the old staff. What makes me feel the best is his breakfast. There are not many breakfast options. Just a few hot dishes. Fried noodles. Fried rice noodles. Bread. Salad, but ah. It’s delicious. ~ We arrived at the restaurant near the end of the meal. There were some hot dishes (enough for our family to eat) But I heard the out-of-town waiter talk and say: green vegetables are left. Please cook some more vegetables in the kitchen (I didn't ask for it! But they took the initiative) and then added rape. Scrambled eggs. Cooked peanuts. And.. They are all delicious. That day I clipped all the dishes a little. Braised noodles wheel. Simmered noodles. Rice noodles. Fried noodles. There is really no gun. Just take the noodles wheel. If you cook the noodles yourself. After the bubble is opened, you squeeze with your hands. The oil that floats up will be so dark that you don’t dare to eat. But the noodles wheel in Beidu washes to no oil. Taste, and the brine is soft. Very delicious. Very careful master 👍👍
YYan_hkkHotel in the central district of Keelung right next to the night market! Friendly staff, big rooms, with clean sheets and a fully functional toilet/ shower room.
Just two caveats, that there are not many plugs around bedsides, and even though there is an easily found car park available for free, it is quite hard to drive into it as the roads are a bit too narrow around the entrance.

AAnonymous UserVery decent newly renovated hotel in Keelung. Though the lobby might appear old, the room was new, clean and big enough to open big luggage. Friendly receptionists who recommended us places to eat. About 5-7mins walk to night market and train station. Awesome place among many older and more expensive hotels.

CCarmen JMThe entrance of the hotel is located at a small alley, need to ask around at the shops if unable to locate it. Room is really tiny and small. But with this pricing, it is definitely what you get for what you pay. There is a mini fridge, a bathtub in the bathroom although space is very tiny. No elevator, use the stairs. Location is good, walking distance near to MiaoKou Night Market. Is acceptable for those who just want to have a hot shower and put up a night.

GGuest UserNot located close to the train station but certainly walkable. If it's raining which happens a lot I would take a taxi. The staff are friendly and helpful but english can be limited so use your google translate app. My room was a good size, clean and comfortable. Aircon and TV both worked fine. Bench to lay clothes etc with a chair to use as a work station. My bed had clean linens and afforded a comfirtable sleep. The bathroom had good hot water and pressure. Only 300m to the local night market. I was only here for one night but it was just continous light rain. There are umbrellas that you can borrow. Overall, I enjoyed my stay here.
