Mergangsan Hostels

We stayed in Good Karma for few days and all the staff been so friendly and always helpful. If you are adventurous they have fantastic selection of tours (great value for money). This hostel is placed in a great location! Very tidy and quirky interior! Especially second floor room!!! Loved it! There are nice restaurants around. Vegetarian restaurant “via via” (my personal favourite) Another one is Milos. If you have enough time explore more! if you need some clothes there are some local designer shops with very nice things (clothes, bags, zero waste things and etc.) if you need a massage, there are a selection down the street. For nightlife there is so many places to dance, drink and listen life music! If this hostel is fully booked I highly recommend Happy Buddha hostel, Enjoy!

One of the best toffu we have tried over here.dimsum are the best and we like there hospitality is rare you get.... great place to relax and have your meal and appetizers..... must visit this place if you are near by.... surely recommend this place...

The place is nice and cozy with a good atmosphere. However toilet is always wet and you're expected to step on it barefoot (or with shower slippers) if you're not prepared for it it can feel weird. There's hot water in the shower which is great though. Air conditioning is cold. No towels provided but there's soap.

The place is ethnic and natural, with outdoor bathrooms and shades of bamboo making bathing in the morning feel like returning to nature. the staff are friendly and very helpful. The internet is also good I can write and browse while enjoying my vacation in Jogja. The location is easy to find because it is on Prawirotaman 2 street opposite the Greenhost hotel.

It was really a very fun experience for a first time hostel. Super dear people what makes it extra fun and the location is top! In 3 minutes walk you've already reached bars and what really is a recommender is the restaurant Masama by Kamil. This was 10 minutes' walk from the hostel. Unfortunately there was no air conditioning in the rooms but there were enough fans.

Unser Aufenthalt war toll! Das Hostel ist sehr liebevoll gestaltet und die Besitzer sind sehr hilfsbereit und nett und haben uns bei allen Fragen und Schwierigkeiten zu Ausflügen und Weiterreise geholfen, was in Pandemiezeiten gar nicht so einfach war. Sie haben uns sogar zu einem Livemusikabend in einer Bar in der Nähe und zum Essen auf einen Streetfoodmarkt mitgenommen und alles erklärt und empfohlen! Wir hätten uns keinen besseren Service wünschen können! Da ist es dann auch nicht so schlimm wenn das Bad etwas alt ist, schließlich ist es ein Hostel!

Very good family trip and swimming pool Staff are very welcoming. The price of 0 is also good for my rich morning tea meal. The receptionist A***ia is particularly warm and very nice. She likes her very much. The location is not on the main road. You need to turn into a small alley.

Awesome room, spacious room, great hospitality room amenities well provided and overall we love it. Thank you Madina Inn. Will be back for sure when we visit Yogyakarta in the near future 😀😀
