Gran Evenia Bijao - All Inclusive

Installations must update them. We do not have a night lamp, nor a hair dryer, which we had to request. Some tiles on the balcony were cracked and the shower floor was stained. Very friendly staff, good food, however we could only access the buffet we could not visit other restaurants. Swimming pools, excellent beach. The lifeguards very pending and collaborators.

It started with the hotel transportation from the airport. I waited 2 hours to be picked up and they didn’t care when I asked multiple times. They ended up picking up other people first and then they wanted me to seat in the back with the other people’s kids when I had a knee brace. They said they would give me private transportation back and they lied, the ended up sending me with another lady. They gave me a room on the third floor when I am wearing a knee brace and they have no elevators, and refused to change when I requested. They gave me a room next to a children area when I am an adult traveling solo and most of the time the noise of the kids and people with families didn’t let me sleep. There is nothing included in the room, the fridge is empty. To get service in the dining room you have to basically follow the servers or serve yourself the coffee and drinks. One day in the bar of the lobby, a Colombian female was arguing with one of the bartenders because she wanted a drink past 11pm and they close at 11pm. The management of the hotel got in the bar and gave the woman the drink making the bartender look horrible when those are the rules of the hotel. There were some pools closed and the bars near the beach have only one bartender or two to give the drinks to all guests. In the restaurants I waited for almost an hour to receive my food cold. I do not think this is an all inclusive hotel. If I could give a zero I would. The people are rude and they don’t really care if you are enjoying your stay. I recommend that you go to any other hotel.

The hotel is beautiful, the service is ok. The beach isn't good, but the pools compensate. The restaurants are amazing, very very good! The bed and the pillows made me suffer the 2 nights!! Tried to relief the pain in the tube, but there was no hot water in it, only in the shower. Went to the spa, very good service and massage! If you are looking for a nice pool, good drinks, a very good spa and amazing food, is a place to go. But bring your pillow!!

The hotel lined up for checkin for an hour, which was too slow. My dissatisfaction is that the food is poor, I have no appetite when I see it, no seafood, no sushi, I'm sorry for the price, I'm sorry for the star rating, it's far worse than the riu next door
