Kayenta Monument Valley Inn
3.8/5123 Reviews
I needed a place for just one night and this place fit the bill. Facilities were modest -- older, no microwave or fridge in the room, no free coffee or breakfast in the lobby, etc. But WiFi worked well, inside doors, room was big, plenty of TV channels, and there were several fast food options nearby. There was only one person at the front desk so check-in took a few minutes, but not a big deal, and service was friendly. Some reviews were uneven, but it was a good value, -- better than a budget motel, and cost ~$40 less than other nearby options. If you do stay, there is a small but interesting Navajo Code Talker exhibit in the Burger King (yep, Burger King) about 1/2 mile away.
Wetherill Inn
3.9/540 Reviews
I was looking for a place to stay within reasonable driving distance of Monument Valley that was not one of the big hotel chains (and didn't have big-hotel-chain prices), and this inn fit the bill, without skimping on amenities. The room was attractive, comfortable and very clean. We could park right outside the door. The breakfast room offered hot foods, fruit, yogurt, etc. The staff was very gracious and helpful. We spent three nights there in October and the inn was full every night with guests from around the world, so I recommend making a reservation. The inn is not on Highway 160 with the other hotels. Head north through the town on Highway 163, the road to Monument Valley, and you’ll find it on the left. Kayenta is a small town, so driving to a restaurant for dinner is easy.
Hampton Inn Kayenta
4.2/5108 Reviews
The overall impression of the Hampton Inn is good. Because of staying at the Hampton Inn Brooklyn in the United States during Christmas 2018, although the star rating is not high, the hotel rooms are clean and tidy. However, this Hampton Inn Kaineta is still a bit worse than Brooklyn. The air conditioner sounds louder, and the air conditioner temperature switch does not show the temperature. It can only be adjusted by feeling. Breakfast is not as rich as the Hampton Inn Brooklyn. Regional economic development is related, after all, this place is incomparable with New York
