Good for one people stay caused it is not much space. Ameities can requested at reception. Location quite good can walk to Southern Cross station, Flinder Station or Town Hall station. For Uber, driver might drop you at the closest street, Flinder Lane. Easy walk just 1 mins but quite hard if you have 2 luggages.

Very clean, nice renovated rooms with all amenities including microwave. Very comfortable bed and pillows, plenty of luggage space. Coffee/tea/sugar and biscuits. Each room has it's own designated parking. Reception woman was very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend it and will definitely be staying again soon

This hostel is located in the CBD, very close to Southern Cross Station. It's an easy walk from the airport if you take the SkyBus. The beds are decent, and the common areas are okay. However, the toilets were a bit dirty. It would be better if the showers and toilets were in separate rooms.

I had a great stay at Melbourne City Backpackers. The location is perfect—just a short walk from Southern Cross Station, trams, and plenty of cafés and restaurants, which made getting around Melbourne really easy. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with recommendations or any questions. The hostel had a good social atmosphere without feeling like a party hostel, so it was easy to meet other travellers while still getting a good night’s sleep. The rooms and shared bathrooms were kept clean, and the free breakfast was a nice bonus. Overall, it’s great value for money, especially if you’re looking for a central place to stay in Melbourne. I’d definitely stay here again and would recommend it to other backpackers.

The service is very good and the location is nearby Ballarat Station. It takes about 20 walks to Sovereign Hill. And there are too many restaurants next to there, such as McDonald's, Pizza Hut, Chinese restaurant and Indian restaurant .

My husband was so happy to stay for one night. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The place was quite clean. The place is recommendable

I am extremely satisfied this time. The entire hostel with great location, the rooms, kitchen, and bathrooms—was perfectly clean. In particular, it's quite rare for hostels to have private bathrooms in the rooms, and they clean them every day. The beds also have their own power outlets and reading lights, and they are very spacious, so I slept really well throughout the whole trip. Everyone staying here is highly disciplined, maintaining a very quiet and peaceful environment at night. When a minor misunderstanding arose, the management responded and handled it immediately, which I truly appreciate. However, the training for the part-time staff could be slightly improved. A lovely, nice clean motel style accomodation. Very comfortable mattress. Great large tv. Clean bathrooms. Very nice manager. Great breakfast facilities and Grill restaurant. Very central location. I’d quite happily stay here again.

The location is good but other than that I would not call it a pleasant stay. Rooms and bathrooms are pretty dirty. They clean regularly but apparently not thoroughly. Power on my bunk did not work. The room has a 'temporary' AC which has collected dust like it has been there for a while already and it is unbearably loud. The exhaust air of this is routed to a closed window, therefore all the air stays in the room. Luckily I figured that out and opened the window the 2nd night but the AC still was loud. For $80 a night I do expect more.
