We were warmly welcomed by Yvan, whose friendliness, kindness and interest in getting to know us made us feel write at home. The pousada was a well-groomed colorful tropical garden, complete with Caio the parrot and monkeys. Denise created delicious homemade breakfasts of fruits, juice, coffee, eggs, crepes and cakes. She, also, was kind and hospitable. The pool is spotlessly clean and beautiful. Our rooms were comfortable, nicely decorated, clean and inviting, Yvan gave us great recommendations for restaurants with beautiful views, as well as activities that were enjoyable. Speaking in many languages, he made all his guests feel like family. What a wonderful place to stay! There are good restaurants within a couple of blocks and a beach right across the street. I highly recommend staying here while you’re in Paraty. It was beyond my expectations.

A very charming bed and breakfast. From th outside it doesnt look like much, but inside is a small peaceful oasis. One block from the beach and a 10 minute walk to the historical center. The rooms were well taken care of and extremely clean. The breakfast was a perfect mix of everything. The staff was super friendly and always ready to help or give suggestions about the city, restaurants, and excursions. You´ll be glad you stayed.

I was very afraid to host nm hostel in Rio, mainly because I was traveling alone for work presentation. The location is excellent, one of the best locations, excellent cleaning and service, good structure, there are many shops around, very close to the beach of Leme. I was welcomed in this establishment, only at the reception that could have more seats because it is full of what I saw.

The best location! Situated close to bars/restaurants/ beaches. Victor was super nice and accommodating. The suit on the group floor was comfortable but a bit noisy as it is behind reception; aside from that the breakfast was lovely and again location was everything.

The city tour offered by Daisy was amazing. She was very helpful, upbeat, friendly and eager to show us around. She was also taking care of us while walking around by giving us tips. At the end of the tour we had a group lunch and she was very helpful with the language barrier.

Well located, well organized, excellent service, the rooms are very tight, my had no ventilator and others had, this was missing during the day due to the difficulty of connecting the air conditioning. The cleaning was left to desire a little, the bed was dust and then the insight that I had made a while without a faxine.

The staff is so helpful and really care about their guests. They help you with everything. Especially ISABELLA was so nice to me, helped me scan some stuff. I presuaded it a lot! I think, it‘s a good place to base yourself in Rio. It‘s close to the beach and I never felt unsafe to walk around this area alone as a woman. There‘s enough space in kitchen area to meet new people. The rooms are a little narrow, but it‘s okay. Found everytime a free showe or bathroom and it‘s clean. The kitchen is not super equipped, but you have fridges and it‘s enough. Thank you, Solar Hostel😊

The place had everything to be top of the tops, but, lack of care, cleaning, the work of inclusion of people with psychological problems is wonderful and in fact had never seen anywhere else, the employees are educated, performing and very sympathetic, the lack of directing only, the breakfast unfortunately did not like, cold-served milk and few options and another point I considered the most serious, was that the pool is connected to the whole morning, I don't know if you forgot to have a connection or if it's a policy of the hostel to leave it like that, but it was hard to get to sleep. The hostel is very well located, has everything a little close, markets, restaurants, etc ... is just a tip for the owner, who better directs your time ...
