Spent about three months living in hostels in China and this one has been one of the best. The staff is really welcoming and trying to help you have a nice stay. Do ask them, and in particular Marco, about recommendations for places to eat and visit. There are farming lands at the back of the hostel and it’s really relaxing to just sit there for a while during the day or watch the sunrise in the morning. You can do your laundry for free using one of the many laundry machines on the rooftop and there is plenty of space to hang your clothes to dry. The hostel is in walking distance (15 minutes) to West street and along this road there are plenty of restaurants and shops. The best way however is to simply rent an electric scooter from the hostel and use it to explore the town and it’s surroundings. The vibe is really nice which makes it easy to make new friends and enjoy the time there together.

Great location, the place is well organized and clean. the owner is very kind and helpful providing directions about how to move around the city to explore the main attractions. they also offer home-made food which is more tasty than the one at the restaurant (in my opinion). I'd totally recommend this place and I'll stay here when I'm back in this beautiful city.

The location of the youth hostel is very good. There are a lot of delicious food nearby. It is within walking distance. I ate there for several days and enjoyed all the delicious food nearby. The room is very clean and tidy, the public area is spacious and comfortable, the boss is friendly and the service is attentive ~ highly recommended Facilities: It is a community residence, the location is easy to find, and it is very close to the train station. The hotel is next to the police station and feels safe. I just came to Yangshuo last month. The famous hotel booked is very close to this one. It is really obvious that the two comparisons before and after are still relatively obvious. The two rooms are on the fourth and fifth floors. The air conditioner remote control in the fourth floor room does not match the air conditioner, and the lock is broken. After negotiating with the boss, I changed a room. Thank you for your concern. The room on the fifth floor was thinking that someone would clean the room when I went out in the morning. I didn’t expect that after I came back, the room was still not cleaned, and no garbage was thrown away. I called the first floor and changed two garbage bags. I didn’t talk about making the bed. The towels in the bathroom have not been changed, which is really not like a famous hotel, not professional.

The hotel location is great. Located on a quiet street not so far from the famous “west street “. The rooms are okay but one of the rooms we booked the window couldn’t close well so the was mosquitoes and some insects.But there is construction on the first floor which was a little bit loud and annoying in the morning. The lady at the reception (Holly) helped us to find a car parking spot nearby as there was no parking spot at the hotel( it’s a very narrow street ). Overall the place is ok.
