Great stay. English widely used here and easy for foreigners to intermingle with Chinese guests and staff. Also super clean and central to all the good stuff in Xian.

I booked a bed in a 6-bed dormitory, with AC. The dormitory is large enough, so you do not feel packed at all. The bed is a bunk bed, large enough, with a fair enough good mattress. For this dorm and the hostel, you have access to 5 showers, 5 squat toilets, 4 sinks. All could be cleaner. The WiFi was good. The staff is nice and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place for a short or a long stay.

Stayed 5 nights in 4 person dorm room Expectation/Reality: this establishment exceeded expectations. Check in is ground floor and fairly easy to find and access. The room beds are good size and clean, there is lots of storage space for belongings and generally better than what was expected. The free laundry and detergent is a nice plus. Internet has good connection. Security: very secure, there is a lock to the door of the main room and a locker cubby for each guest, felt belongings where secure and in a safe area. Hygiene: generally very clean, in a four person room it is shared showers with only four people, and on slow season you might only share with one or two other people. The cleaners come consistently to clean and refile soap. Hospitality: staff was excellent and competent. Although it is a chain it felt like it is owner operated, check in was smooth, extending the stay was smooth and all additional information and assistance was timely and effective. Social Atmosphere: no scheduled events, but there is plenty of social and public space to meet people, generally good vibes. Overall: one of the best hostels in China so far having stayed in 5 different hostels in China in 5 different cities for over 20 nights. I would recommend and would stay again.

After staying at more than 30 hostels in Asia including China, I can definitely say that this is one of the best I have ever stayed! From the cleanliness to how they have incorporated small details that include a shelving in your dorm bed apart from the drawers that’s provided is just amazing! Best of all, the location is extremely convenient and the people working here are truly friendly and endeavours to assist with all your questions and concerns, great work! This place will definitely be my go to if I’m visiting Xi’an again!

I haven't lived in the Youth Hostel for many years. I have been to Xi'an several times, but they are all working. I have no chance to go shopping. After this work, I stayed for a few days and visited the relatively easy historical museum. I went to the Small Wild Goose Pagoda, Xi'an Museum, Guangren Temple, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Datang Everbright City. Really like the city of Xi'an. The historical and cultural heritage is too rich. The booked homestay was also very unexpected. I originally booked for a day, thinking about seeing what the situation was, and I was impressed as soon as I came in. I immediately continued to live in 😆 about 10 minutes walk from Xiaozhai subway station. It is not far from the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, you can walk to it, the young lady at the front desk is very gentle and polite, check-in is prepared with new bedding, at first glance, it is the kind of hotel washing method, ensuring hygiene. But you have to change the quilt cover pillowcase yourself 😉 and toothbrush face towels, which are really clean. The bed is a bunk bed, very strong, basically can't hear any sound, but stay in the Youth Hostel or prepare earplugs, friends who sleep poorly will inevitably feel the sound. It may be the off-season, there are relatively few passengers, and the peak season should be very busy. The large balcony of the living room in the public area just can see the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, but the smog in Xi'an is still a bit heavy. This is a newly opened youth travel in 2024. In short, it is really great. It is a very satisfying stay experience. I hope to keep my original intention and continue to work hard. 🫰

The hot water works fine in evening but there was no hot water in the morning. Some room located facing main road so if light sleeper it could be noisy but I was OK. Plenty of restaurants next door and a convenient store too. Bus to train station passes in front of hotel or ulyou can book a private car from hotel for RMB20.

From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the warm and welcoming staff who made me feel right at home. One of the first things that struck me about this hostel was how impeccably clean it is. The attention to cleanliness and hygiene is truly impressive, making it a comfortable and safe environment for all guests. The staff go above and beyond to ensure that the hostel is well-maintained at all times. The lobby area is a fantastic space where guests can eat, relax, and even watch TV. It's the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring the city. Additionally, the presence of a laundry area was a huge convenience for me, as it allowed me to freshen up my clothes during my stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable. I had a restful night's sleep each night thanks to the cozy beds and peaceful atmosphere. Overall, my experience at the hostel was nothing short of exceptional. The friendly and helpful staff, combined with the cleanliness and comfort of the facilities, truly set this place apart. This hostel has won me over, and I will definitely be returning on my next visit to the city.

We spend just one night here. The hostel is really nice and clean. In our room the heating was too high and the room too hot. We ask at the reception and the guy kindly moved us to another room. Really nice staff

first check in experience was fast and friendly. the family running it are helpful, the rooms are clean,everything works fine. the bed was comfy too. there a supermarket downstairs and more options just a few hundret meters east with more shops and restaurants. generally that location is a bit off, but convenient for taking the train. 2nd part of the checkin process was the police showing up, asking for my passport, as they were not familiar with my permanent resident card. the talk was done within five minutes, leaving them empty handed. this had nothing to do with the hotel, so I'd still recommend it if this location is on your route/you want to get to the nearby station.

The boss service is very good, very enthusiastic, patiently explained some precautions for hiking Huashan! The bed is still not recommended, there is no heating, the public toilet is relatively simple, it is recommended to stay in the standard room and the big bed room.
