Second stay. Clean, easy to find, cheaper shops and fruits markets bearby. More expensive IFC also nearby. 5 min to metro. Busy but convinient 春熙路. Cannot say that it's a problem. But beware. There are a lot of foreingers in the hotel. Could be not the most quiet place. Could be very noisy. But that not the hotel problem.

The room is very spacious, and the location is excellent, right next to Lushan Mountain, perfect for a hike. There are plenty of food options nearby, and you can also order takeout. I heard the guesthouse offers shared meals, but I didn't participate. The atmosphere was quite nice, with lots of chatting and laughter. There's a pool table on the third floor, but no one to play with me! 😂 Downstairs, there's a very cute blue cat. When I came back from Silver Beach in the afternoon, it was all alone, so I petted it, and it immediately became very friendly. When I sat down, it came closer and rubbed against me. ☺️ It even jumped onto the table and nuzzled my shoulder! 😀

The room was clean, and the decor had a neat, minimalist style. It looked even better than the pictures, which was a pleasant surprise! I extended my stay for a couple of extra days. It was also very quiet. There's a washing machine available and a rooftop area for drying clothes. The room was cleaned daily, and the disposable amenities were well-stocked. They provided lots of tips for nearby food and attractions, along with notes from other guests, which really added to the travel vibe. Very satisfied!

The hostel is conveniently located right at the entrance of Xinnanmen Station, Exit D. However, if you're carrying luggage, be aware that there's no escalator going down at this station, only one that goes up. The receptionist at the hotel spoke excellent English and was very friendly. She also gave me a cute panda keychain when I checked out. It was a lovely gesture! The single room I stayed in was spacious, modern, and very clean, providing a comfortable stay. The only downside was that to access the hostel, you need to take an elevator to the 5th floor, and unfortunately, the elevator is a bit shabby and has a musty smell. Despite that, everything else was great, and I highly recommend it, especially for solo female travelers!

You can tell this is a professional youth hostel. The common areas on the first and second floors are lively. It's segregated by gender on most floors, but on the 7th floor, where I stayed, there are both male and female dorms, and the restrooms and showers are separate for each gender. For the guys, there are two shower stalls, three sinks, two toilets, and two urinals – everything comes in pairs, but it's more than enough! 😄 The 20-bed male dorm had a bit of an odor. The lockers have shelves, so larger luggage won't fit, only small bags. The luggage area was quite messy; you could tell some of the clothes in the cardboard boxes had been there for a while and were quite dirty. However, the bedding was clean and comfortable! I thought a 20-bed dorm would encourage more interaction, but once everyone pulls their curtains, it feels completely isolated. I think a 10-bed dorm might even smell fresher (many guys wear their shoes into the room instead of using the shoe rack). The laundry room is just one floor up from the 7th floor, and the washing machines are very convenient.

The room was clean and tidy, and the owner was very welcoming and helpful. The Wi-Fi coverage was excellent throughout the property. The pets were all so playful and adorable! The surrounding facilities were very convenient, and the value for money was absolutely amazing. It was a super good deal!

The Chengdu branch (Store 2) is very close to Chunxi Road and IFS shopping mall, right by the Giant Panda landmark. It's also near the Chunxi Road D exit subway station, about an 850-meter walk. From the Chunxi Road D exit, you can also catch the airport shuttle directly to Tianfu Airport, which is super convenient. For the female 6-bed dorm, the downsides are: there's no full-length mirror or makeup mirror in the room at all. You have to go to the shared bathroom to do your makeup. The public showers and toilets are combined, with 3 of each. Also, I hope that if there's staff available, the cleaning auntie could collect trash from the rooms once in the afternoon every day. The beds are much larger than those at Chongqing Backpackers Ten Years. Overall, I'm satisfied. It's close to many nearby attractions.

Loved the ******* aesthetic in this hostel. All wooden, felt like a rustic cabin. Staff were helpful, can help you with organising hikes etc. The common area is really cosy, bathrooms are clean and have hot water. Dorms are good enough, mattresses a little hard but that’s ok.

Good atmosphere and overall vibe just within the ancient town. Acceptance of foreigner with no issues, Dorms beds have enough privacy There is also a restaurant down on the bottom floor Would stay again.

I stayed here for the May Day holiday when I climbed Mount Siguniang, and again for the National Day holiday when I trekked to Leduomanyin. This hostel has a great location, quite close to the subway station and Chunxi Road. The common areas are spacious, perfect for watching movies or chatting, and the atmosphere is very good. The air conditioning in the rooms works well, the floors are clean, and they provide disposable towels, slippers, toothpaste, and toothbrushes. The duvet covers and mattresses are also very clean. The hot water in the showers is strong. All in all, there are no major issues, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Chengdu!
