The room was a bit small but perfect for a solo traveler. The air conditioning was strong and kept the room nice and warm. It was also very quiet at night, and the location was easy to find. The room was conveniently close to the bathroom, making it easy to access.

Had a fantastic experience! I picked a hostel with pretty good reviews for my trip to Hangzhou, and it really exceeded my expectations. There's live band music every night, and you can meet travelers from all over in the common area. The front desk lady was incredibly thoughtful, and they even have smart toilets! Plus, the price was very affordable. Any issues I had, the front desk guy was super responsible and resolved them quickly.
Cleanliness: Bedding is changed for each new guest.
Facilities: Lots of entertainment options.
Highly recommended!

I think their house is quite convenient in all aspects. There is a shower room on the first floor. The shower room is the kind that separates wet and dry areas. You don't have to worry about your things getting wet. This is quite good and convenient. You can go directly to the room. There is a cabinet inside. It also provides the air conditioner you want. The weather in Hangzhou is quite extreme in summer and winter, so it would be much better if there is air conditioning. I like this more. And it is remote controlled. The remote control is placed on the bay window, and you can adjust the temperature yourself. These are relatively convenient. The details are well done, so I like their home and live in it more. I will come to their home next time. I recommend them. The cabinet is very large, and the items in the cabinet can be placed directly in the cabinet, because suitcases and tire pressure can also be placed. I feel that 24 inches are all OK, and there is a place to charge and a light on the bed.

This place is okay but I had slightly higher expectations to be honest. Cleanliness is alright, they give you a bag with a small towel upon request, both to be returned. Has free water dispensers, toiletries and a microwave. Common areas don't have a vibe but you can prepare and have your food and play video games as everyone else. The biggest common area is to the right side of the reception, which, as per usual, they don't tell you.
There is that Olympic Stadium nearby, but the city center is actually on the other side of the river. From here you will either need to take public transportation or a cab to West Lake or other interesting parts of town. Walking to the light show on the other side of the river bank took more than 1.5 hrs and it is not supposed to be walked.
There are no useful signs on the building but the way to get here is to use the ”hotel entrance” and use the single elevator straight ahead. Do not turn right to use the elevators in the elevator room. If you do, only the very right one brings you to the 5th floor where you will check in. Very confusing and no signs to help you. It also might take a bit until the right elevator arrives.
The shoe rack was inside the room, which resulted in a very smelly room. Guitar with old strings, barely playable. If I came back, I'd rather try out another place.

I would only give it 7 out of 10. The guy at the front desk is very easy to get along with, and he has a cute dog.
The bed was indeed quite soft, but it creaked loudly. Every time I turned over, it would make a noise. When I turned on the air conditioner in the middle of the night, I was so hot that I took off my clothes but it didn't work. Finally, I couldn't stand it anymore and opened the door a little. As shown in the picture, the heat from the air conditioner all ran to this corner. It was really uncomfortable.

I didn't know the hostel was under renovation when I made the reservation. When I arrived, I saw the public areas were a mess. I thought as long as the room and bathroom were clean, it would be acceptable. It's ok if the toilet didn't provide toilet paper. I don't know if it was a clogged toilet or a problem with the personal quality of the guests. They didn't flush the toilet after defecation, which was disgusting 🤮. The only thing that was heartwarming was the corner of the study room, the free drinking water supply, and the fact that everyone came on the fifth day of the Chinese New Year. The laundry and drying services were also good.

This youth hostel experience was fantastic! The vibrant atmosphere enveloped me upon entering the lobby. The colorful graffiti walls and shared tables and chairs were a creative touch. The space was filled with opportunities to chat and engage with friends from all over the world, instantly shattering the sense of familiarity. Although the rooms were shared, the beds came with blackout curtains, charging outlets, and individual lockers, ensuring both privacy and security. The bedding was clean and odor-free, and the bunk bed ladders were non-slip—all thoughtful details. The shared kitchen was fully equipped, allowing me to team up with my roommates to cook and share meals every night. The location was excellent, with a bus stop and a snack street nearby. The owner was friendly and engaging, and the Werewolf and city hikes he organized were super fun. The value for money was excellent, perfect for solo travelers or students. I'll definitely be back!

It is a youth hostel full of experience. It is not difficult to find that many small details are taken care of to make the guests feel warm, such as the wide stairs to the upper bunk, disposable cushions in the toilet, and each bed has its own room light. The on/off key, and the most considerate thing is the water barrier in the shower room. I have never stayed in any hostel or hotel that provides the above facilities at the same time. As for the study room and music restaurant downstairs, they are also unique. They are overflowing with literary and artistic style. The study room even provides Japanese comics. The lady at the front desk also explained it very politely and patiently. Surprisingly, she also provided soy milk for breakfast, which was delicious. I really want to savor it carefully next time I come back, and I look forward to seeing you again!

The room was very clean and there was no one to disturb us every day. I have stayed here four or five times. The front desk was also very enthusiastic and there was no negative emotion when I asked him for help.

I stayed here for several days and actually forgot to take pictures of the interior. Overall it's really nice. I chose this place because the living room is spacious. Unlike other youth hostels with small living rooms, they are full when just a few people sit, making it inconvenient to eat. This hall is relatively large. There are several large and small tables behind the right wall in Figure 2. The decoration style is also very nice. The floors and walls in the room are very clean, the mattress is also OK, and it doesn't squeak when you turn over. The curtains have good blackout properties, and Da Huang is also very cute. This place seems to have been newly opened not long ago, so the environment is really good, really clean and hygienic, and it's very close to the subway entrance and shopping mall. There is also the Hangzhou Little Red Car downstairs, which makes travel very convenient and really good. Most of the people staying here are young people, and I have made a few friends. I really recommend it. It seems there is also WiFi. #cost-effective

Very Good
KKenteshanshangdefengThe room, though compact, is fully equipped. Cleanliness was excellent. The location is extremely convenient, with easy access to both Metro Line 2 and 3, making trips to West Lake a breeze. Service was top-notch. The management is well-organized and attentive, making it a truly reliable choice. Getting around is easy, and luggage storage is quick and convenient.
SSeraphineNoelleThe address in Amap was completely wrong, so I struggled finding the hostel. I had booked it because of the metro being nearby, which was not the case in the end. BUT, this made me a new local friend who showed me the way, so it turned out well.
It is situated in the main area, so to get anywhere, you'll walk through the hustle & bustle, but it's in a calm street, so you don't have any noise inside.
Some of the staff spoke English or used translation tools, but not all of them. But they were very kind. Also, it was cheaper to extend directly with the hostel and pay them instead of rebooking online.
I met some really amazing people in my dorm, which also added to my Hangzhou experience.
The WiFi sometimes didn't work so well, but that's just very usual in China I find.
They have free (mostly hot) water, and you can also buy water bottles from them.

MM866974****The environment is great, very clean, and the decor has a European style. The lobby is bright and the front desk staff are welcoming with a great attitude. The attention to detail in the design is especially thoughtful. They also offer luggage storage, which is very convenient.
GGuest UserThis youth hostel has a clean environment, warm and thoughtful service, complete facilities, convenient transportation, a warm and friendly atmosphere, and high cost performance. It is an ideal choice for travel accommodation and is highly recommended!
KKjeldMy phone had some water damage so I couldn’t pay for things (without cash) and I couldn’t look things up. I arrived in this hostel and people started helping me immediately, offering me food, offering to come with me to the phone repair man etc.
It was very fun being in this hostel with very friendly Chinese (students I guess) and some of them speak good English. I’m gonna miss this place but mostly the people.
