What an amazing hidden gem this is. Nestled on a hill top overlooking the marshes with Warehorn church over the road, this pub with rooms is a must for a romantic get away. We arrived early and had a drink in the bar, which is beautifully quirky, a welcoming log fire burning and a wide selection of drinks. We had booked ”Niddy” an attic room with so much to give, a comfy bed, roll top bath, and so much character. The only ****** I had with the room, was the W.C squeezed into the roof space it was a little awkward to stand up and wee, but that's a small thing when it comes to such a great room. Requesting a quiet table for dinner, we were given one in a side area and again we couldn't believe it, it was super romantic and we had the whole room to ourselves. Our waiter Muli was so good, he was attentive but not intruding, and so funny, we haven't had many meals out and he really did make the evening. The food was excellent and the vegan burger was one of the best I have had. The location was brilliant, if you're into walking, cycling, birdwatching or wanting to visit local sites (rye was only 20min drive away) The rest of the staff were also brilliant, and couldn't do enough for us. We will definitely return.

Stayed with my son for 5 days. We truly enjoyed the stay. The hotel is really beautiful located by the yacht dock. The room is spacious with a balcony. The bed is comfortable and equipped with espresso machine and plenty of water and cookies.

Good location, walking distance from the old town and the train station, very convenient. The room is really small, you can sleep in the room, and you can sit down on the bed. Toiletries and slippers are not provided, but fortunately I brought it myself. The breakfast that comes with it tastes good and the coffee tastes average; If lunch or dinner is good, the price is fair. Although along the street, it is quiet at night, so you can sleep well. The room has a capsule coffee machine, and the capsule is enough.

This feels like good quality accommodation, despite being an Attic room the ceiling is quite high . However the room layout is naturally restricted so one twin bed is snuggled against the wall with restricted headroom. The payoff is a good sized ensuite with natural light . The upside in the summer is the aircon, the downside in the winter is the radiator adjacent to the twin bed. This is a small twin room next to a pub with lots of history,

Tastefully decorated, set in a old barn behind the pub, continental breakfast in the room. Restaurant is not open on a Monday and the bar closes at 8pm. No nearby shops. Own parking space. Downside blind did not work and the Refuse collection came at 05.45 ! Overall charming place to stay

The room was too cold and there was no air conditioning. There are no disposable items such as slippers, toothbrushes. The cafe is close to the roadside with a good view

Hot strong shower, the room is clean except the carpet which is a bit filthy. Very good and speedy check in, but it's manned only in the am and evening. We returned at 11pm one night while the car park was all full. We had a bit of a headache

Good fish and chips and craft beer, comfortable bed for a good sleep

The room was clean, the facilities were complete, the room was large, the restaurant was very popular in the local area, a good place for happy hour, and there were many guests at night. The only thing is that there is a burst of water pipes when the faucet is turned on, but it does not affect the rest at night.
