Hostels in County Dublin, Ireland

The hostel is a little bit disappointing, if I’m honest. Pros: -very clean bathrooms -amazing hot shower -location -free locker (deposit required) -keyless -free coffee pods and water The biggest downside is the sleeping pods. They are incredibly squeaky and flimsy, every more you make makes a ton of sound. What does not help is the fact the rooms are pretty much empty apart from the pods, so there is virtually zero sound dampening. I kid you not, but laying in the pod I could hear stomach rumbling of the person in a pod above me. It was very weird and awkward. If you or someone is snoring/coughing- you’re done. The nights were not very sleepless. Additionally, no charging ports worked in my pod and I had to use the kitchen Other cons: -towels and sheets are cleaned, but they are overused. Although washed, they have old stains and are generally worn out If you’re looking for a social hostel - this is not it. There aren’t any common areas (apart from small backyard and kitchen, which are always empty) and the hostel does not facilitate any activities If only the pods were a bit more convenient and a tiny bit more soundproof, it would be much better, but this issue really outweighed lots of positives for me

I think the location is great is just outside of a bus station and pretty walkable. There are a lot of sightseeing close by the room itself is clean. You can see that it’s an old building transform into a hostel as the toilet and the shower are not separated so if it’s a room with 10 people, it’s kind of difficult to go to the toilet or take a shower or wash your teeth if someone is already there.. and honestly if you’re looking for comfort, this might not be your choice as the beds don’t offer any privacy, and they are pretty shaky. But for the price and the location, I’ll say it’s fine.

The location is very convenient, the place is clean, and overall it was a great option for a three-day stay in the city. Unfortunately, one night was very difficult because there were two people in my room who snored very loudly and continuously throughout the entire night. I couldn’t sleep at all and eventually got up at 5 a.m. and went for a walk around the city. As a suggestion, perhaps the management could consider the issue of guests who snore heavily and create a separate room for them, similar to the separate room for women. Guests could indicate this in advance when booking. Alternatively, earplugs could be provided. Apart from this, everything was good, and I would otherwise consider this an ideal place for a short stay in the city.

loved my stay there and just wanna say thank you for the hospitality. I made new friends and met old friends from there. The staff were so nice and I had a fantastic chat with my roomies. I had a roomie from England, Manchester but we didn't share contacts. I would be happy to be in touch. In case he's still there, please share my email address with him. I also played table tennis with 4 amazing friends from Spain on Thursday evening. They were so lovely. I left before sharing contacts. The hotel is in the city center. It's a 10-minute walk from the Dublin Express airport bus stop. There are many bus options nearby to get to other attractions, and most Galway tour group meeting points are also in this area. The bathrooms and showers are very clean, and the staff cleans them frequently. The only downside is that accommodation prices in Dublin are generally very expensive.

I really enjoyed my stay. The pub is great in the common area. Amazing price for the pint. The people were also great, they made us feel very welcomed. The only thing to be aware is that some of the rooms have little space between the beds. So it can become a bit claustrophobic if you want to move around a lot. But I only used for sleeping so it didn't bother me.

The hotel isn't far from the station. The room was actually quite spacious, but the layout wasn't very practical, making it cramped when trying to organize belongings around each bunk bed. The top bunk was too low, and you couldn't even sit up straight on the bottom bunk. Underneath the bottom bunk, there were two large metal baskets for luggage, which looked big, but my 22-inch suitcase couldn't fit, so I could only use it for my backpack. There were no privacy curtains, but each bunk had a light, an outlet, and a small shelf. The room had a private toilet and shower, but the exhaust fan would loudly hum as soon as the light was turned on. You also had to make your own bed (put on the sheets, pillowcase, and duvet cover) and remove them and take them to the front desk when checking out. There's an elevator, which is a plus.

The shower, toilet and room were beautiful, and there was a cafe and various people stayed and enjoyed it. I forgot AirPods in my room on my way home, but the staff ran and came to deliver it. Thank you

Not very clean, to climb the stairs to carry luggage, the service is general, basically no service, the facilities are very old, the bed is not comfortable, the only advantage is that the car is very convenient, the door is the bus station, go directly to the airport, 25 minutes can go directly to the airport passenger building

Pretty good for a youth hostel, clean bedspreads, quilt covers and pillow covers on the bed, make your own. Girls from all over the world are very conscious, the bathroom is clean, and the bar downstairs is noisy until 13:00 in the morning, which has no impact on my good sleep.
