I am very happy with gostop hotel , facilities are very good and I feel it home in the security and highly advanced doors also hotel is very near distance from golden temple ,staff are very friendly nature .

Madpackers Amritsar is one of the cleanest hostels I have stayed in. The service is very good they are able to arramve tours to go see the border ceremony and to other things. It is within walking distance to the Golden Temple which ia very nice!

A surprisingly good hostel for a cheap price in Amritsar! It's located on a narrow street, just a short walk from any public transportation stop. A large sign with the name makes it easy to find. The entrance has large glass doors (locked from the inside at night). You need to take off your shoes and leave them in a small hallway (like entering a temple 😁). At reception, you'll be greeted by a very polite and smiling manager, Ram, dressed in Sikh guise—with a beard and turban. The rooms are dormitory-style. I had a mixed-gender room booked (unbeknownst to me), but I paid only 100 rupees extra and was assigned a three-person/bedroom for women. No one else checked in, so it felt like I was in a private room. In the morning, Ram helped me carry my luggage down a narrow street and negotiate a location with a taxi driver over the phone in Punjabi (I'd called an Uber myself), and I left for the airport. I'm very grateful to Ram for his kindness and help. By the way, the hostel is located next to the Golden Temple, a 10-minute walk away. I highly recommend it 💯

There is no breakfast. Family rooms can be booked with children. The hotel is well located, 2.5 kilometers from the train station, about 10 kilometers from the airport, and 1.5 kilometers from the Golden Temple. I arrived earlier and paid an early check-in of 500 rupees. The hygiene was ok. I brought my own travel cover. The hot water supply is seriously inadequate. Basically, the hot water can be flushed for 1 minute after 10 minutes, and then hot water is available for another 10 minutes because the water heater is too small. See the pictures I took.

The service was excellent. Hotel room service, maintenance and ambiance are excellent. Restaurant and the location of the hotel is very good.

Nice stay, near golden temple walking distance, golden temple view room neat & clean room bathroom, staff is very careful thanks mercury hotel.
