2203520****Excellent location and really nice people. The breakfast area is on the rooftop, and you can even cook your own meals. They also offer free noodles, some vegetables, and fruits. I'd definitely choose this place again on my next visit.

GGuest UserThey changed my hostel when I arrived there at middle of the night. But it was still a good substitute. I stayed at borgo ripa urban travel. It was better located. Rooms have single beds and no privacy like in the other dormitories. But still their staff was friendly and overall it was satisfactory experience. Good thing was it also had Beddit and water cleaning shower for toilets.

GGuest UserSuch a spacious room and lockers, with big windows and two great modern bathrooms! They seemed to be cleaned regularly.  I really appreciated that, and the bed was soft and comfy. The whole building was great and offered laundry facilities. The lounge was very bright and stylish, to work or to relax in and the location was very well-connected.  The staff was wonderful and very helpful all around. It would've been great to have a light over my bed so I don't disturb other people. A proper kitchen would have also been helpful. Hostel prices in Rome are quite high, and you're already paying a lot.

SSakshi II had a really pleasant stay at Free Hostels Roma. The staff were very friendly and always ready to help, which made the experience even better. The service was smooth and well-organized, and everything felt comfortable and welcoming. Overall, it was a great place to stay, especially for travelers looking for a friendly atmosphere and good service. I would definitely recommend it and would happily stay here again.

CChayaphat Jaimalaiconsidering the price, the hotel is not that bad. Great location just few times walk to the Colosseum. Even the electric fan is not working but you can bring your own fan. The cleanliness of the bed sheet and a pillow is not that bad. There’s one shower room and toilet so you have to wait. there is pantry also so you can cook your food. If you want to stay here for many days and save the budget, I recommend this hotel

GGuest UserReally enjoyed my time at Borgo Ripa. The staff were so kind. The rooms were clean — everyday I would find my bed made and stuff folded. There was water, utensils, and a microwave if we needed it. The place was secure too. There were codes for everything. The area was pretty and the location was a bit accessible. There were restaurants nearby and a few buses that passed. I guess my only complaints are: 1) the surrounding area was dark at night (not their fault, but kinda scary for a solo female traveler) 2) the bathroom lights were powered by a sensor, which would frequently turn off. But that’s it.

AAmarnahI stayed in a female only dorm with private bathroom. Loved the stay. They had plenty of activities for you to join and meet people. The location was great, furthest walk was to the Vatican City and that was 1hr walk. Very convenient to the train stations. They offered free pasta every night down at the the yellow bar. Rooms were clean and spacious. Lockers were a great size and were able to fit my bag in it (i have a larger bag). The only thing that i can fault the place on was the drains in the bathroom were smelly, but considering that i was out all day it wasn’t really an issue. Maybe have an air freshener in the bathroom to help with the smell.

XXianggangpitelaoshiExcellent value for money! Everything in Rome is expensive, so this hotel is perfect for budget travelers. It has a kitchen and a common area, and it's just a 3-minute walk to the bus stop, metro station, and train station for airport and long-distance trains. You might also consider buying a 3-5 day transport day pass or a Travel Pass, which covers all modes of transportation.

GGuest UserI stayed in a private room with a friend. The toilet, bath, and kitchen were shared with guests from two other private rooms, so it felt more like a share house than a typical hostel. I struggled a bit with locking and unlocking the main door, but the room door lock worked perfectly, and both the room and common areas were clean. For a hostel, I think the quality is quite high. The shower pressure was a little weak, but it provided hot water reliably. The hairdryer was also pretty powerful. There was a washing machine but no dryer. Personally, I was thrilled that the kitchen always had paper towels available.

GGuest UserFirst off, the shower didn't have hot water. I was also given a different room than what was pictured when I booked. The reception staff was disorganized; I went to the bed they told me to, but someone else was already sleeping there. After that, I was assigned an upper bunk in a simple bunk bed, which meant I couldn't do much. There was no storage, and my bed was the only one without a bedside charger. Since there's nowhere to store valuables, it's hard to manage them. The area around the hotel was good, with a station, restaurants, and a supermarket nearby. I don't think I'll be staying here again.
