GGuest UserIt was pretty quiet at night, and the location was decent. The cleanliness was good too. The 5-euro breakfast we paid extra for in the morning was a bit too simple, mostly sweets, though it did include coffee and juice. Also, a genuine tip: if you have enough space, buy some water from the vending machine here to take into the city. A 1-euro bottle from the machine costs 1.5 euros or more in the city.

RReadysetjomThis is a great place to stay. Very accommodating staff and clean place.
The only downside for me is the bed without covers. The spaces are enough but some privacy curtains would be preferrable. I understand that there could be reasons behind it but most of the hostels I stayed in before, mixed or not have privacy curtains. My bed location was in a bit awkward location as it is visible upon entry. A cover from one side would be great. Still overall, I would come back to Generator on my next visit. ☺️

AAnonymous UserI loved the common areas they have for travellers to relax. Not to mention the fully equipped kitchen and also the occasional free dinner prepared by the staff. Rooms were spacious and adopted the capsule/nest style where you can have ultimate privacy at night. Lockers were big enough to fit my 40L bag and no additional locks needed for the locker. Although the beds are encapsulated, however it is not hot or stuffy at night as I still felt cold from the AC. Ensuite bathroom is decent and clean for everyone’s use.

There was some slight mixup with the room and I got allocated a room with more people than expected. What I did find interesting though, was the method to climb up the upper bunk bed 🙂

The room was soooo clean and new (maybe they were renovated?)
Toilet, shower, air conditioner, bed, everything has no problem and good quality! You can use a hair dryer at the room.
The staff was also kind and nice. They told us good places to visit in Italy.
The Location was super, it was only five minutes from Termini station.
I saw many bad reviews of this hostel on Google maps, maybe the shared rooms are not good. So I definitely recommend you to book private, double bed room if you visit there with more than 2 people. The price wasn’t much different!
Careful: They don’t have a towel and it’s a bit difficult to get into the hostel at the first time.

GGuest UserNot bad, if you’re staying here just remember that airport stops running trains to termini at 11pm until 5 am the next day. So if the proximity to the train station is why you’re staying here just keep in mind. I ended up getting a taxi because Im traveling by myself and heard that the termini area can get a little sketchy after midnight. Everything else was fine. The blankets provided did not seemed to be cleaned very well, mine had what looked like blood or makeup stains. Ended up just using the sheets to cover myself.

GGuest UserI opted for breakfast on one of the nights, and it was a better deal to book it in advance with the room; it would have been 10-11 Euros if booked on the spot. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic, with a huge variety of options. They even had chocolate cake that was both gluten-free and vegan, which really impressed me. What also stood out was the onion jam!
I also met a lot of really interesting staff and guests here. Plus, if you had any travel questions, or needed recommendations for places to visit, you could just ask anytime!
