The hotel is nice, clean and hygienic, suitable for young people. The price is affordable. There are free hot springs nearby for the three days of New Year. It is only a seven- to eight-minute walk from Beppu Station. There is something to find on Baidu Maps. The owner is Chinese and very enthusiastic. Easy to find with Google Maps

The hospitality of the inn is great
I booked the day to sleep on the mountain climbing Kyushu expedition
Clean futon. I was able to sleep well with a walnut on cleaned sheets.
The next day I was climbing, so I had a letter on my shoes when I left early in the morning. I was very relieved.
Mr. Sagara, I was impressed!
I wanted to go again when I stopped nearby.
There are hot springs and restaurants.

You can borrow bicycles for free and ride to Hulu Hot Springs for a soak. It's so comfortable. The guy at the front desk is also very friendly and provides detailed introductions. The only problem is that the guests are all elderly and their snoring is a bit noisy at night.

The bathroom also has a washing machine and dryer, with everything you need. The gate code will be mailed to you on the morning of check-in, making check-in convenient. The landlord will turn on the air conditioner first. It is very comfortable as soon as you move in. It is a very quiet countryside. It is very dark at night and there are no street lights, so people dare not go out. You can go to the supermarket to buy dinner and cook it yourself in the kitchen. It is a 5-10 minute walk from Kinrin Lake, and you can go for a walk in the early morning. It is very beautiful.

90 year old Japanese building with full renovated beautifully in 2019. Managed by a person who has moved into this small town from Yokohama where is one of the biggest city in Japan. She knows a lot of little things in this town and reccommend local restaurant, Izakaya, diner, bar or some tour places perfectly suite your needs.
Bed room is only dormitory not private room.
Shared shower room but private enough.
Specious Tatami living room makes you very relaxed and feels like common Japanese house.

We loved the Japanese style room with tatami mats, incredibly spacious room, amazing Japanese breakfast included in (low) price, great location that was walking distanc to Hyotan Onsen and the Beppu Jigoku (Hells of Beppu). The owner was super friendly and helpful and gave us a hand-drawn map of local onsens and restaurants. To note: Showers were only 7.30-8.30am (same time as m breakfast at 7.30am) or 7-10pm in the evening, but you had to request to shower, because most people shower at the onsens instead.

We had a very nice stay. The room was very pleasant, with a lovely view, and the welcome was very kind. The accommodation is also very well located, close to the sea. Free services are also available, such as the onsen and bicycles. Nothing to complain about, everything was great!

We had a wonderful stay at the hostel. The host gave us great tips on hiking in the area and was super friendly all the time. The house is really pretty. We enjoyed our stay so much, we spontaneously decided to stay one night longer. We highly recommend staying here.
