This hostel overall is very good. Convenient location, spacious room, clean facilities and friendly staff. The common areas is also pretty good. The bathroom had shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and a hairdryer with lockers for small personal items. Towels are an up charge. Great facilities. However on two of my nights I got very poor sleep due to several prolific snorers. Like I could hear them with my AirPods put onto maximum volume. A very good hostel but it was other customers who affected by experience.
At first, I was worried about the facial recognition system and the user experience at the self-service check-in after reading the reviews. Once we arrived, the location was easy to find and check-in was very simple. There was a sticker at the door with the booking person's name, the bed number, and a code. Just press the code to enter. It's less than 15 minutes from Atami Station, and the walk from the station to the hotel is downhill. There's a supermarket and convenience store in between. It's a short walk from Atami Nanayu and Kinomiya Shrine. The restrooms and bathrooms were clean, with separate bathrooms for men and women. The beds were large, and the value for money was very good.
I have traveled quite a bit in Japan alone. There is no place as good as this place. You can enjoy an open-air bath, but you can reserve a time and enjoy it in your own space. The exterior and interior design are very clean and comfortable. The owner was friendly and the restaurant he recommended was also great. Located right in front of Shinhuji Station. I will come again next time!!
It was a great time in this hostel ever. Actually I traveled Japan quite a lot thought I've never had experience at here like cozy and calm. Bath system was incredible and interior design was so Japan. And the location is just near by Sinfuji station. Host was so kind also. If.. I will come and stay here again definitely.
Very kind and talkable oerator who vooked dinner and breakfast for us. He ia a talented young guy playing guitar and other instruments for our entertainment. Strongly recommend to spend a wonderful stay in this clean and tidy house which aged over a hundred years but newly enovated with wood work by the operator himself.
Is Toda Port a place that has nothing to do with people who do not fish at an old fishing port? There are only old Showa retro shops that do not know if the shops around are vacant or not.
There is a fashionable cafe, Tagore, which has been renovated from an old folk house in such a place.
When I enter the store, there is a foreigner, and it is like a foreign country somewhere. Check-in is a modern method of reading QR code on your smartphone and entering customer information.
The room is just a renovation of an old folk house, the furniture is antique, the floor is boarded, and when you walk, you can hear a giggling sound. It is irresistible for those who like retro.
The view from the room shows you a 々 view in the morning, noon, and evening. So even if you look at the view from the room as Bo, you can kill time.
The staff were also very friendly 々 and it was the best family trip. It is an inn that I want to stay again.

MMakhamTravelThe hotel is very clean, the staff are very nice, and they helped me with my luggage before and after checkout despite my only staying there for 1 night.
The room is private but has no door lock, and you can't be loud because the roofs are connected to other rooms.
The room is very clean and has an in-room locker for clothes and your worthy items.
The location is close to Shizuoka JR Station. It is only a 4-minute walk, and it is easy to find.
The bathroom is also clean, as in the photo (I took it when there were no people).
The price is not expensive; it's worth staying. will definitely be there again 👍😊
TTALON9[About the Bath, Guest Rooms, and Facilities]
While there was no shower or bath in the guest room, we were able to enjoy the hot spring bath.
The guest room was meticulously cleaned and very comfortable. The futon mattresses were particularly soft and fluffy, allowing for a good night's sleep. The hotel also had a USB charging point and a clean toilet with a washlet, which were all thoughtful touches.
[About the Meals]
Dinner was a luxurious and satisfying meal, featuring a delicious unaju (grilled eel on rice). There was also a wide variety of a la carte dishes, all very reasonably priced.
Breakfast was a buffet, and I enjoyed it while admiring the view from the window.
[Staff Response]
I made the mistake of booking the wrong date, but despite the sudden change of plans, the front desk staff welcomed me warmly and without a hint of anger. Their quick and flexible response was truly appreciated.
[About Access]
This time, I traveled by car. The road to the inn is hilly and narrow, so first-time visitors may be a little surprised. However, it's easy to access, even with a car the size of a Hiace, and there's free parking, so you don't have to worry. There's also a shuttle bus from Atami Station, so access by car is also convenient.
[Conclusion]
The inn exceeded my expectations in every way, including troubleshooting, facilities, food, and price. The warm hospitality is the inn's greatest appeal. I would confidently recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in Atami. Thank you very much!

SSIU YUIt is time for a renovation. The staff was very welcoming and courteous, but the lighting in the hotel room was a bit inadequate, but very close to the station
GGuest UserThe South Asian guy at the front desk was very welcoming. This hotel is suitable for poor travelers traveling alone. It is not far from Fujinomiya Station. It is a small place. It is enough for one day. The streets were deserted at night. I felt like I was the only one in the whole city that night. mainland tourists
