the room on the 2 or 3 floor is really good. The room is very big and the bathroom as well. There a two superb things about the room: 1) the balcony 2) the location. There is a fridge, kattle, tea and coffee in the room. The desk is especially good if you like to write. Furthermore I like the lightning there, the light is nice and cozy. The Hotel has a really nice atmosphere, with an outside are for drinks and food. You can get water, beer and a shuttle service for some extra costs. Unfortunately, the cleanes could be better. The sheets weren't very clean and the balcony was dirty. The TV wasn't working properly and there was no Wi-Fi in the room. If you speak Mandarin you have definitely some advantages because the Hotel is Chinese-Malay ownd. Overall I definitely recommend this place, because the location is so good and the room and balcony is so big. You can easily stay there a few days. The staff is so friendly as well, you can sit with them having a talk or just enjoy the time.
Cozzy Motel Malacca

Room at Cozzy was OK. It was very basic, but that was exactly what I expected of a cheap 'motel' (it's not a hotel). So I was happy with that. Spacious room and good shower The only downside was the location. It's located 2 meters from a small alley, which is heavily used by motorbikes (shortcut from one street to another), so that sound was quite disturbing. Also right opposite my room was a small church, where close to 9am a service started, with a microphone so I could hear every word the preacher said. I think that is daily, because it was on a Thursday, not a Sunday. The owner is very friendly. If you are an easy sleeper and on a tight budget, this might be a good place for you!

I extended one day, but the boss didn't let me change rooms. It's great. The location is very good. It's convenient to take the bus to the station. The deposit was returned quickly when I checked out. The female staff allowed me to leave my luggage until the evening. It was very convenient for sightseeing on the last day. of. Good quality and low price.

Sleep Here Hostel, Melaka

At budget friendly prices this is as close as you can get to a tastefully done-up hostel near Jonker's street - a mere 500 metres away - without having to pay Jonker street's prices. Although the premises are ”not on the water” it is just a stone's throw from the riverside. The surprise was the inside. I went with three friends and and at this price point for a hostel, we got more than our money's worth. On the ground floor is a separate reception area where your card key only allows access to the upper hostel floors. Upon ascending the staircase we were surprised that the interior spaces were quite large. There was a huge common room / coffee area for the backpackers to chill. We took the largest available room with the 4 double deckers in anticipation for a few more friends who might decide to crash with us later. It can fit 8 comfortably with large storage areas under the bed. Out the door is the common wash area, more than ample with rows of numerous shower/toilet stalls. Each shower stall has a commode and towel racks and the stall locks for your privacy. Like I mentioned earlier, the interior spaces are surprisingly large, and shout-outs to the owner/designer to make this into a large-living budget hostel. The other plusses were the beddings. Nothing felt ”hostel” here but more like a 3 or 4 star hotel. Dare I say the smooth white sheets are made of thousand count Egyptian cotton? Two firm yet fluffy pillows are complemented by an equally fluffy comforter that would soothe the tired traveler after a walk around town. The mattresses are top notch too. In short the owners did not skimp on the rooms to ensure travellers will be well rested. We shall return!
Simpang Ampat Hotel

A centrally located and newly built hotel. Very pleasant, clean, and cozy interior with comfortable beds and pillows. Great A/C and TV. Things to improve on: slow check in process (~15 mins), most rooms have no windows, toothbrush not provided. Apart from these, one of the better hotels in this small town. Worth the money and very comfortable for 2 a night stay.

The decoration is very good, the environment is clean, and the facilities are new and clean. The service staff are friendly. There is a parking lot opposite the hotel that leads directly to Jonker Street two blocks away. It is a ten-minute walk to the Stadhuys district. The store manager who has studied in Taiwan is very friendly!
Stay with Me Capsules Hostel

I booked a trip to Malacca during the Chinese New Year period and decided to experience a stay in a capsule hostel. Surprisingly, the capsule is very clean and comfy. Air con temperature works just right for me. Sharing toilets are very clean too. The staff at the hostel cleans it everyday. They did a great job. Kuddos to them for their hard work. There is a little ”drawback” here as it is during CNY period, the pub down the hostel played very loud music at night. I love the cafe down the hostel. They serve nice yummy food and their coffee too. I was there almost everyday for my meals. Stay with me Capsules Hostel is indeed a good location and even the walking distance from the hostel to Jonker street is very short. Overall, i really enjoyed my stay here and definitely be back soon. Thank you so much.
Heeren Inn Melaka

Jonker
It is a fabulous location and quiet even though its in the middle of the action. The room we had (203) had a window, lots of light and plenty of room. William keeps the place spotless and he is lovely and helpful. It would be ideal for anyone including solo travellers.
