In a great location near Elizabeth Quay, and Langley park for Australia day fireworks and other events. We stayed in a Premium room with river view. It was spacious, modern and with a great shower. The view was nice, but would be great if the windows weren't so narrow. The walls were way too thin for a luxury hotel though. We could hear the conversations of the guests in the room next to us, and they woke us up when they came back to the room at 1am. That's the only reason I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

Mandurah Quay Resort is a very family-oriented run resort. Full of friendly and helpful staff who are always there to help you. It resides at a quiet corner of mandurah which gives you the peaceful which any urban hectic human needs. Book a 2rooms Spa apartment where I can enjoy the jacuzzi amenities within the room. Room was spacious and clean. Very decent value for its price. If you like to have some fun, can loan the crab pots and various equipment from the hotel owner/staff who are more than willing to go the extra miles. Dropping point is at the jetty within walking distance. Can also drive around to visit the Giant of Mandurah who are sited in magnificent sceneries. Beautiful , huge and yet can feel the freedom and friendliness of the giant.

I saw comments saying you don't need to buy tickets to watch the dolphin feeding, but the tickets are actually for the dolphin conservation center. If you arrive very late or very early at the hotel, the ticket booth at the entrance will be unattended. You're expected to buy tickets at the visitor center behind the dolphin beach. We were 2 adults and 4 children, with two kids under 12, so we bought a 2 adult and 2 child family ticket. We stayed for two nights. We also arrived late on the first day and didn't buy tickets. Originally, we should have bought a monthly pass, but the staff at the ticket counter the next morning were very kind and let us just buy a one-day pass for $45.
