Visit Yongquan Town and stay in a family suite in the town hotel with two bedrooms and one living room. It feels like home and is very warm. There is a large bucket of tea in the room, which exudes a faint fragrance! The hotel service is very good. Thanks to the housekeeper Xiaotang. He will contact you the day before check-in to arrange pick-up from the high-speed rail station. This service is really convenient! The 12 scenes of Yijiangnan in the town are very beautiful. The whole mountain forest is lush and green, as if walking in the Wizard of Oz and walking into a paradise! The night view is also beautiful! There are many snacks in the town, but there is only one Jiangnan stir-fry restaurant for ordering dishes. There are too few varieties of farm dishes that can be ordered, but the taste is still good. I stayed in the town for one night. Overall, I felt that the scenery and service were very satisfactory. The catering was a little lacking and there was nothing delicious!

We booked this place to stay the night before our overnight trip to Huangshan. The hotel is located between the Tangkou bus station and the Huangshan entrance gates, so you might have to take another bus or taxi (which however are very cheap to get there. The shuttle bus you need to take in the morning is in walking distance though.
Upon arrival, the host gave us a free upgrade after a friendly conversation and a lot of good advice for the following trip to the mountain.
The room we stayed in was probably one of the nicest rooms we have stayed in on our travels in Asia, and definitely the best value for money so far.
The hotel also offers free luggage storage and offered us to borrow some hiking poles (which we unfortunately forgot in the morning). When we came back the day after, we were even allowed to take a quick shower before getting on our Taxi out of town.
Overall, we couldnt have wished for a better stay and would recommend anyone visiting Huangshan to stay here.

This hotel definitely has character, and it's all in the details. The facilities are on par with a 4-star hotel, including a pool and five hot spring baths. There's nothing quite like a hot spring soak after a hike – pure bliss! 👍👍
Many aspects of the hotel are also very thoughtful. The elevators have buttons for children/guests with special needs, and the shower rooms include a small stone slab for easier access. 👍👍
The rooms come equipped with a capsule coffee machine, kettle, air purifier, and a mini-fridge, plus a JBL smart alarm clock. The TV is a smart TV on a movable arm, and you can even watch movies for free – the ambiance is just perfect! 👍👍
The hotel's exterior is all white, giving it a super upscale feel. Many nooks and crannies inside also have more artistic flair than what you'd typically find in a 4-star hotel. Where else could you find such a hidden gem for under 500 [currency]?
It's currently off-peak season, and they even upgraded my room for free – that's what I call great service! Z👍👍 I'll definitely be back if I get the chance.
The hotel location and landscape is top notch for this region. Kids friendly - the indoor playground was amazing! We enjoyed the great service from the staff, especially Ms Xiang, who was very warm hearted and helpful.
Can not expect the hotel to be a real 5-star compared to the well developed tourism places, some areas of improvement: many people still smoke inside the facilities - including the public hot spring area, swimming pool, even the hotel lobby. Some of the facilities inside the room are not well maintained - be sure to check them and request for fix or change the room if needed. But for this area, I’d highly recommend this hotel for family stay and a very relaxing experience at a reasonable price.

The hotel is located within the Xixinan Scenic Area, and cars can't drive in, which is quite inconvenient. If you're self-driving, you have to park at the visitor center. During the National Day holiday, the hotel's shuttle bus wasn't operating, so we had to drag our luggage a long way down a stone path, which was incredibly frustrating.
The hotel itself is beautiful, but the rooms are very old, especially the soundproofing, which is terrible. If there's a family with children next door or upstairs, it really affects your sleep.
The hotel breakfast was a huge letdown – the space was small and the selection of food was very limited.
The hotel does offer afternoon tea, which was a small positive.
Overall, for 1500 a night, the value for money is quite low. Staying one night just to take some pictures was enough.

Huangshan travel is really healing. This time I traveled with friends, not climbing mountains or rushing to scenic spots.
Facilities: The hotel has good hot water supply. The sooner the air conditioner is turned on, the better. Otherwise, it is hot during the day. Don't worry about the temperature. It will drop at night~
Hygiene: The hygiene of the homestay is reliable.
Environment: It is right on Tunxi Old Street. It is not much different from the 600-a-night homestay I stayed in before. It's just that the breakfast is a bit chilly. Wonton is recommended.
Service: I hope the male front desk can take the initiative to help send the luggage upstairs next time. If the customer can carry it by himself, wouldn't it be better~ The breakfast aunt is gentle and enthusiastic, and the wontons are also well wrapped.
In short, I am very satisfied with this trip and still trust Ctrip.

I brought my family to Huangshan this time and chose Laojiekou Hotel. The experience far exceeded my expectations, so I have to give it a full five-star rating!
📍 **Excellent Location, Perfect for Sightseeing**
The hotel's location is truly unbeatable! It's right at the entrance of Tunxi Old Street. You can step out and explore the old street, sample various Huizhou specialty foods (like hairy tofu and stinky mandarin fish), and buy local products with ease. It's a perfect transit and resting stop for visiting attractions like Huangshan Scenic Area and Hongcun. Transportation to both the train station and bus station is incredibly convenient.
💖 **Warm Service, Feeling at Home**
From the confirmation call after booking to the warm smiles of the front desk staff upon check-in, every step of the process made us feel welcome. Seeing that we were traveling with elderly family members, they proactively helped us with our luggage and arranged a quiet room. The ladies at the front desk were incredibly helpful, answering all our questions, assisting with itinerary planning, and even arranging carpooling services. Their thoughtful advice made our entire trip much smoother.
🏨 **Clean and Comfortable Rooms, A Sanctuary on Our Journey**
We stayed in a scenic view room, which was very spacious and bright, with decor that blended modern comfort with traditional Huizhou charm. Most importantly, the cleanliness was exceptional; the bedding and bathroom facilities were spotless, with no unpleasant odors. After a bustling evening exploring the old street, being able to return to such a quiet and comfortable room for a good night's sleep truly recharged us for the next day's hike. The bathroom had excellent water pressure and plenty of hot water, which was very relaxing after a long day.
**Summary:** This stay offered incredibly high value for money! Both the facilities and the service were impeccable. It wasn't just a place to stay; it felt more like a home away from home. I can honestly say that if I visit Huangshan again, Laojiekou Hotel will be my only choice!
The luckiest choice for this trip to Tianzhu Mountain is to live in Fuyao B&B! Completely exceeded expectations!
The location is really nothing to say, hidden in the hinterland of the scenic spot, it takes 5 minutes to drive to the Dalongwo cableway, and it is especially convenient to go to the South Gate. The most worry-free thing is that the boss provides free pick-up service. You don't have to worry about finding a parking space before climbing the mountain. After climbing the mountain, you can take the return car directly, and completely solve the traffic concerns. The homestay is surrounded by bamboo forests and green mountains. When you open the curtains in the morning, you will be full of green eyes. The air is fresh like a natural oxygen bar. You can also enjoy the beautiful scenery for outdoor breakfast.
The service is even warmer. The beautiful boss took the initiative to add WeChat, and the demand response was timely. He was afraid of children's motion sickness on the way back to the high-speed rail station. He also recommended a gentle route to relieve the plum sugar.
The food is even more pleasant! The ingredients are fresh local, the casserole chicken soup is fresh and eyebrows are dropped, the hawthorn roast meat is full of mountain flavor, and each dish is authentic and delicious.
Living comfortably, eating happily, and traveling conveniently, such a treasure homestay is really unrequited. Next time you come to Tianzhu Mountain, you must choose here!

I saw this room on Ctrip, and I happened to want to go to Jiuhua Mountain. I was a little worried after reading the reviews online, but I thought it was a good deal, and it also came with tickets to the scenic spot, hot springs and breakfast included. I thought it was worth a try. When I arrived, the front desk was very friendly. My sister Xiaofang received my friend and I very enthusiastically, and said that if we have any questions, we can contact her anytime. After we rested for a while, we went to the scenic spot tickets given by the hotel. The scenery was very good, and there were buses in front of the hotel. We arrived at the scenic spot for just 1 yuan. It rained that day. I heard the spring rain in Jiuhua Mountain for the first time. I felt that hiking in the rain was very pleasant and artistic. After we returned from the tour, we received fruits from the hotel staff. After taking a rest and replenishing our abilities, we We went to the hot springs. The hot springs were very comfortable. Sister Pei was very nice. She prepared bath towels and ginger tea for us. The meal the next day was also very pleasant, because the car we booked arrived at 7:20 in the morning and we didn't arrive until 7:00. I went downstairs for breakfast. I didn’t have time to bake the bread I wanted to eat. The staff baked it for me, and there were many varieties. Both Chinese and Western styles were delicious. This trip to Jiuhua Mountain really has to give a thumbs up to the hospitality of the hotel and the staff. 100 points, the trip to Jiuhua Mountain was very enjoyable and I will come again next time~

AAnonymous UserI was attracted by the pictures, but I was a little disappointed by this homestay in the ancient town. After all, you can stay in a very good hotel in Wuhu at this price.
Let's talk about the general environment of the ancient town first. It is said that tickets are charged on holidays. Few shops are open at night, and there are few people in the morning. It is said that there are performances, but there is nothing suitable for children after looking at the program list. Many shops are closed, and the streets with closed doors can also show that they were once prosperous. It should be good.
Let's talk about the hotel. The room area is OK and the environment is generally good, but my child is afraid of the slide and thinks it is too steep. I tried it myself and it was true, so I lost one of the fun of booking this room.
The breakfast is really incomparable to star hotels. It is matched by the owner himself.
I saw the reviews before that the small animals that can be fed were only empty cages. There was a cat. The baby could only play with the cat for a while. On the way to the room, I had to pass the cat house. The smell almost made me faint.
There are also advantages. In terms of service, the boss contacted in advance. When I arrived, the boss went to the door to pick up the tickets in person. There were several times in the middle when the remote control and bed sheets were replaced. The boss solved it quickly. The owner of the B&B is indeed very responsive to the guests' service and has a very good attitude. The air conditioning in the room is very powerful, the terrace is quite comfortable, and it feels good to sit on the terrace as the sun sets.
Overall, I gave it a score of four, and I hope it can be better. Or the price can be more affordable.
JJoe YoteMajestic Peaks: The mountain's iconic peaks, like Lotus Peak and Bright Summit, offer breathtaking panoramic views.
* Ancient Pines: Twisted and gnarled pine trees add character to the scenery, their silhouettes standing out against the sky.
* Sea of Clouds: A unique phenomenon where clouds engulf the mountaintops, creating a mystical and ever-changing atmosphere.
* Bizarre Rock Formations: The Flying Stone and the Monkey Watching the Sea are just a few of the fascinating rock formations that add to the mountain's mystique.
Hiking and Trekking:
Huangshan offers a variety of trails for hikers of all levels. The most popular route, the Western Scenic Highway, winds through the heart of the mountain, offering stunning views and opportunities to explore ancient temples and pagodas.
Tips:
* Wear comfortable hiking shoes.
* Bring plenty of water and snacks.
* Allow ample time for hiking and exploring.
* Consider staying overnight at a mountaintop inn for a truly unique experience.
Overall: Huangshan is a must-visit for nature lovers and anyone seeking a truly unforgettable experience. Its dramatic beauty and unique atmosphere will leave a lasting impression.
Qqian11I was in the mood to try to check in. The booked room was too pleasant. The window was a good scenery. The environment was quiet and comfortable. People lived in a particularly comfortable place. The price is really high, the hot spring experience is superb, there are many types of soup pools, you can find a temperature that is just suitable for your own temperature, and you can relax after soaking. From check-in to departure, it is smooth. The parking lot is large and free. I really recommend it to friends who want to find a place to relax. I definitely don't step on thunder!

MMaksim AkulovIf you are planning your trip to the magnificent Huangshan Mountains, be sure to stay at this hotel for a few days. I have traveled quite a lot in China and have a lot to compare with. I give this guesthouse the very, very highest rating. The owners of the hotel are lovely and wonderful people.
I felt willingness to help and responsiveness in every minute of my stay. The hotel is in a perfect and peaceful location where you can relax after hiking in the mountains. The hotel hosts drove me to the south gate of the park and also took me back after the mountain hike was over. They also offered rain gear. That was a very nice thing to do. The hotel building itself is very modern and beautiful and the room was perfectly clean. The hotel also has a terrace with an amazing view. There is a store and a restaurant with delicious food on the first floor of the hotel. I was left with the most pleasant impressions. Thank you, hosts.

WWee Meng SengWe are a family of four. We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel thoroughly. It was so relaxing and peaceful. The Hotel was surrounded by mountains but it has all the facilities of a five star Hotel. As it was winter we didn't use the swimming pool but we had a fun time soaking in the outdoor hot springs. Both the dinner and breakfast were delicious and the ingredients were of the best quality. The reception was warm and professional. The young men and lady running the place gave us excellent advice on how to climb the mountain. Overall, I recommend this Hotel to anyone who wants an excellent time at the mountain base before climbing the mountain and to recoup after the climb before returning to the hustle and bustle of city life.
EEmanuele G.We had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel in Likou, Qimen. Nestled in the heart of nature, the location is serene, peaceful, and perfect for anyone looking to relax and unwind. The surrounding landscape is lush and beautiful, making it an ideal retreat from busy city life.
One of the highlights of our stay was the excellent service provided by Liang Hao at the reception. From the moment we made our reservation, he was incredibly helpful, providing detailed information and answering all our questions promptly. During our stay, he continued to be attentive and welcoming, ensuring everything went smoothly.
A particularly memorable moment was enjoying a cup of local tea offered by Liang Hao in the hotel’s beautiful tea room. The atmosphere was warm and authentic, and it added a truly special touch to our experience.
We highly recommend this place to anyone seeking tranquility, nature, and outstanding hospitality.

Very Good
DDayudayu213🌟 **Location & Ambiance**
- **Mountain & Village Views**: Nestled between the two UNESCO World Heritage sites, Hongcun and Xidi, and just 5km from Hongcun, the hotel offers stunning panoramic views of rolling green mountains and traditional Huizhou villages (with their characteristic black tiles, white walls, and horse-head gables) right from your window.
- **Design Heritage**: Transformed from an old granary, the design thoughtfully incorporates original granary artifacts as artistic decor. It seamlessly blends modern Chinese aesthetics with traditional Huizhou architectural elements, creating a captivating interplay of light and shadow that changes with the time of day, making every corner a picturesque scene.
🏠 **Room Experience**
- **Private In-Room Hot Springs**: Every room type features an independent hot spring tub (equipped with Hansgrohe fixtures and King Koil mattresses), spacious enough for a family of three. An electric heated towel rack further enhances comfort.
- **Attention to Detail**: Smart toilets and exquisite tea sets provide a mountain retreat experience that beautifully balances rustic charm with luxury.
🍽️ **Dining & Facilities**
- **Huizhou Culinary Innovation**: The restaurant, also a converted granary space, draws natural light through its glass ceiling. It specializes in refined versions of traditional Huizhou dishes like 'stinky' mandarin fish and hairy tofu. The cuisine is described as 'exquisite yet affordable, with enough variety to enjoy for three consecutive days without repetition.'
- **Outstanding Amenities**:
- **Infinity Pool**: The rooftop infinity pool offers breathtaking views of the village and distant misty mountains, especially serene at sunset. Unfortunately, it was closed during my stay due to the rainy season.
- **Private Cinema**: A high-end private cinema boasts an ultra-wide screen and immersive surround sound. Other facilities include a lawn play area and a well-equipped gym. After a day of exploring, relaxing on the king-size bed while watching a movie is incredibly comfortable.
💁 **Service & Details**
- **Warm & Thoughtful Service**: The staff are welcoming and proactive. They even offer complimentary travel photography services, including makeup and traditional attire, with quick turnaround for photos that beautifully capture the Huizhou aesthetic.
- **A Minor Drawback**: There are no food delivery services available in the immediate vicinity. Guests need to drive or take a taxi about 5km to the nearest town for other dining options (such as KFC).
🎯 **Ideal For**
- **Families with Children**: Private hot spring tubs in rooms and ample outdoor space allow kids to roam freely, giving parents a well-deserved break.
- **Design Enthusiasts**: The artistic fusion of granary elements and natural light creates stunning photo opportunities.
- **Seekers of Serenity**: Escape the crowds of Hongcun and indulge in the peaceful mountain tranquility and therapeutic private hot springs.
💎 **Summary**
This aesthetic space, a 230-million CNY transformation of an old granary, is truly picture-perfect – from its private hot springs and infinity pool to its refined Huizhou cuisine. The service is as warm and attentive as an old friend. The only minor inconvenience is that a car is highly recommended for transport. It's an ideal retreat for those seeking an immersive, high-quality stay.
