Hot Springs Hotels in Guangdong, China

This time, the hot spring room we stayed in with the kids was absolutely perfect. It came with a private hot tub, offering excellent privacy, so we didn't have to worry about disturbances. We could soak in the hot spring and enjoy the surrounding greenery – it was so tranquil and comfortable. The room decor was elegant and cozy, the bedding was soft, and the overall environment was clean and tidy, allowing for complete relaxation. The biggest surprise was the hotel's kids' activity center; it completely captured my child's heart! Indoors, there's a craft area, a music and reading room, and a ball pit. Outdoors, there's a sandpit, a climbing area, and a small vegetable garden. The variety of activities is incredibly rich: kids can do crafts, play instruments, and even experience watering plants and gardening – it's full of creativity. My child had a blast playing there, and adults didn't have to worry about entertaining them. Additionally, the Chinese restaurant's offerings were superb. It specializes in authentic Cantonese cuisine, with fresh and genuine ingredients, and the dishes were exquisite and delicious. The hotel's overall service was attentive, and the facilities were comprehensive. It's super suitable for both family vacations with kids and relaxing getaways. It has already been added to our list for a second visit!

Excellent and thoughtful hotel service is one of the reasons we come back every year… Plus, the abundant and delicious temple fair feast truly makes guests feel at ease and leaves a lasting impression… The hot spring facilities are constantly being improved, now featuring two constant-temperature outdoor pools and multiple hot spring baths. My impression is that the hotel is always renovating its hot spring facilities, continuously offering guests new experiences… Finally, regarding the guest rooms, overall they are quite refined and comfortable. However, the biggest point of complaint, and also the most honest suggestion, is that the TV screen is too small and old. It hasn't been updated for many years, leading to limited entertainment options in the room. I hope hotel management genuinely takes this seriously!

Traveling on a weekday during off-peak season, the hotel was very thoughtful and upgraded us to a family room with bunk beds. My child loved it, especially since the bunk bed was shaped like a car. If you go to the Animal Hot Spring at night, many of the animals are already off duty, so you won't see them. Breakfast was decent, nothing special. The only negative experience is a common issue with Chimelong hotels: rooms are often not ready for check-in until after 4 PM. However, since we went straight to the amusement park, it didn't really affect us. The front desk said they would send a message with the room number after check-in, but by 5 PM, I still hadn't received anything. I had to call the hotel myself to inquire about the room, which directly caused a delay in my luggage being delivered to the room.

This stay was great! The hotel is in a great location with convenient transportation and there are many places to eat and shop around. The room is spacious and bright, the facilities are very complete, and the bed is very comfortable, which made me sleep well all night. The loss prevention lady at the gate was very nice and helped me carry my luggage to the front desk. The front desk girl Qiong Qiong who checked in was also very nice. The staff were very warm and thoughtful, which made me feel the warmth of home. The breakfast was rich in variety and tasted very good, which made me look forward to it every day. It is especially worth mentioning that the hotel gym facilities are very good, and you can enjoy a quiet and luxurious accommodation environment. In short, this stay was very satisfactory and I will choose this hotel next time.

The environment was quiet and beautiful. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a friendly cat. Dinner was served à la carte, and while delicious, the portions were a bit large; two people couldn't finish it. The restaurant was very clean, had a private hot spring, and was extremely comfortable and relaxing – a perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle and unwind. The restaurant is very close to Gulong Gorge; a taxi ride takes only a few minutes, or about a 20-minute walk. When we left, the owner warmly offered us tea and gave us some elegant cups as a souvenir. We will definitely come back again. Thank you!

It's a very nice place! I recommend it to everyone. Who wants to take a break from the city bustle. The staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast each morning and loved dinner. The convenient location close to major attraction. Clean air, hot springs and swimming pools with spa massage is awesome. The hotel rooms are clean, cozy, the cuisine is delicious. The hotel staff helped me in many ways. Thank you very much to the hotel managers - Ms. Merry, Ms. Cindy and friendly Mr. Junberry. I was completely impressed with their professionalism and customer service. We will definitely come again!

The room was spacious, bright, and reasonably clean, though I did notice some sticky residue on the vanity, seemingly left by the previous guest. The hotel boasts numerous hot spring pools on the hilltop and in grottoes, and the swimming pool is perfect for those looking to exercise. Surrounded by mountains, the air quality is excellent. We found the crayfish to be decent. However, I was disappointed that the complimentary beer, which was advertised, is apparently no longer offered after July. The buffet breakfast offered a good variety of dishes. A significant drawback for us was the scarcity of EV charging stations; we couldn't find an available spot to charge our car. Given that the hotel has been open for 10 years, some of its facilities are starting to show their age. Overall, it was an acceptable experience.

I had booked this hotel last week, but had to cancel it temporarily due to a typhoon. Fortunately, I finally got the chance to stay here this time. In fact, we have stayed at several other nice hotels in Shuangyue Bay before. We chose this one because it is currently the newest and best hotel in the area. During our check-in, we would like to express our special thanks to Judy for her thoughtful arrangements. She not only proactively upgraded our room, but also gave us a complimentary fruit platter and even extended our check-out time. Every little detail made us feel extremely warm. Overall, we were very impressed with this hotel. As a new hotel, it has complete and well-functioning facilities, The room is extremely spacious and the environment is very clean and tidy. What's more noteworthy is that the hotel itself is equipped with an excellent scenic area. There are mountains, waters and multiple viewing platforms in the scenic area, which all my family members really loved. Thanks to this wonderful stay experience, I believe that when we come to Shuangyue Bay next time, we will still choose to stay at this hotel.

This is our second vacation here, and this time we brought the elders along. The environment is beautiful and quiet. The treasures in the Redwood Museum were truly stunning, and the hotel's dining is also top-tier for its category. Many five-star hotels offer a wide selection for breakfast, but honestly, most of it is pre-made. Your breakfast, however, is mostly freshly prepared, with a real home-cooked feel to it, which the elders particularly loved. Dinner was also excellent, with superb dishes. My only suggestion for next time is to ask guests in advance if they'd like to use the hot springs, so they can be prepared and enjoyed sooner. This time, I saw the hot spring pool was empty and couldn't find the switch, so we missed out.
