I found this hot spring hotel online, and after seeing the good reviews, I decided to book a stay to try it out. The online reviews were absolutely right – the environment is beautiful, the facilities are excellent, and the rooms are comfortable, spacious, and spotlessly clean. The natural volcanic hot springs and pools have crystal-clear water, offering an incredible experience that instantly brought me immense satisfaction. Furthermore, the front desk service was incredibly welcoming; check-in was smooth and fast, and they patiently and meticulously answered all my questions. With such a comfortable environment and excellent service, I didn't hesitate to extend my stay.

The room was clean, tidy, and modern, fully equipped with everything you could need. It offered excellent value for money and a great location. There's a dedicated shuttle service for both check-in and check-out that takes you directly to the hotel. After a 5-minute walk down a small alley, you're right on the bustling South Street, making it a perfectly quiet retreat amidst the action. The hotel is very high-class, the bedding is incredibly comfortable, and they even offered a clothing experience. The front desk staff and all the other employees were incredibly friendly. Plus, there was free afternoon tea, fruit, and a complimentary souvenir. Overall, it's the most satisfying hotel we've stayed at recently 😊😊.

This place has its own dedicated parking, conveniently located right behind Xinzhou Ancient City, making it super easy to get around. Charging and fueling your car is a breeze. You can bring back anything you buy in the ancient city and enjoy it at your leisure in your room. The private hot spring in the courtyard was a great experience – perfect for soaking while munching on snacks and sipping tea. It even has a retractable roof with lights, so you can enjoy it at night too. The service was top-notch; they provided a pet gift package and a welcome gift, which our dog loved! The staff were incredibly responsive, charming, and generous. We'll definitely be back!

For accommodation in Pingyao Ancient City, seriously, just book Chengfu JinYuan! It's a courtyard transformed from an old Jin merchant's mansion, full of ancient charm yet not outdated. The courtyard scenery is absolutely picturesque, offering tranquility amidst the hustle and bustle, guaranteeing a super peaceful night's sleep. The location is truly unbeatable – very close to the main street, making it easy to go out and explore, yet far enough from the noise when you return to the courtyard. The rooms are spotless, the bedding is soft, and the bathroom facilities are clean and functional, ensuring maximum comfort. I have to specifically praise the service; it was attentive and considerate throughout, without being intrusive. When guests were dining, they would proactively offer appropriate utensils and even brought warm millet porridge – these small details truly warmed my heart. They also provided travel routes for outings and offered pickup/drop-off services upon arrival. It's not overly commercialized, full of human warmth. Staying here in Pingyao is an absolute no-brainer; I'll definitely choose this place for my next trip! The beef noodles are incredibly delicious.

Let me talk about the pros. The breakfast was quite plentiful and tasty, 68 yuan per person. Our child, being 15, paid an extra 40 yuan. We booked three rooms together. The rooms were decent for a five-star hotel, and the lobby was beautiful. Now for areas for improvement. Aside from the good security guard at the entrance, the service could be better. Since it's a hot spring hotel, the hot spring itself is important, but it was rather mediocre. Of the 12 pools, some were 58 degrees Celsius, some 48 degrees, and only a few were usable and small. Also, because so many people were crammed into a few pools, they became quite dirty. All three families stayed for an hour before leaving. There were too many access control points. For a hotel in such a remote area, I don't understand why there were so many access control points and card swiping systems; it was very inconvenient. I have to do something the next day. The proprietress specially asked someone to drive us there. The red envelope was also confiscated. , I feel really embarrassed Focus on the weather in Datong. I came from Hangzhou. Hangzhou was really stuffy and hot in July. The body temperature felt fast at 40 degrees, and the body was always sticky. But as soon as I arrived in Datong on the evening of July 19, there was a dry cool breeze out of the airport, and I felt that the whole person was comfortable. At night, there was no window in the room, the wind wrapped in dry air and gently blown in, the cover was just right, and the air conditioner was not needed at all. I slept until dawn. In the morning, the skin is refreshing, and the hair is not as easy to oil as in Hangzhou. This dry summer night is really enjoyable for southerners. Let's talk about the room. The first feeling of pushing the door in is spacious, clean and comfortable. The overall decoration is the kind of simple log wind, the wall is warm white artistic paint, the floor is covered with light-colored wood brick, and it is not cold to step on barefoot. There are not many furniture, but everything is very textured - a big bed facing the floor-to-ceiling window, a rattan-made recliner by the window, a small coffee table next to it, a kettle and cups are placed in wooden trays, neat and neat. What surprised me most was that when the curtains were opened, I could see the quiet street view and the distant mountain shadow. The light came in during the day, and the whole room was warm. The bedding is made of cotton and hemp, it is very comfortable to sleep close to the body, the pillow is just soft and hard, it is also considered that I have stayed in so many hotels, and the experience is ranked in the top 10 😂 What I want to boast about most is the private soup in the room. The soup pool is embedded in a corner of the window. It is not big, just enough for two people to soak in side by side. When the water vapor is steaming, it has a special atmosphere. The boss was very sincere and told me directly that this was a real hot spring from the underground. A few kilometers next to it was a volcanic group. The water temperature was about 35 degrees, not hot or cold, and the whole person was loose from the shoulder to the sole of his feet when he soaked in. I soaked for about half an hour, and I could obviously feel that my skin was slippery. I was tired during the day and was soaked in hot water. The boss said that the water contained sulfur and metasilicate. After the soak, it was really transparent and I slept very heavily at night. And when you soak in the soup, you don't have to go out of the room, wear a bathrobe and walk two steps to get into the water, how long you want to soak for, this privacy and convenience is incomparable to the hotel's public pool. The decoration style of the whole homestay is also very unified. From the lobby to the corridor to the room, it is the kind of clean log with warm light, no fancy decoration, but every corner makes people feel comfortable and relaxed. The proprietress said that the design was her own eye, and it could be seen that it did take a lot of thought. The next morning, the proprietress came to ask if she slept well, talked a few words, and stuffed a small gift when she checked out. As the first guest, I was really a little drummed at first, but I found that the bedding was comfortable, hot water was sufficient, and soundproofed. I used my heart everywhere. If you are tired of the sticky summer in the south, want to find a quiet place to blow the dry wind, soak in real hot springs, it is worth a visit here. I am not dragging, this is the real feeling of the day from the 19th to the 20th. I wish the new store is getting better and better, I must try the dinner next time, hahahahaha

The room was very clean, exactly as advertised, and all the facilities were brand new. The lighting's zone function was particularly good – thumbs up! The location was easy to find, right in Southeast Yili. The butler service exceeded my expectations. Because I got my Fenglinge restaurant number late, I discovered they had stopped issuing numbers. I contacted the butler to ask if they could help me get a number (actually, there are two Fenglinge restaurants in the old town; it was the main branch that had stopped issuing numbers, but I didn't know that). The butler immediately helped me get a number without hesitation, without trying to persuade me to get one for the Southeast Yili branch. Thank you so much! Upon check-in, there were welcome snacks, fresh-cut fruit, etc., and the breakfast was also good. In the evening, they would schedule a time with guests to help with the bath. If you have any questions, you can contact the butler directly. I highly recommend Phoenix Nest when staying at a guesthouse in the old town! Oh, and they give each guest a letter upon check-in, which is a very thoughtful touch.

This hotel is located within the ancient city scenic area, close to an underground parking lot, and not far from Xiurong Academy. There's a bar nearby, which can be a bit noisy, but it didn't bother my sleep. If you're a light sleeper, you might want to check with the hotel in advance. For late-night snacks, they offer congee and pre-packaged snacks like Daliyuan mini breads and biscuits. The breakfast spread is quite comprehensive, though there aren't many hot dishes. The hotel staff are all very polite and provide excellent service, and they even gave me a small souvenir when I checked out. Overall, I'd give it a 9.5 out of 10.

As for the hotel's ambiance and interior design, it speaks for itself, having won multiple design awards. Each room is a private courtyard with its own hot spring, which is the perfect way to relax after a long day of exploring. Five-star rating all around!

When I wanted to stay in the ancient city, my first consideration was parking. The hotel's own parking lot was my primary attraction. Secondly, the hotel's location is excellent, right next to Xiurong Academy. However, it's incredibly quiet at night. The front desk contacted me in advance and provided detailed directions. Upon arrival, we were escorted to the entrance by a barrier. The staff was already waiting in the parking lot, helping us with our luggage and checking us in. Our room had a circular hot spring bath, and the staff provided disposable bath bags and explained all the room amenities. When we checked out, the front desk even gave us corn grown by the owner. It was a truly heartwarming stay. I'll definitely be back.
