Hot Springs Hotels in Zhejiang, China

The location is superb, the environment is first-class, and the views are excellent. I stayed on the 12th floor with a lake view, overlooking Taihu Lake, which offered a fantastic perspective (though sometimes the wind was a bit strong, so I couldn't stay on the balcony for too long). The hotel's decor is magnificent, and facilities like the swimming pool and gym are good. Breakfast was plentiful and varied; it rotated during my two-day stay. The room itself was generally acceptable, but the carpet was a bit old, and there was a noticeable damaged spot that hadn't been repaired. Service was hard to describe. After check-in, a butler added me on WeChat and I told them I wanted to check in around 1 PM, and the butler said they would relay the request. However, at the front desk, I was told the room wouldn't be ready until 3 PM (though in reality, it was available a bit earlier). A fruit plate was delivered after check-in. My Trip.com order included a daily dining package. The front desk staff seemed to misinterpret it, telling us it was one package per order (we stayed for three days and two nights). I must praise Trip.com; after communicating with them, the hotel reluctantly agreed it was one package per day (meaning two packages for a three-day, two-night stay) and told me I could just go directly to the restaurant as it was included in the order. But did you think that was the end of it? When I went to Shuyu Chuan for dinner, the owner asked for meal vouchers, so it took a long phone call to sort it out. The next day, before going to Mian Baifu, I first went to the front desk to get vouchers and mentioned the issue at Shuyu Chuan. The front desk still didn't give me vouchers, saying I could just go directly. And sure enough, the same thing happened; the owner also asked for vouchers, leading to another ten-minute phone call. I've never seen such service at a five-star hotel. If they were so unwilling, why didn't they just cancel that bundled order? Furthermore, regarding the package issue, it was me who called Trip.com to coordinate and resolve it, yet the butler on WeChat still acted as if she had helped me obtain some special privilege. The order also included a daily entry to the 25th-floor Xuan Bar (starting at 7:30 PM, including two soft drinks and snacks). I must commend the staff there; the Xuan Bar also had a pool table, and we had a great time.

Found the treasure of Jiaxing parent-child travel - Qingchi Hot Spring Hotel! It's really worry-free to bring your baby here! As soon as I entered the hotel, the child was attracted by the outdoor non-powered park! The large lawn is equipped with a grass slide, climbing net, seesaw, swings, and a super exciting giant slide. The child ran and screamed and sweated profusely. The old mother was finally able to completely free her hands with her new friends! When you are tired of playing, take your baby to the hot spring directly! There are more than 30 indoor and outdoor hot springs to choose from. The first choice for taking your baby is the children's water area. The shallow pool is equipped with a cute cartoon water spray device, and the child is having fun with a swimming ring. The staff was very considerate throughout the whole process, sending fruits and no need to worry about service problems. Praise the staff Cheng Penghan for sending delicious ice bean curd. I wanted to buy one the next day, but unfortunately there was no stall. When eating buffet breakfast, my daughter spilled the milk. The cleaning lady came over immediately to help clean it up and comforted the child that it was okay. The surrounding attractions are also very convenient, very close to Wuzhen and Nanhu Lake. I sincerely recommend it to all families with children, a one-stop solution for walking and relaxing. The only drawback is that there are tomato skins on the rims of the cups in the bathroom. I don’t know which batch of guests left them, but they are still there. The floor is not very clean either.

The hotel environment was elegant, and the service was quite warm. However, the cancellation policy is really inhumane. I booked it for my family, drawn by the environment. I booked it at midnight for a stay the next evening. But after sleeping for one night, three out of seven of us started coughing and having runny noses. I immediately contacted the hotel, explaining that our group might pose an infection risk and hoped to cancel. Since the total booking time was less than 12 hours, even Trip.com customer service agreed that cancelling in such a situation was for the health of other guests and wouldn't tie up hotel resources. But the hotel insisted they would not allow a cancellation. If we canceled, we'd have to follow their cancellation policy and forfeit 50% of the room fee. Fine, so we went. Once at the hotel, we didn't dare use the hot spring, so we just sat by the pool and soaked our feet. Then, when I opened a towel, there were other guests' false eyelashes on it 🤦‍♀️. And that was pretty much the end of it. It was almost 2,000 yuan per room, and while it said it could accommodate three people, the third person was on an extra bed. As a woman, I felt like I'd fall off if I turned over, and it wasn't long enough for an adult male; I, a woman, barely fit. The breakfast was the most disappointing. A 40 yuan breakfast voucher per person, and if you ordered over, you had to pay the difference. This is the first time in all these years I've stayed in a room at this price and been served breakfast of this caliber. Since I was traveling with elders, I didn't want anyone to be unhappy, but perhaps my expectations were too high, and overall, I was very disappointed. The hotel bed was so uncomfortable. As a result, because everyone didn't rest well, we didn't continue sightseeing in the ancient town the next day; we just went home to catch up on sleep. I also got a worse cold because of the poor rest, and enduring a 10+ hour flight while sick was quite difficult.

Staying at Xianghu Xiaoyao Manor this time made me realize that Chinese hotels are in no way inferior to big international chain hotels. Everything, from hygiene and hardware facilities to service, was top-notch, and the environment was especially beautiful. I used to think that only chain hotels could guarantee good hygiene, service, and F&B, but Xianghu Xiaoyao Manor truly impressed me. I'd definitely stay here again if I get the chance.

My stay at Angsana Zhoushan was an excellent experience. Nestled between the mountains and the sea, the hotel offers a tranquil setting. The lobby's design blends modern and Eastern aesthetics, creating a striking atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with lush greenery outside the floor-to-ceiling windows. The bedding is soft, the amenities are comprehensive, and the attention to detail demonstrates quality. I particularly loved the outdoor hot spring, which blends seamlessly with the natural landscape and is truly relaxing. The staff were enthusiastic, professional, and responsive. The butler-like service provided by the beautiful Xiaoyu was attentive and responsive, which was incredibly satisfying. I visited almost all the attractions she recommended, which was a delight. I also loved the unique hotel bead necklace Xiaoyu presented upon check-in. The Chinese restaurant serves exquisite Cantonese cuisine, especially the local specialties, which were truly memorable. The lobby bar manager was welcoming and even offered complimentary vanilla ice cream. During my free time, I enjoyed strolling through the hotel gardens, listening to the breeze and admiring the ocean, enjoying the tranquility of a retreat from the hustle and bustle. Angsana is the ideal choice for a relaxing getaway and is highly recommended for travelers who value quality and a natural experience.

The building has a strong sense of design and a Mediterranean style. It is just 200 meters away from the gate of the Panda Tribe. At night, this is the only homestay with bright lights on the top. There is a small parking lot. As soon as the car stopped, the service staff came up to help with the luggage. The room is clean and simple, with floor-to-ceiling windows, a large projection, a water purifier and a lazy recliner, as well as 6 packs of snacks and Sprite Coke. The breakfast is clean and rich, with a combination of coarse and fine grains, and the porridge is especially good. Before leaving, they also gave me a souvenir (see Figure 1). I need to change my phone to post the pictures inside the hotel, so I'll write it down first.

I came to Qiandao Lake for the weekend and stayed at this lakeside B&B. We are a family of four traveling with a baby, and we chose an 80-square-meter room. The interior is very spacious and tidy, just like the photos taken by the merchant. Children love the large floor-to-ceiling windows and the long bay windows. I loved the little touches like the lighted mirror and Dyson hair dryer, and the electric curtains. The butlers Xiao Tao and Xiao Song provide meticulous and thoughtful service. The breakfast was also very rich, and the aunt who prepared the meal was very considerate and asked us if we were full. They also gave us souvenirs before leaving. It was a very pleasant stay experience😊

I chose this hotel for a long time before coming to Shaoxing. When I arrived at the hotel, I was pleasantly surprised by the outside environment. I checked in very quickly. The little girl at the front desk introduced the details. The room was quite big, clean and tidy. It was bright and had a disposable toilet and a disposable bathtub cover. This was a surprise. I dispelled the psychology of wanting to take a bath and being afraid. I took a comfortable hot bath to relieve the fatigue of the journey. There are washing machines and dryers. The bedding is comfortable. The breakfast is good and rich, especially the small wontons. Not far from the scenic spot, walk for about 10 minutes to Lu Xun's former residence

We absolutely loved our stay here! The room design is gorgeous, we had a loft room that felt very authentic and stylish. The whole place is so tranquil and nestled in nature. Highlights for us were the unique Chinese breakfast and the unbeatable location right next to Shuanglong Cave (which is incredible by the way; and do not get intimidated by the queue, the cave entry process is very organized). The staff went above and beyond, even helping ALL GUESTS get tickets so they skipped the queue! They were incredibly attentive to all guests’ needs over WeChat, which we really respected. We also received free tickets to various attractions including to the cave. The in-bathroom onsen was also a fantastic touch. A couple of small things to be aware of: 1. The bathroom sliding doors in our room weren’t very smooth to open and close. 2. The toilet (and I mean the toilet bowl, not the toilet room/bathroom) is really close to the bed (less than a meter), which might be awkward if you're a shy blader. 3. If you're driving, the GPS can take you on some nightmarishly narrow village roads (barely wide enough for one car!). Just a heads-up, though this isn't the hotel's fault. All in all, we had a wonderful time and would definitely return. A solid 9/10 from us!

The room is very big, with three floors. There is a spa room, a mahjong room, and a private outdoor hot spring. It was windy that day, so I contacted the housekeeper and someone came to clean up the leaves immediately. I would like to give a special mention to my housekeeper Tina. I have stayed in many five-star suites or villas at home and abroad. I think Tina's service is the most professional and attentive. In addition to the basics, she also sent me all the travel guides in Huzhou. The guides are very detailed, including scenic spot guide maps and performance times. Because of this, this trip to Huzhou was very pleasant and trouble-free. I also left something there and she sent it to me as soon as possible.
