This hotel is much more than just a place to stay — it is a complete family holiday destination designed around children, imagination and creating unforgettable memories. 🌟 Exceptional Service from Shi Jun — A True Credit to the Hotel Before arriving, I honestly considered cancelling our reservation due to communication difficulties. However, one person completely changed our experience — Shi Jun from the front desk team. Shi Jun demonstrated truly exceptional hospitality. Through WeChat, he patiently communicated with us, answered every question and did everything possible to make our stay comfortable. He helped us when we were close to giving up on the reservation, arranged room changes, helped find a suitable place for me to work, assisted when we needed to visit the hospital, and continued to care about every detail of our family’s needs. His professionalism, kindness and genuine concern for guests represent the very best of hospitality. Shi Jun is a young man who is a true credit to Fantasy Jialebi Theme Hotel. For his service alone, I would give 10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. 🌟 Beautiful, Spacious and Immaculately Clean Rooms The room was one of the biggest highlights of our stay. It was beautiful, spacious, comfortable and extremely clean. The family design created a warm and welcoming environment, with excellent bedding, a well-maintained bathroom and plenty of space for parents and children. For families travelling with young children, cleanliness and comfort are essential — and Fantasy Jialebi Theme Hotel truly delivered. 🍳 Excellent and Abundant Breakfast The breakfast was another highlight. There was a fantastic selection of food suitable for both adults and children. The variety was impressive and provided a great start to each day. 👨👩👧 A Wonderful Family-Friendly Environment The greatest strength of this hotel is its understanding of families. Everything is designed with children in mind, creating a place where children can feel excited, happy and full of imagination. Our child especially enjoyed the family atmosphere, and it was wonderful to see so many families creating happy memories together. ❤️ Great Potential with Some Areas for Improvement The hotel has an excellent foundation: beautiful rooms, a fantastic concept, wonderful family facilities and a great location. With some improvements, it has the potential to become one of the best family resorts in Anji. 🌍 International Guest Communication As an international guest, communication was sometimes challenging. Unfortunately, none of the staff members we met could speak English, and some were reluctant to use translation tools. Basic English support or greater willingness to use translation applications would greatly improve the experience for overseas visitors. 🧑🍳 Breakfast Service Professionalism Although breakfast was excellent, we noticed the chef using his phone in the breakfast area during service time. For a family resort with such great potential, maintaining professionalism in all public areas is important. 🌙 Night Reception Service At approximately 5:00 am, we needed assistance because our room key required reactivation. Unfortunately, nobody was immediately available at reception. A 24-hour guest service presence would improve the overall experience. 🚗 Arrival Experience The entrance creates the first impression. We noticed the security staff member appeared distracted using his phone and smoking rather than actively welcoming guests. During the National Day holiday, I brought my whole family to Qiandao Lake for a vacation. I deliberated for a long time when choosing a hotel and finally booked the InterContinental One Thousand Island Lake Resort. My only thought afterward was: it truly lives up to its reputation as the best hotel in Qiandao Lake. First, let's talk about the scenery. The entire hotel feels like it grew out of Qiandao Lake, exclusively occupying the Xianshan Peninsula. The lake view isn't just a peek from a certain room; everywhere you go, it's like a painting. In the morning, standing on the room's balcony, before the mist dissipated, the distant islands layered one after another. When the sun rose, the entire lake surface turned golden-green, like gold powder sprinkled on a traditional ink wash painting. In the evening, sitting by the lighthouse, the lake's surface slowly transformed from orange-red to deep blue. My family and I didn't need to say a word, just watched the changing light. We could watch birds and clouds from the balcony for half an hour. On the way back, my child kept saying, ”Dad, let's come here again next time.” This kind of scenery isn't for 'checking in'; it makes you slow down. Next, the breakfast. In the past, when staying at resort hotels, breakfast was usually just 'edible.' This time, I was truly impressed. The variety is one thing, but the key is that every item is of high quality. The freshly fried sunny-side-up eggs were cooked perfectly, with tender whites and runny yolks. Local ingredients like the Qiandao Lake dried preserved vegetable扣烧饼 (kou shao bing) were prepared even more meticulously than in outside restaurants. My son was particularly fond of the Western bread and salad station, dragging us there for refills every day. What's even more commendable is how quickly dishes were replenished. Even with so many guests during the holiday, popular dishes were refilled promptly, and the staff were diligent in clearing plates, so our table never piled up with dirty dishes. The concierge service was the most pleasant surprise. Upon arrival, the concierge took our luggage, and after the front desk assigned our room, they promptly delivered it, which was very reassuring. One detail particularly touched me: we took a bus out once, and the young lady at the entrance actually gave water to the taxi driver and instructed him to take good care of us and get us to our destination. If the hotel treats taxi drivers like this, I imagine they would be even more attentive to guests 😊 There were so many activities at the hotel that we couldn't get enough. On the afternoon of our first day, we participated in the Xianshan hike. The route was well-designed, with moderate intensity, offering lake views and forests along the way, so even children could manage it. We also learned about the origin of Xianshan, which has a love story: 'Only envy mandarin ducks, not immortals' – that's where the name Xianshan comes from. On the second morning, my son participated in the hotel's parent-child nature craft activity and didn't want to leave. In the afternoon, I took my wife to a nap activity, and she came back and told me, 'It's been a long time since I've had such peace and quiet.' In the evening, we swam in the pool for a while, and then watched a movie. We were initially worried that two days would be boring, but our schedule was packed, and we still felt like we wanted more. Whether it's activities for seniors, children, or individual interests for couples, everyone can find something to enjoy. This is what a resort hotel should be like. Finally, the conclusion: I've stayed at many hotels in Qiandao Lake, but the InterContinental One Thousand Island Lake Resort is truly unique. The price isn't cheap, but every penny you spend shows its value, unlike some hotels where you pay a high price only to find they only win on 'reputation.' For family trips, traveling with elderly parents or children, or just wanting to find a place to unwind for a few days, choosing this place won't disappoint. P.S. The hotel's bougainvillea are very beautiful.

The room is very clean, comfortable and hygienic. Children like it very much, but I feel it is more suitable for couples because the design of the bathroom is a bit inconvenient for parent-child families. There is also a bathroom on the first floor, but there is no shower. Parents of the opposite sex have to take a shower in advance. Other than that, it is almost full marks. The service is very, very, very good. The brothers are very handsome and the sisters are also very beautiful. They have a strong sense of service. The housekeeper is responsive to every request. A care package is provided every day, which is a canvas cosmetic bag that can be taken away. The toiletries are lelabo, and there are enough drinks. The restaurant is not big, so make reservations in advance. The food is very delicate and the taste is good. Afternoon tea and hot spring bath are also provided. It is very, very, very comfortable!

My husband booked this healing hotel by the Xixi Wetland for our anniversary, and it was incredibly romantic. The theme room that Xin Hotel decorated for us was so thoughtful, even my husband was surprised! The hotel's private butler service was excellent, almost always responsive. The private hot spring, where you can hear birds chirping, even used herbal and plant essences designed to balance the five elements. The whole trip was so enjoyable and made for our most unforgettable anniversary. Thank you, Xin Hotel, grateful to have found you! Heartily recommend!

Service: The little girl took us to see the house in person. The service was warm, thoughtful and sincere. Environment: The bed is very comfortable, it's quiet at night, and the hygiene is very good The overall experience is very good. I will stay at the hotel again next time and my family will be satisfied.

🤩 The hotel experience was fantastic, with excellent facilities. They even offer many homemade snacks and handcrafted souvenirs as gifts. 🛀 The toiletries are all Bvlgari, and the room was very clean. The only minor issue was that some small towels weren't replenished on the second day, but it's not a big deal. 🎬 In the evenings, there's a water curtain musical fountain and water cinema to enjoy. The whole atmosphere is quite relaxing and perfect for a vacation.

This place is practically a Kyoto-Hangzhou branch, several friends even thought we had gone abroad when I didn't share the location! From the moment we entered to check-in, everything felt so ceremonial: the hand-washing basin, water divination, welcome tea and snacks, making sachets, and a full introduction to all areas and activities. We were even able to check in early, which was a great help as a room was already clean. Right when we arrived, there were chilled noodles in the hot spring area, which were absolutely delicious! Since there were many adults and children in our group, we decided to go out for dinner. When we returned, we went straight for the hot springs. The amenities provided were from good brands and very comprehensive. It was my first time experiencing a Japanese-style hot spring, and it was quite a novel experience. Afterwards, there was delicious chilled milk in glass bottles. The kids had a blast in the hot spring lounge area, happily devouring fruits, snacks, drinks, and ice cream. After a round of fun, it was time for late-night oden. The adults were full and content, returning to their rooms to rest. The next day's nine-compartment breakfast looked small but was incredibly satisfying. This was truly an extremely, extremely, extremely, extremely unexpected and perfect hot spring trip. If you're coming to Hangzhou, you should definitely plan to visit this place! 😆

After reserving, I received a courtesy call from the hotel, and we then connected on WeChat since I don’t speak Chinese. The hotel introduced me to Long, the housekeeper, who coordinated our entire stay with great care and attention. Before our arrival, they asked if we had any special requests. As my wife and I were celebrating our anniversary, I asked them to decorate the room with flowers—and they did a beautiful job. They also asked about our dinner and breakfast preferences and were impressively organized in their preparations. We arrived on a Saturday afternoon, but our taxi had trouble locating the hotel. I called Long, and he immediately came out to meet us—a huge help! When we checked in, they welcomed us with refreshments and even surprised us with a complimentary room upgrade. The room had a bathtub, which our three-year-old son especially loved. To our delight, they had thoughtfully prepared a child’s hygiene kit for him, including kid-friendly soap, shampoo, and a dental kit. We also received a handwritten note, a fresh fruit bowl, and a lovely bouquet of flowers. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, spotless, and very tastefully decorated. There’s a small indoor play area for children, including a slide, tent, and games—our son played there every day. We also enjoyed strolling around the grounds and spending time at the scenic swimming pool, which is nestled in the mountains. The food was another highlight: we had a delicious Chinese dinner and a traditional Chinese breakfast, both full of flavor. Throughout our stay, Long was incredibly helpful and made our trip truly special. Thank you, Long! I highly recommend Lost Villa. They have other locations as well, and we’re definitely looking forward to staying with them again.

We stayed at this resort for a two-night, three-day trip, and while the building and location were visually impressive, our overall experience fell short of expectations, especially for international travelers. First, the golf course was not well-maintained and did not resemble the pristine images shown online. Additionally, while the archery court was fine, it lacked proper safety protections, making it a concern for families traveling with young children. Despite being branded as an Italian resort, there was no functioning Italian restaurant during our stay, which was quite disappointing. Even though the breakfast was really good, the food options for lunch and dinner were very limited, especially for non-Chinese guests. As visitors from Nepal, we found it difficult to enjoy the meals, and one member of our group who is vegetarian struggled even more to find suitable food options. There were no alternative dining options nearby, so if you don’t bring snacks or food with you, your choices are extremely restricted. Another challenge was the language barrier. Only one staff member could speak basic English, which made communication quite difficult at times. While the venue might be suitable for events like weddings or photoshoots due to its scenic appearance, it’s not ideal for a relaxing getaway unless you come with your own activities planned. Without that, there isn’t much to do onsite, and the lack of entertainment, food variety, and language support made the experience feel isolating. Overall, this resort has potential, especially in terms of architecture and ambiance, but it still needs significant improvements in service, food, and international accessibility to truly be welcoming for global guests.

I specifically chose the Brettonwood Resort for my trip to Qiandao Lake this time, and the overall stay exceeded my expectations – it was absolutely fantastic! Our butler, Mei Mei, was incredibly attentive and deserves a special shout-out! The hotel's location is excellent; I could enjoy the stunning lake and mountain views right from my window. In the mornings, there was a beautiful mist, and in the evenings, gorgeous sunsets. The scenery was truly breathtaking. The front desk staff were warm and patient, and the check-in and check-out process was smooth. Any requests were handled promptly. The resort grounds are serene and elegant, with lush greenery and even a petting zoo. The kids absolutely loved feeding the peacocks, ducks, bunnies, foxes, raccoons, and piglets. It's also very pet-friendly. The breakfast buffet offered a rich variety, especially the noodle and vermicelli station with a wide selection of condiments. They even had homemade chili and ginger, which was a real treat for spice lovers. Parking for self-drivers is convenient, and it's particularly well-suited for family vacations. This will be my top choice for Qiandao Lake; I'll definitely be back!
