Orchid Square has given us lovely memories of Coonoor. It was comfortable, clean and the food was excellent. However it was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff that really helped to make our experience here a very good one. The restaurant staff in particular showed good humour. The hotel helped with transport. The wifi connection was good. It was peaceful and our room was spacious with lots of extras like tea/coffee, shampoo/ hairdryer.
The only downside was the distance into town, needing a tut-tut, about 10-15mins travel time. However, we had peace and quiet.

The hotel location was fine and spread-ed over large area. But the overall environment looks dull as we planned on new year eve. The rooms are distributed in different clusters and seems isolated at times. The breakfast was included in package but had only limited options with no live dish option. Overall it was average experience.

The rooms are spacious but not that clean. Bathroom doors not working properly. Parking space is insufficient. It was mentioned free breakfast. There is no breakfast available. No person for buying breakfast from outside. Room service unavailable to buy tea or coffee in the morning. Bed is good to sleep. Calm enough. Good sleep in the night. Nearer to temple walkable
