Hot Springs Hotels in Akita Prefecture, Japan

Couldn't sleep on a futon, so I opted for a Japanese-Western style room. It was quite spacious. There's no central air conditioning, so they use oil heaters. Initially, the smell of lamp oil was really strong and I found it quite off-putting, but after a couple of nights, I gradually got used to it. The breakfast and dinner buffet was a bit simple, but the food tasted pretty good. They even had late-night noodles! The snow view was absolutely stunning and very impressive. The hotel offers a convenient shuttle service to and from JR Tazawako Station.

First of all, I booked this hot spring hotel on Saturday and it cost me 33,600 yuan. I thought I could live in a big room, but everything became a mess after two sleeping mats were laid out at dinner time. We couldn't open our luggage because there was no place, and we had to jump to go to the bathroom because there was no way to go. I was really angry. I booked this hotel because it is a LA VISTA group, but the food, both the ingredients and the taste are worth the price. There are also many snacks, water, Yakult, and fresh milk in the lounge after the hot spring, but there is no juice. This is what I find strange. In addition, we often pass by the counter, and the waiters treat you as air. Anyway, the way of this hotel is to come and go. Just now we checked out and put on our shoes, and they turned around when we said byebye, and didn't even come to the door. Am I really expecting too much?

The hotel environment is quiet, there are not many rooms, and there are fewer people than ordinary brand hotels. The place is clean and the waiters are friendly. The Japanese-style 4-person room has enough space to put four luggage boxes. The outdoor hot spring scenery is beautiful, the washing room is complete with supplies, and the breakfast is The food for dinner is rich and delicious. After eating the Japanese breakfast, you can drink free coffee in the lobby cafe. The accommodation fee is reasonable and we will introduce other friends to stay.

I wasn’t too impressed with the top floor public bath at first but the trick is to use the day use one on the ground floor which is connected. My biggest objection is to breakfast ending at 8:30. Had I known I wouldn’t have booked breakfast in advance.

I made a reservation because I wanted to see the cherry blossoms in Kakunodate. Unfortunately, I was too early and it was farther than I thought! The bus driver and staff were all very kind and friendly. I was touched when they waved goodbye to me on a rainy morning. The food looked beautiful and had a seasonal feel, and the A5 rank beef teppanyaki was meltingly soft and delicious. I was also glad to have the Akita specialty kiritanpo hotpot. However, it was quite flavorful, so I thought it would have been better if they had some white rice. You need a small towel every time you take a bath, so it's better to have two of each. The hotel is close to the main road, which is very convenient for people who drive. The staff is friendly, the room is clean, the breakfast and dinner are delicious, and travelers who like hot springs should not miss it. It is very cost-effective and highly recommended!

My husband and I stayed in a twin room, and the bed was big, the room was spacious and bright, and there was a large public bath in the hotel, so it was comfortable. There was a convenience store right in front of the hotel, so it was very convenient and good value for money. If I come here again, I would like to stay here again.

お部屋が広く、とても過ごしやすかったです。 冷蔵庫の電源が分かりづらく、何か開けた時に目立つ印があると助かります。 お料理も美味しく、野菜がたっぷりで美味しかったです。 朝食も量的質的共に満足しました。 コーヒーがお部屋にももっていける様になっており、有り難かったです。 お風呂は露天はありませんでしたが、日差しが入ってとても気持ちよく、朝になっても肌の保湿感がしっかり残っていました。 わがままを言わせてもらえれば、アメニティは脱衣所の中にもあると、もらい忘れても安心だと思いました。 スタッフの方々の対応も丁寧で、ちょっとしたお喋りにも快く対応してくださいました。 満足して帰路に着きました。ありがとうございました。

Although we visited during the snowy season, we had a very pleasant stay. We were able to relax in the room, restaurant, and open-air bath, while enjoying the pure white scenery. The complimentary midnight noodles were also available at a food stall within the hotel, and were delicious.

The private room dinner was about 11 courses and we got tired of eating!! Super fresh seafood. The servers were super polite, Knowledgeable, and explained everything in detail despite the language limitations. The hot water is salty and soothing for the skin. Breakfast buffet had continental items; a plus.
