The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Sannomiya, Kobe's busiest area, and 3 minutes from Motomachi Station. Downstairs is Nanjing Town, full of Chinese restaurants, which is basically Kobe's Chinatown food street. It's very convenient for dining, drinking, and shopping. The hotel's top floor has a sauna and hot bath, along with various free cold drinks and coffee. From 9:30 PM, they also offer complimentary special soy sauce ramen as a late-night snack. The room isn't huge, but it has everything you need; two large suitcases can be opened up without a problem. They don't provide daily cleaning service, but if you leave your trash and used towels outside the door, the staff will collect them and provide fresh ones. Overall, everything was excellent and quiet. Every day I'd wake up and it would already be almost 10 AM! 😂 I would definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit.
Hotel is perfect for family. Kids can experience traditional Japanese living style. Hotel 2nd floor has new opened buffet restaurant with reasonable price 3rd floor has hot spring. Hotel upgrade me to a bigger room and my son like the place we extended our stay for 1 more night. Will book again in the future
During my trip to Kinosaki Onsen, I chose to stay at the Kiraku Hotel. The overall experience was very good and I gave it a 4-star rating. The following is my experience of staying here for your reference.
Rooms and Facilities
The hotel has an elegant environment and is full of the atmosphere of a Japanese hot spring hotel. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the hot spring facilities are very comfortable, allowing people to completely relax. However, when I checked in, I found a small stain on the bed sheet, which slightly affected my first impression. Fortunately, after contacting the service staff, they quickly changed the bed sheet and handled it professionally, which made me feel at ease.
Dining Experience
Dinner and breakfast were the highlights of this stay! The kaiseki cuisine for dinner was exquisite and delicious. Each dish showed the freshness and care of local ingredients, especially the seafood dishes, which were memorable. The breakfast was also rich, offering a variety of Japanese and Western options, with high quality, which made people feel good early in the morning. Overall, the dining experience was excellent and was definitely a big plus for the hotel.
Service Quality
In terms of service, the staff was friendly, but the overall service could only be said to be average. The check-in and check-out process was smooth, but when I occasionally needed to actively seek assistance, the service staff responded a little slowly, and felt a little lacking in initiative. For this price, I originally expected more detailed service, but overall it was still acceptable.
Summary
Kinosaki Onsen Kiraku Hotel is a recommended hotel, especially for travelers who like hot springs and food. Although the service has room for improvement, the high-quality dining and comfortable environment made this stay still satisfactory. If the service details can be improved in the future, I believe it will be more perfect!

The hotel is very clean and well-maintained. It's just a short walk to Daimaru and the airport bus stop, right across from Sannomiya Station. The hot springs are also great, though during my stay, some Koreans were showering very rudely, splashing water everywhere, even onto people in the pools. Very uncivilized.
Facilities: Complete
Cleanliness: Excellent, even the remote control was bagged, very satisfied.
Environment: Quiet
Service: Late check-out was very useful.
It was my first time to experience a hot spring hotel. Overall it was very comfortable. Although it is not a new modern hotel, it was a good feeling to experience Japanese culture. There were more Japanese people staying this time. Although we were tourists, the staff entertained us very warmly. Dinner and breakfast were very rich. Although the road is a bit far from the city center, it is still worthwhile to experience this hotel. The room is very large and the scenery is great. It's so spectacular. There are small bugs in the natural environment. It is recommended not to open the windows. Everything else is impeccable. The hotel's care products are also very complete and facial masks are provided. Overall, it is highly recommended.

Overall, the experience was pleasant, with the only minor drawback being the price, which was a bit steep. While I had hoped for a more traditional Japanese garden and architecture, the hotel itself leans towards a modern Japanese aesthetic.
Visiting in summer, gazing at the lush green mountains through the window truly feels like a picturesque framed view, and the hot springs were wonderfully rejuvenating. However, I suspect autumn would be the most opportune time to visit, to witness the mountains ablaze with crimson foliage (assuming the trees aren't evergreen).
A misunderstanding arose at check-out due to unclear communication regarding payment policies between the booking platform, the hotel, and myself. The hotel insisted they had not received the online payment and demanded offline payment for a range of services, including breakfast, dinner, taxes, accommodation, and private onsen. As a customer, I initially thought I was being double-charged, as I had already made a payment online. The total cost for the two-day stay was approximately 221,110 JPY, which converts to roughly 11,000 HKD or CNY.
Upon immediately contacting Trip.com's customer service, they confirmed that our online payment covered both accommodation and meals, and advised that the hotel's demand for offline payment for these items was contentious and unnecessary. It was only later clarified that the payment made on Trip.com was merely a hold to secure the room and would be fully refunded upon check-out.
It's a short walk from Himeji Station, and there are several restaurants and convenience stores nearby, so it's very convenient. The room was clean and spacious enough for one person. I like Dormy Inn because it has a large hot spring bath and laundry in the dressing room. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with conger eel rice, nyumen, Himeji oden, sukiyaki, almond toast, and more.

A great hotel, the hotel is very quaint and has a Japanese style. The room is large, the mattress is very comfortable, and the sleep is good.
The staff is also very friendly and kind.
The hotel's breakfast and dinner are also very rich and delicious.
The hot springs are rotated every day, so you can experience them all.

Stay for one night with breakfast included, and have dinner outside at a pub or bar.
Since it was a weekday, there weren't many restaurants open, but I searched for it on Google and went to an izakaya.
On the way home, we took a detour to a bar district and took a break at the hotel before heading to the public bath.
The breakfast buffet style was satisfying with many items.
Next time I would like to go with a plan that allows me to eat dinner in my room.

I'm fairly certain this hotel used to be the Daiwa Royal Hotel. I've stayed here many times before, even under its previous name, but this was my first visit since the rebranding. Considering the high price, the amenities provided were quite basic. On a positive note, the complimentary drinks and snacks were a nice touch.
The most significant disappointment was the 50-minute wait for breakfast. Had this not been an issue, my stay would have been far more satisfactory. During peak times, such as the busy summer holiday season, I strongly suggest they consider expanding the breakfast area or increasing its capacity. Despite the wait, the breakfast itself was absolutely fantastic. Unfortunately, this lengthy delay significantly impacted our sightseeing plans for the day.

Amazing
QQizongzuizhisadanArima's ”Moon-Running Boat” hot spring hotel is similar to typical B&Bs in China. Room 401 features a single-person golden hot spring on the balcony. Be aware that room 401 is not suitable for couples or groups seeking a private hot spring. The hotel also has private hot springs scattered throughout the mountains. You can register at the front desk in advance and schedule your appointment, even after 11 PM. The hotel claims the spring is self-flowing, known in Japanese as ”moto-yu.” The front desk staff's English was limited, and they spoke no Chinese at all. The man who drove the van that picked us up spoke basic Chinese and had WeChat. He was incredibly helpful, and I give him a thumbs up. This time, I booked a stay with two meals. Honestly, the food was only average, even for domestic travelers. Furthermore, booking through multiple agents on Ctrip presents many drawbacks, making errors more likely.

FFuyunlingfengThe most satisfactory hotel on this trip, the service staff is super enthusiastic and thoughtful. I called the hotel front desk immediately when I arrived at the bus station, and the hotel shuttle bus arrived in about 5 minutes. Don't walk to the hotel by yourself, don't! ! ! The hotel facilities are not bad. The room is not big, but it has everything it should have. The Jintang Hot Spring is really great and washed away the fatigue along the way! I booked a one-night stay and two-night stay. The kaiseki cuisine for dinner was great! The quantity was very large! The quantity was very large! I went back to the room after eating too much, and rested for an hour before going to the hot spring! The next day, I ran directly to the train station, which was very convenient! The hotel provides carbonated cakes and Japanese confectionery. After eating, you can consider whether you really want to buy this as a souvenir.

LLivyC75The ryokan style rooms were a lovely touch. The inclusive dinner came with so many courses that we were absolutely stuffed every single night and the fact that a member of staff helps explain all the dishes and prepares them in front of us felt like a real lovely touch of authenticity and luxury. There are no individual bathrooms in the rooms aside from a sink and toilet but the hotel Onsen is easy to access and comfortable to use. The staff also make the bed after dinner every night and anytime we had questions for reception, they were always happy to help, especially with train station transfer and recommendations and vouchers for different restaurants in town. The hotel rooms have a great view of the mountains as it is slightly off the main road. I would definitely recommend this for couples traveling.

11502117****The hot spring is small, but there are few people, and there are both gold and silver hot springs.
Meals are between 350 and 600 per person, which is pretty good. Breakfast is more than 100 per person, which is quite cost-effective.
The front desk can communicate in English or a translator depending on the personnel situation, and the service attitude is very good.
There was a foreign waiter in the restaurant who said he was learning English, but his English was actually very good.
There were no reviews when booking, so it was a successful adventure.
GGuest UserOur stay was absolutely fantastic. Every single staff member was incredibly friendly, and the room itself was very comfortable. The traditional Japanese-style room (washitsu) was a particularly charming touch. Both dinner and breakfast were exquisitely prepared, and the onsen (hot spring) was wonderfully relaxing. We stayed with my parents and children, and everyone in our group was thoroughly delighted.
YYuliaDJrIt's a lovely hotel in traditional Japanese style. It has a pretty inside garden and an onsen (no private onsens for booking, only common ones for all hotel guests that are divided for males and females). Hotel provides you with a yukata and a haori for your stay (you don't rent it, they are included in price), which is very convenient. When I asked the receptionist if I can buy them, 'cause I loved them so much, she said I can take them for free if I want. I double checked to avoid any miscommunication, but she insisted that I don't have to pay extra for those. Everything in the fridge, including alcohol, is free. Hotel is a bit far from the main street, but has a transfer, so I'd say it's fine. We ordered a dinner and breakfast, and both were absolutely wonderful, had several courses.
PPiwatUpon arrival, the hotel gave us 2 free tickets for aquarium next to the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful with parking valet and our luggage. The room we were in had an amazing view and it is spacious. It’s a Japanese style room and the staff had to come to put out futon for us around dinner time. Communal bath is big with an outdoor onsen. We noticed that they use salt water in the bath and onsen instead of chlorinated water like many other onsen hotel we have stayed in the past. There are 2 restaurants in the hotel but they open rather late at 7 and 8 pm so we didn’t get to try them. Breakfast were the same the whole we stay but they are pretty decent so there is no complaints. I would consider this to be one of the best hotel we have stayed during our trip there.
