The service staff here are very enthusiastic. When you arrive at the hotel, someone will greet you at the door and take the initiative to help you take your luggage and send it to the room. This time I traveled with my children, so I chose the most expensive platinum suite. The room is very large, with an indoor hot spring pool and two large tanks outside for hot springs. It is really great for children who love playing in the water. The hotel also has two public hot spring pools to choose from, which are exchanged every day and can be experienced separately. Meals can only be said to vary from person to person. Maybe I have a large appetite and always feel hungry. The quality is 80 points, which is higher than the quality of ordinary hotel meals. The hotel also provides free pick-up and drop-off services. If necessary, you can make an appointment in advance. When sending us to the station, the staff kept watching us enter the station and kept bowing. It was a perfect Japanese service.
The hotel is a tatami room, and the service was excellent. I arrived early, left my luggage at the front desk, and when I returned in the evening, it was already in my room and the bed was made. The front desk staff were very helpful in microwaving my own bento box. The hotel lobby was decorated warmly, with beautifully arranged fresh flowers throughout. Breakfast was served individually, but unfortunately, there was no milk.
very lovely place! it is new (opened in July 2025). The service from when your car is in the porch (There's a valet), till check out, it was perfect. The onsen was great. It's not as warm as the others but it makes staying in the onsen longer possible. Was pleasantly surprised about the complementary dinner and breakfast! Dinner was great and was paced out so it was just nice. For breakfast it was a buffet spread that was great! I love the selection and freshness. It is in between mountains so the drive might be long but so worth it for the price
Booked an ocean view room (with breakfast and dinner) to celebrate my husband's birthday, tried to ask the hotel a few weeks before departure if a cake could be prepared, was rejected, and no other options (such as ordering a cake on behalf of others are also possible) or arrangements were offered. On the day of arrival, there was a welcome cake for guests 😅, I didn't understand why I couldn't help prepare a birthday cake. This hotel is not recommended if you want to celebrate a birthday or special day.
The rooms were large and the sea view was beautiful, but the quality of the restaurant's buffet dinner was average, and the food and service were really disappointing for a 4-star hotel. The stay was sparsely populated and the occupancy rate seemed not high. Delayed check-out for an hour, the charge is JPY6050, which is quite expensive. overall experience average, stay once is enough, will not return visit.
The hotel's location is super convenient, right across from the South Exit of JR Takeo-Onsen Station! Check-in is after 3 PM, and the staff are very welcoming. There's a main building and an annex, and you use your room key card to access your room. At the front desk, you can find free toothbrushes, coffee, bath towels, and wooden combs. It's a shame they don't offer small packets of skincare products. Also, drinking water isn't provided in the room! There isn't a convenience store right outside the hotel, but there's a small supermarket inside the JR station.
Breakfast is a simple buffet with both Japanese and Western options; the milk is delicious! The annex on the 8th floor has a public bath and a laundry room, and the rooms are quite spacious. You can borrow bicycles from the front desk to get around. Overall, it's a great stay!
Loved the private onsen experience! Breakfast was especially delicious, highly recommend not skipping it for sleeping in, the tofu porridge is something I’ll crave forever.
If you’re arriving by train, there’s a guest info center next to the train station where you can ask them to call the property to pick you up! Very convenient.
Room was immaculate with lots of amenities. Felt incredibly pampered. Location is a little far off from the convenience shops, but there are a number of things to sight-see and nice restaurants within 30mins walking distance.
I've always wanted to soak in a seaside hot spring, and I'm super satisfied.
Get off at JR Hizen-Oura Station and take the hotel shuttle bus.
The men's and women's open-air hot springs are interchangeable, but they are both located at a great location with a view of the sea.
There is also a sea torii gate nearby. The bus leaves every hour. The last bus is around 17:00, so be sure to check the time.
I stayed in several rooms with friends, and they were all satisfied. We booked the hotel three months in advance and enjoyed a great stay at a great price. The hot spring facilities were also excellent, perfect for recovering from fatigue.
After booking the hotel, I was hesitant and worried that it would be bad. I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived at the hotel! Everything is better than expected ^_^Small but beautiful! The front desk staff are friendly and attentive. There was a young man from China at the front desk who gave a detailed introduction to the hotel facilities, dinner reservation times and some sightseeing suggestions in Chinese. On Chinese New Year's Eve, I met a Japanese lady at the hotel front desk (who spoke very fluent English) who gave guests free drinks to celebrate the New Year, which made people feel cordial and warm. There are few people in the hotel's hot springs and they are very clean. Basically every time I go, the restaurant is reserved;) Dinner is a major feature of the hotel and worth experiencing. Although the ingredients don't look amazing, they are actually carefully prepared and high-quality ingredients. The cooking method is not very flashy, which is probably the characteristic of Ureshino. I ate every meal until I couldn't finish it. The Saga beef melts in your mouth, the tiny pufferfish is extremely delicious, the crabs are sweet and plump...^_^The soup tofu for breakfast is soft, glutinous and smooth in the mouth, without any beany smell, and the rich bean aroma is unforgettable.
The appearance picture of the hotel on Ctrip’s official website is different from the actual one! This is actually the first photo I took of this! Much better than what is shown on the official website! Best hotel for traveling with parents!
Hotel is old. Hotel floor corridors are dim. Fulton are too thin. It is the first onsen hotel did not supply body location in the public bath. Room amenities such as facial products, utensils, coffee are not place in the lobby. They are in the front office counter drawer. You have to ask to get it.
But there are special shops inside the hotel. That is amazing. Free welcome green tea for each guest.
Morning 9:00-10:00 public bath stop operate for cleaning.

My stay at Ureshino Onsen Yoshidaya Uchiroji Hondori (also known as Yadoya Uchiroji Hondori) was a tale of two extremes in the charming hot spring town of Ureshino, Saga Prefecture. The hotel was modern Japanese-style with smart check-in system. The twin room was spacious, impeccably clean, and exude serene comfort, making it a perfect retreat. The private onsen facilities truly shine— It was a free slot with 40 mins, which could be booked once via QR Code at the room. Ureshino's famous sodium-rich hot springs, renowned as one of Japan's top three for beautifying the skin, deliver silky-smooth water that leaves you feeling rejuvenated. However, the meal plan was a major letdown. I sent an email to the hotel to confirm my booking and stated I did not eat beef before. The customer service replied I had to pay extra per person in order to change the meat option. For over JPY 38,000 per night including breakfast and dinner, we anticipated premium kaiseki cuisine or traditional served Japanese dinner set. Instead, only a bento box with cold salad and an underwhelming beef and egg pie that felt mismatched for the price. Tragically, my husband experienced vomiting shortly after, likely food-related, which overshadowed our trip. And the breakfast was also disappointing, which was only cold sandwiches with a cup of tea or milk. Thus, I strongly recommend the hotel clearly states the exact contents of dinner and breakfast plans on booking sites—including detailed menus or photos—and offers flexible options, such as plan changes or alternatives, if guests fall ill from the food. This transparency and adaptability would greatly enhance the experience and prevent frustration.
The hotel is located just outside of Takeo-onsen station, making it a great resting place for travelers who travel by JR. Free breakfast is good, though the time limit (30 mins) is a bit tight. Hotspring is relaxing, but a bit too small.
Overall, I had a very pleasant experience at this hotel. It is a large hotel and the price was reasonable for the quality of the stay. The highlight for me was the cleanliness. The hotel also boasts a fantastic amenity: a rooftop onsen (hot spring). It was incredibly relaxing and offered a great way to unwind after a long day of travel. The main downside, however, was the dining options. While convenient, both the breakfast and dinner buffets were quite expensive. There are probably more affordable local options nearby if you are looking to save on meals.
The staff are super friendly and we received a very warm hospitality from them. We appreciate it.Though we could not communicate well as I could just spoke a little Japanese, the ladies would use a translation machine to help. Quite an interesting experience 🤗 The room is very clean and tidy, and the view is amazing.
This is my 2nd visit stay in this Onsen hotel. As January is a low season, occupancy rates are low, we have the facilities like onsen n dining hall to ourselves mostly. ( Which was fantastic). All meals are fantastic - breakfast and dinner - Kaisei style. Great value!
The facilities are fantastic here, it is cleaner than any other place I've been to and the views are unbeatable. Most importantly, the night staff working the front desk made it such a wonderful experience. I am looking forward to coming back in the future, will definitely book again and fell in love with the experience here
