Rawai Beach
Enjoyed our time here, it was relaxing and luxurious. The design of the resort is chic and minimal. Rooms are well equipped (smart TV, normal and beach towels, umbrella, couches, hair dryer), water is provided. Service is top notch from front desk, housekeeping, F&B. Had a great dining experience at Fresca and the rooftop bar. Gym looks very grand with 3 storeys, they also have many (paid) fitness classes and wellness programs. There’s a free shuttle to the Rawai and Nai Harn beach also. Just overall a 5 star experience at an affordable price. Note that location is not the most convenient / walkable and you will need to get transport to travel around, but it’s good to get away from the hustle bustle.

Mai Kao Beach
This is a really beautiful good hotel for those who wanna relax, but for those who wanna clubbing, partying and shopping, definitely not a good place. The staff are really polite and helpful. They clean the room 2 times a day. The breakfast is fantastic, the best breakfast i have ever had in any hotel. Delicious fresh and full of varieties. The pool was fantastic with 1.2 1.5 1.7 2.2 meters depth and a place to sit or stand in the water. Too many beds and umbrellas. ‼️Mindful about the beach, you can’t swim in the sea. There are red flags everywhere !!! But the beach is big and pretty.

Patong Beach
Had very unforgettable journey with family in Phuket. nice location, just on the main road near Patong beach 5 mins away, bars around, 7-Eleven around. 20 mins walk to the shopping center, 5 mins to Malin plaza and 15 mins to Otop on foot. During the last 2 days of our stay we hit the Songkran festival, this gave us lots of fun. The room is bungalow style I specially booked for my little boy for better experience, large bed, light little bit dull, big bathroom but with plumbing problem with toilet everyday. Breakfast fairly good. Watch out Mosquito fight at night. Nice and big swimming pool, not so many people at that moment so we enjoyed a lot.

Kata Beach
I’ve stayed in this gorgeous little hotel for 9 days with my mum, as part of her Birthday Trip in South East Asia and loved every single moment of our time there. Actually for the 1st time I felt like staying in someone’s private, luxurious home rather then the hotel. Mom Tri’s Villa is beautifully furnished in traditional Thai style, very functional on every level and provides it’s guests with possibly one of the best views on Phuket, thanks to it’s picturesque location on a little cliff overlooking Kata Noi Beach and the Andaman Sea. We’ve chosen to stay in an Ocean Wing for the ultimate privacy and tranquility and couldn’t have made a better choice. The staff were all lovely - friendly and approachable. Thank you for a little Birthday treat for my mum - she loved it and so did I. We already miss this little piece of Thai paradise and wouldn’t hesitate for a moment to visit again in the future.

Mai Kao Beach
We were in the same hotel in the last pre-coronavirus spring. Then I also wrote a review here. And so, given the limited choice of destinations available without unnecessary hassles, return to a modest but proven hotel. The main plus is that the hotel is still 1/5 full at best, and most likely even less. Therefore, it seems as deserted and quiet as it was five years ago. Exactly what we wanted - a minimum of human speech, the absence of children's screams, the absence of any entertainment in the hotel, and complete relaxation... We were afraid that the feeling of complete relaxation may not be repeated this year, but it has not gone away, the hotel did not disappoint ... now there were not even the Chinese, who occasionally came 5 years ago to spend the night and disappear in the morning. Accordingly, there are always free sun loungers by the pool, there are always free tables in the dining room, food and fruit do not run out, and so on... The same polite, friendly staff, the same modest breakfasts, but at the same time there is a choice, they will not leave you hungry . What has changed is that the amount of greenery on the territory has decreased somewhat, this is especially noticeable when leaving the reception and on the path from the buildings to the sea. Maybe the new plantings just need time to grow. All rooms in the main buildings have been renovated; the villas are still waiting their turn for renovation. The SPA is also not open yet. The quality of repairs in the rooms leaves much to be desired (in the bathroom, the cracks between the tiles are not sealed everywhere, the pipe outlets are not sealed, the towel shelf looks very unreliable), but so far this is not particularly noticeable. The rooms have become noticeably brighter. Slippers and robe are still included in the room, as well as umbrellas and a kettle with bags for making tea and coffee. From the old - only centralized light control panels. The breaker at the entrance now works only from a card with a magnetic layer; a regular cigarette cardboard does not work. And the cleaning lady constantly strives to take away the second card left for the work of the air conditioner (which sometimes lives its own life and begins to “regulate” the temperature itself), or at least pull it out of the breaker. The location of the sockets is quite inconvenient - almost at floor level behind the bedside tables and behind the TV. And not a single socket in the bathroom at all. So, hair dryer and electric razor users, welcome to the room. Wi-Fi throughout the entire territory, the signal is good, but sometimes it slows down. The connection, unlike what it was 5 years ago, is not lost. It does not require a password. Azur-bar has appeared on the beach, where you can sit on soft ottomans and admire the sunset to the sound of the surf. But the infrastructure around, which was not much before, is completely gone. The site of a small street at the entrance to Le Meridien (ex-Holiday Inn), where there were five restaurants and several shops with fruit, souvenirs, and knitwear, is now a wasteland. The mini-market turned into a micro-market, reducing its retail space and assortment by ¾. The ATM has moved to the Le Meridien lobby. For three hotels (Le Meridien, D-Varee and Melia) there is only one restaurant left on the shore
