Very clean and very comfortable bed. If the room has spare blanket for someone to add on. It will be the best. Also, I do not have extraordinary expectation so breakfast is so far acceptable.
Paradox Hotel Vancouver

Downtown Vancouver
Paradox Hotel is one of the best hotels we have stayed at in a long time. We typically stay at Four Seasons, Fairmont’s, and other hotels similar to these types of hotels. Paradox had first class service starting at the valet (Marty), along with all individuals at the front counter. To top off our stay, we had Andrew from concierges that took great care of us, as he went above and beyond for my wife’s 40th birthday celebration. -I will be writing a person letter to Andrew, for all the amazing things he did to make our stay so memorable. It’s hard to put into words the results of our trip, as all of it was amazing, from the lounge (Megan/Morgan/Vanessa were all fantastic and were extremely friendly. To the Mansion nightclub, where everyone was fantastic and provided amazing service, as we decided to get table service for the birthday celebration. If anyone is contemplating staying at the Paradox, do not think twice about booking, you will not regret it. Also, amazing walking distance to so many amazing shops and restaurants. All-in-all, we will be back to see all the amazing people we met and we look forward to our next trip to the Paradox Hotel.

We stayed in this property for just one night before our Alaska cruise. The location is it's USP and we actually walked down to Canada Place to board our cruise. The rooms are spacious and bright and there is complimentary coffee available in the reception. Eateries are all around and the Pacific Mall is within walking distance. We had a very comfortable stay!

Saanich
When I came to Victoria this time, I first came to explore the road and do some errands on the way. The room is fully equipped for a one-night stay. It is clean and has basically complete facilities. Everything needed is also prepared. There are also two bags of coffee powder. For me personally, it is the best spiritual drink. It is located on Douglas Road between the pier and the city center, making it easy to go in any direction. Because we pay attention to environmental protection, toothbrushes and slippers are not provided, so you can bring your own. The front desk staff are very helpful and you can always ask for help. Toothbrushes and sewing needles are available at the front desk. There is also a set of tables and chairs on the small balcony outside, where you can have brunch when the weather is nice. There is a shopping mall in nearby uptown and a variety of restaurants to choose from. Great stay experience
Riverland Inn & Suites

The good things about this place are location by the river, and the rooms appear to have been updated. However: the sink is directly inside to the right, where the door swings open. The concrete sidewalks around the building and on the way to stairs are terrible...rough, uneven, a tripping hazard. The exterior walls going up the outside stairs are filthy. What looks like former all-weather carpeting on vertical portions of the stairs is torn and dirty. Most of all, we (exhausted from a bad day of driving the previous day), left a suit bag containing about $700 worth of shirts and pants hanging in the closet cabinet. The day after we checked out, we discovered the mistake and called the hotel. When we explained the problem three or four times until the clerk figured out what our problem was, the 'sweet' young woman said she would check with Housekeeping. She took my number. No phone call that day. The second day, a different un-empowered 'sweet' woman on the desk said no note had been left and that housekeeping had not turned in anything. When pressed, she admitted that perhaps no one had actually checked. So the next day I called again and this time connected with a man who seemed to have some authority. He firmly promised he's check with housekeeping. I firmly asked that he actually go to our former room and check the closet. He promised to do that and call me back in 15 minutes. He did not. The next day I called, and was told the man was on a day off. The day after that, they told me the man did not actually work in the office, and that he was off somewhere else in BC, ”checking on our other properties”. I can conclude only two things: either the housekeeping staff stole the clothing and lied when asked, or the next day's guest stole them. If I managed that hotel, I would be humiliated by how the staff treated a guest, pretending to try to help, then not actually lifting a finger, and when confronted, not owning up to and apologizing for the guest's loss

Burnside
This is such a fun hotel! It’s near some busy roads, a mall, and a bunch of restaurants and such, which I guess is nice, but it’s pretty noisy and you’re not going to get a great view from your room or anything. BUT! Where to start? The rooms are clean. My kids and I loved the comic book, stickers, yo-yo, and rotary phone in our room. The hot tub is a little small, but guess what? You can soak in it and keep an eye on your kiddos as they enjoy the indoor/outdoor pool and water slide! Inside the lobby, you can find myriad board games, ping pong, “bowling,” Wii, and even old school typewriters in which you can pluck out that novel you’ve been keeping in the back of your head. The lobby Coffee is better than any in-room coffee another hotel might offer. And speaking of the lobby, the staff here is 110%! I got what I thought was an automated text asking how my state was so far. I said “meh” because we had just checked in and I wasn’t impressed with the area. I got a response from a real person right away! She provided answers to my questions and concerns and even delivered earplugs and silverware and cups to my room later when I needed them! When I was teaching my kiddo how to use a typewriter, the front desk staff didn’t hover over us or anything, just let us do our thing. Last, the little restaurant (open for breakfast and lunch) has a killer breakfast menu and such friendly staff!
Four Points by Sheraton Kelowna Airport

The hotel is near the airport, the quality of facilities is very high, 5 stars, very close to UBC University, there is a free shuttle bus, there is a supermarket shopping nearby, a little far from the city center, about 13 kilometers. Halfway up the mountain.

Downtown Vancouver
The location was good, not core Downtown. Staff was pleasant. Easy check in and check out. Room was clean, with enough towels and toiletries. Fridge was empty, no complimentary water - I later realised this is a Vancouver thing. There is a restaurant by the lobby, where you'll get a 10% discount only if you show your key and you are eating in. The ambience was good, lovely staff especially YuHi. The food was amazing, never had mashed potatoes that much before 😂.
The Westin Resort & Spa, Whistler

I had a great experience at Westin. The room was spacious and clean, packed with amenities and a kitchenette. The restaurant in the hotel provided great meals, attentive service and fair prices. If you like swimming, they have a pool that extends from the inside to the outside. Of course, they also have their famous large hot tubs both indoors and outdoors that everybody visits and loves. 5/5.
