Yabu Loni Hotel Yabuli

Yabuli Water Park
The Yablony Hotel is really ski-in and ski-out. There is a ski center inside the hotel, KFC is downstairs, and the ski center of Sunshine Ski Resort is next door. Very convenient indeed. The snow-view king bed room is really beautiful. Open the window and you can see the cable car and the ski slopes. The only frustrating thing is that I called after 11 o'clock to ask for check-out, but check-in has to be after 14 o'clock. 4 stars for service, 5 stars for everything else.
Ibis Hotel (Harbin Central Street Railway Station)

Harbin Central Avenue/Saint Sophia Cathedral/The Memorial Tower of Fig
The room appears much smaller than on the website but is adequate for solo travelling. Although water bottles was replaced daily, dirty tea cups were never removed or washed during my 4 day stay and I had to rinse them in the bathroom. The trash can was emptied every day but they do not make your bed. The shower head was broken and difficult to handle and the mattress topper was too big for the bed and kept slipping off. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was difficult in the sense that the hotel is situated in a very busy main road, with one way direction and few in between passes, meaning taxis must first drive quite far past the hotel before making a u-turn to turn back to drop you. The downside of using Didi's or taxi's are the rude and impatient drivers. They charged extra high fares during Christmas. We were often gridlocked in traffic, ending up walking back 2-4km to the hotel. Overall I was disappointed in the city itself. Many buildings were rundown and neglected with broken windos and peeled paint, that reminded me of *********************. Streets were very dirty and a nearby school did not make traffic congestion any easier when commuting forth and back to the hotel. Rumours that Christmas is not so busy and a better time to be visiting Harbin, is not true. The crowds spoiled the experience at Saint Sophia Church, especially the influencers who dressed up in ridiculous outfits posing in freezing temperatures at the church staircases and corners, spoiling any photography opportunities. Stalls and shops around the Church were very expensive. I visited a few other churches like St Aleksyev and Jile Temple which was far worth the effort. The highlight of my trip was Volga Manor, Baroque Street and the Songhua Railroad Bridge. Sun Island snow sculptures were very enjoyable, easy to navigate and not congested with people. Plenty of space to walk through the park, play in the snow and take the cable car over the river. The ques are not long from the Sun Island side, but crossing over to Harbin's side, the ques were very long to get a cable car. Danny's Beer in the Baroques Street area is a must visit and offered welcoming, warm and delicious food and hospitality. It's a 4,7km hike from the Songhua River bridge and offered good food at very reasonable prices. I did not visit the Ice sculpture park or light shows because of the three hour waiting cues, too many people and slippery conditions. The Tiger park was a so-so experience and mostly annoying due to people teasing the tigers with meat *****s they cannot reach; all for the sake of a photo opportunity. If you are an animal lover, rather skip the tiger Park. Lastly, a big plus was the public toilets near the Songhua River that were impressively clean.

There is breakfast, there are steamed buns for breakfast, plus side dishes, and two hot dishes, porridge and yogurt, and two steamed buns. We can't eat them every day for small meals. I feel that booking this hotel is really great. The hotel is in a pedestrian street, very close to the train station, with parking, and a very good shop. Friends all agreed. The room is also big, but the setting is a bit old, but it doesn't affect anything. There is also a small refrigerator.
Harbin Kazy Int'l Youth Hostel

Harbin Central Avenue/Saint Sophia Cathedral/The Memorial Tower of Fig
The three times I visited Harbin, I always stayed at the youth hostel in the morning. Because when I went to Mohe, I kept my luggage at the youth hostel for two days. It was really good. You can also play table tennis there. The main reason is that the location is really good, just 50 meters away from the Central Street subway entrance. I will stay here again when I go to Harbin in winter.
Grand Mercure Hotel

Harbin Railway West Station/ Wanda Plaza
This hotel is the most cost-effective hotel I have ever stayed in in Harbin. The overall quality is even higher than that of a 5-star hotel. The lady at the front desk upgraded the room with me. Changsha Xiaodudou who came with me really liked the color of the furniture and doors in the room. The hygiene is very, very clean, 4 bath towels are prepared in the bathtub and shower room, and the bed is very comfortable You can also make tea in the room! ! ! It is recommended to stay in room 529. It is very transparent. Thank you again to the lady at the front desk. I have stayed in 5 hotels in Harbin and this one is the most satisfactory one. In addition, it is super close to the high-speed rail station and the airport. You can get on the expressway immediately after leaving the hotel. You don’t have to worry about traffic jams. It takes about 25 minutes to get to the airport.
Harbin Central Street Huate Hotel (Sofia Church)

Harbin Central Avenue/Saint Sophia Cathedral/The Memorial Tower of Fig
Many of the previous reviews confirmed. We arrived late at night but were able to check in easily. The location was spectacular near many coffee shops and Russian restaurants. We even stumbled upon a nearby karaoke bar on the pedestrian street! It is near enough to walk to the Sophia Cathedral (which is seemingly closed). Ice and Snow World is far enough to need a car but close enough that it’s a quick ride. After hours of touring in the cold, the heated floors were much appreciated. The bathtub was also very nice.

Lovely hotel near to the ice festival so I'm glad that I wasn't too far away from all the sights because it was very cold there. A warm comfortable room and a delicious breakfast.
Harbin Xingsu Youth Hostel

Harbin Central Avenue/Saint Sophia Cathedral/The Memorial Tower of Fig
I never write reviews but i need to tell all trip.com users and potential Harbin travelers that I had a legitimately life-changing experience staying at Xingsu Youth Hostel. The hostel feels like a home - you walk in, and the first floor is a living room/kitchen with a big table and couches and a front desk, the second floor is rooms, and the third floor is the all-female floor with 16 beds, where I stayed. First of all, I was slightly nervous about being in a room with 16 people, but it was so spacious and comfortable and everyone was really respectful, I had 0 issues with noise or anything. There's a nightstand and lamp next to each bed so you can stay up or get up early without bothering anyone. Everything's very clean and warm and comfortable. Great hostel. OK on to the life-changing part. I've stayed at hostels before and met cool people, but at Xingsu I made FRIENDS. When I walked through the door on my second night there, a bunch of people were sitting around the table, the owner of the hostel was making 烧烤 (Chinese BBQ) for everyone, and I was welcomed into the meal/demanded to have a drink with everyone!! We all hung out for many hours that night, and more the next day. Throughout my stay at Xingsu, hanging out with these people and chatting with the owner, it became very clear that the owner is someone who loves meeting new people and building community and facilitates these kinds of encounters. (And not at all in an obnoxious space-taking-up way, but in a genuine way full of attention and generosity.) I learned a lot about being a good human by staying here!!! Even if you're not looking to make new friends and just need a place to stay, you should stay at Xingsu because it's an extremely affordable and comfortable stay in an amazing location (like an 8 min walk from Zhongyang Da Jie, the main pedestrian street)!! In any case you will absorb generous and warm vibes here and will not regret it. <3

*Disappointed after so many good reviews…* We recently travelled to Harbin and after looking at many of the hotels and reading the reviews we decided that this was the hotel for us. However we were shocked to find the poor service and cleanliness during our stay. Location: The location of the hotel is a huge plus point as it’s very close to the central street & not too much of a distance to reach the main tourist attractions (20/30 min taxi ride). The location is also close to lots of restaurants which is very convenient. Service: This is an area which could definitely do with improvement especially the evening staff, upon checkin the staff were friendly and welcoming however when we raised issues with the hotel room they became very rude and disrespectful. When we arrived to our room we found we had no face cloths - not a big issue and one that was resolved in a timely manner. However we then had to ask for the face cloths each day after housekeeping had changed the towels which isn’t an issue in itself more of an inconvenience . However the staff at the front desk seemed to find it quite funny (staff members laughing when we mentioned our room number at the front desk) that we had several issues with our room. Amenities: The hotel has a robot delivery service for when you order food and other items from meituan which is a convenient way to get your things. The shower in the room was broken but was fixed in a timely manner. The room air con is basically just an ornament, the temperature of the room cannot be changed - it was set at 34 celsius one night - you can open a window but it will get cold quite quickly. Cleanliness: Another area with room for improvement - the hotel room is rather dusty with dust falling from the ceiling above the bed. The sink was not cleaned when we checked in. On one occasion we were given ‘fresh’ towels with make up stains on. Unfortunately we would not stay here again.
Park Hyatt Hotel (Harbin West Railway Station Hasi Wanda Plaza)

Harbin Railway West Station/ Wanda Plaza
Quality and service, you can check in with your eyes closed Fully self-service. Good experience, fast service The apartment is clean and of good quality. The bedding is clean and comfortable, the sofa, floor lamp, shampoo and shower all have the feel of a B&B. The view upstairs is good and quiet. You can see the West Station and there is sunshine in the morning It's pet-friendly. You can bring pets. The lady who lives in the building is also very friendly and says hello to pets when they see them. It's a new place, and the business around the downstairs area hasn't started yet, so I guess I'll order takeout for food and drink.
