CONFORT HOTEL ISE Confort Hotel Ise is a 2-3 minute walk from Iseshi Station on the Uji Yamada Line. I stayed for 2 nights on a trip to ISE ｴﾘｱ for 3 nights and 4 days with my wife (the other night is EN HOTEL ISE). The accommodation was ﾃﾞﾗｯｸｽ ｼﾝｸﾞﾙ 2 rooms (room ｻｲｽﾞ 17m2 ﾍﾞｯﾄﾞ width 140cm, ｼﾝｸﾞﾙ ｽﾀﾝﾀﾞｰﾄﾞ ｼﾝｸﾞﾙ16.5m2 ﾍﾞｯﾄﾞ width 120cm). ﾃﾞﾗｯｸｽ ｼﾝｸﾞﾙ I used two rooms because I thought it was more livable than ﾂｲﾝ one, so I used this time because I had a good impression when I stayed last time (March 2020). (EN HOTEL ISE was ﾘﾌﾞﾗﾝﾄﾞ ｵｰﾌﾟﾝ in March this year, so I was worried and stayed for one night). Considering the atmosphere of ﾛﾋﾞｰ, the soft water on the second floor, the room ｻｲｽﾞ and ﾍﾞｯﾄﾞ width, breakfast content, etc., it is a stable accommodation. The [sea] that I had dinner when I stayed before was on the 2nd floor, but the [ｲﾙﾏｰﾚ (ｲﾀﾘｱﾝ)] on the 1st floor disappeared and moved to the 1st floor. Also, there is ｺｲﾝﾛｯｶｰ (free) exclusively for guests, which was very convenient for storing luggage after ﾁｴｯｸ ｱｳﾄ (see attached photo). On the other hand, the point that I was worried about staying this time was that the ﾃﾞｽｸ and ﾍﾞｯﾄﾞ ｺﾝｾﾝﾄ were rough, and ﾃﾞｽｸ ﾃﾞｻﾞｲﾝ sex was also ﾁｮｯﾄ old.

The most important thing - Internet access! Terrible. Wifi keeps falling, and I need to reset the Wifi on mobile and the laptop. VPN is no way. Zoom didn't work, either. Just pathetic. With the third call with the front desk, I got a router, which never had a Wifi signal and was useless. I ended up bringing out my Rakuten pocket router, and it was able to make my day, whew!  I'm sure the hotel staff would help till I get the comfortable internet access. I tried but lost a patience after having called them three times (I was 7-minute late for my Zoom meeting, being hassled to get connected, that should be a good reason to take one star down, too).2. I wanted to use the big bathtub for a comfort from my long trip, but I got hesitated to pass through the front area and didn't go and use. The hotel allows the guests to wear Yukata and Tanzen to come to the bath, but I didn't want to. I don't get how the guests can be comfortable in Yukata in lobby. Even with my regular clothes, well, I couldn't imagine myself passing through the people at the front desk right after taking the bath... I've never seen a hotel with such a awful bathroom location, so one star down, definitely. お伊勢参りが目的で、でも仕事があるためこのホテルを予約しました。インターネットアクセスがマストなるも、結局使えず、セットアップに悪戦苦闘しただけ。ホテルのロケーションは町から離れており、インターネットアクセスの状態からして、結果として、このビジネスホテルにする必要はなかったです。

The hotel looks old. We stayed at the new building for 2 nights. Check-in receives a card key at the main building, and the new building also puts the entrance with a card key. The bath and toilet are separated and it is a clean hotel. It feels quite otok. I think breakfast is the main building and it is troublesome. It's better not to expect it. There is only curry, it is an image. I like it.

Stayed at the Hotel Route Inn at Yokkaichi - It was a typical Japanese low cost hotel. Very practical and efficient. Did its job. The room was as comfortable as a room in a small business hotel can be - Had a moulded bathroom with a small bath tub/shower. Apart from Japanese breakfast it had cold cuts, eggs, juice, cereal, etc. The first night I had dinner there - Average. Check-in and check-out was very efficient. On the first day, Nagashima Masper Landes → Day 2 Toba → Day 3 I made a plan to move through Ise Jingu shrine and Mie Prefecture, and used this hotel in Yokkaichi as a relay point accommodation. The parking lot was full at the time of hotel check-in, but I quickly found a parking lot cheaper than the hotel parking lot (11030 yen a day) nearby. The rooms are large enough and well equipped for a business hotel. Close to Kintetsu Yokkaichi Station, if you look downstairs from the window of the room, you can see the line of the Yunoyama line of the Kintetsu line branch line. We particularly enjoyed our time in the guest lounge with a reading room—looking over Ago Bay at sunset and enjoying small but exquisite hors d'oeuvres (the quiche was a killer!). For non-readers, this is a romantic place to look into your lover’s eyes. I enjoyed reading, relaxing next to my husband, who was sipping wine. I couldn’t finish “Karei-naru Ichizoku” so we will come back to finish the book. It would be better if the reading room had a better selection of books both in Japanese and in English--for example, some novels set in ocean resort hotels (I can recommend some), and reading lamps (for after sunset). Our stay concluded with an amazing breakfast. Although it was called “American breakfast,” it came with soup (which tasted great) and a salad (which tasted great, too, and very very fresh—cucumbers tasted amazingly juicy). I have never had a better egg benedict! The hollandaise sauce is flavored with shrimp, elevating the egg benedict to a real French dish. Overall, this is the best place to come when you want to be pampered. We will definitely stay at this hotel again.

If you overcome the moldy scent, old facilities, and the front desk on the third floor without elevators, you can use a room that is not narrow with two beds reasonably. There is a convenience store across the hotel, and there are Gusto and Sukiya not far away, so I could solve the meal cheaply.

Must be five-star praise! I originally booked a single room for 300 yuan, but I went and told me that I was promoted to a Japanese room if there were fewer guests today. Because of the epidemic, all the stores around here, including convenience stores, closed at six o'clock. I casually asked where I can have dinner nearby. As a result, the front desk drove me to the city for dinner. The service was really full! The breakfast is also very good.
