Very well located, in a small fisherman’s house. Cozy and quiet

We booked a lodge for one night through booking. We did not receive any instructions for handing over the lodge and when we arrived at reception there was no one to welcome us. We had to call the owner who explained to us remotely how to access the lodge. The lodge was very large with a nice sea view but at the same time very cold and unwelcoming. The windows in the room were totally dirty and greasy, not to mention the radiator was rusty and brown with dirt, not to mention the refrigerator which had grease and food stains on the shelves. The bed had to be completely made with sheets placed in an IKEA bag on the floor. the bedroom had dirty walls and hair or hair in the bed. We didn't feel like staying, we left, informing the owner of the reason for our escape. Obviously, having already paid, he didn't give us any refund because we didn't give him the chance to make up for it but, seeing the state of all the other lodges, we preferred to leave. The much worse thing was that he communicated our no-show to booking so as not to allow us to leave a negative review as we had anticipated and this is also totally dishonest.

Characteristic but very poorly managed Rorbuer. The structure was dirty, you have to make your own bed and unpack it upon departure, by doing this I was bitten by fleas... The oven was unusable, dirty and full of crumbs The broken sofa Reception closed, they don't answer the phone The view is on the port and crumbling industrial structures Not recommended... too bad because they are structures that have potential...

Awesome place, sleeping in a typical Norwegian place is something else, we were during November, maybe add a television should be good as the night is coming at 15h but anyway pleasant stay there with everything’s needed to cool and enjoy your stay there.

BAD EXPERIENCE BE CAREFUL BOOKING! DIRT (see photo!): pots encrusted with food residues, oily pans, oven with grease drips, rusty cutlery and smelly fridge, sticky door handles, mattress with stains and HAIR, stained kitchen towel, drawers with insects, mold and dust around were just the beginning of our nightmare! RUDENESS AND DISCOURTESY: as soon as we checked in, given the non-existent hygienic-sanitary conditions, we immediately contacted the reception to ask for cleaning which was denied to us, saying that it was not feasible (it was 12 PM) and we had to ask for a refund from booking if we didn't want to stay. A few minutes later, however, the same person entered the house asking us to contact the owner before requesting a refund. The latter told us that she would verify our request via email, also without offering us the cleaning. While we were on the phone with the Booking operators, a third person entered the apartment without introducing himself (stockfish museum manager - see the reviews about him via the museum) who, upset, started talking in Italian saying that the structure it was a "HUT" (paid more than €500 for 2 nights), that if we wanted the clean stuff we had to WASH IT OURSELVES and that we were talking nonsense (he used the following terminology: "this is S**T" to make the tone clear rude) and that he had not the slightest intention of refunding us because for him the apartment was in excellent condition. Judge from the photos whether it was possible to stay in that state. OLD CONDITION: We were aware that this is also a historic structure, but this does not exclude the fact that it can be kept in good condition. During our holiday we stayed in other Robruer, otherwise all were well kept and clean. COLD: with the excuse that it is a "typical" fishermen's house and therefore a "historic" structure, the house is left abandoned and the fixtures do not retain heat well. As soon as we entered the house it was very cold compared to all the other Norwegian accommodations we stayed in on the same days... DO NOT BOOK IF YOU DON'T WANT TO LIVE A NIGHTMARE WHICH, LIKE US, RUINED THE LAST 2 DAYS OF HOLIDAY AND FORCED TO SPEND ANOTHER 500 € FOR ANOTHER ACCOMMODATION
