They were closed when we got there.

But leaving me and my 15 year old son: in a mew country, not speaking the language, on the street and 12 at night with no where to go is

Compared to the usual airport hotels that tend to be in the middle of nowhere, this one is in a separate small town, but with easy access to and from the airport, at least during the day. The internet connection worked well (though it is an unsecured network) and there are several shops nearby that make the stay more convenient as well. The room was spacious, albeit a bit dated, but certainly proportionate to the price.

We are 3 friends travelling together and the room with 3 beds fits our needs.
The staff were so friendly and accommodating.
Aalsmere is a charming neighborhood within easy transport to Schipol and Amsterdam Central.
I will stay in this place again.

Hotellet var helt fint, tror dog vi så en mus i resturanten klokken 5 om morgenen (før de åbner). Vi prøvede ikke resturanten så vi kan ikke sige så meget om den, men den så hyghelig ud.
Byen er hyggelig, vi var på en italiensk nede i byen som laver fin pasta og så får man nok for pengene.
